Faith slept all night again, woohoo!!!
I got an email this morning from daycare saying she may have been exposed to Croup, so that was fun (sarcasm). DH is going to try to find out some more information when he drops her off, the infants and toddlers are pretty secluded so unless it was someone in her room the risk is really low.
I finished TWO Shutterfly books last night, one of my pregnancy and Faith's first days home and the second a "yearbook" of our first year of marriage. I had forgotten I had started that one. lmao

Good morning! It’s not even 9am and I need nap. I got home from work at midnight. By the time I got to bed it was 12:30. Then the baby woke up congested at 1:30. I got him back to sleep but then MHs alarm woke me up. Then I was up for the day at 6. The baby is still congested and he is coughing and sneezing a bit. No fever so it’s probably just a little cold. I am taking the kiddos to the library for a free play time. I am so glad it’s Friday and I will have MHs Help all weekend.

Hiiiiiiiii. Happy Friday.
I'm really overwhelmed with being back at work. Not sure how I'm going to manage the work load AND pump. Last time I was able to fly under the radar pretty well but this time not so much. I got a call from one of the other EAs right when I got to the pump room to help them with something and I'm like Uhh.. I'm not going to be back at my desk for like 15 minutes.. My boss told me that he is happy to back me up with my every 3 hour pump breaks but.. Yeah. Idk.

Well I looked and I have 4 gallon bags of breastmilk in the freezer and unfortunately I've stopped being able to freeze more so when that runs out I guess we start supplementing at daycare. We will make it to 6 months before then and that was my goal but it still sucks and I'll likely give up pumping shortly thereafter. Not that I wanted to EP for a year again but I didn't want to end because my supply tanked. And I'm not invested enough to try many of the tricks to increase.

And we found out the kid with croup was in the infant room on Wednesday with Faith... I'm crossing my fingers she doesn't get this.

sunfrogger I feel you 😴 aprilz81 I hope everybody stays healthy!! pinkcat so jealous that’s awesome! The girls & I will be headed to my parents lakehouse when I get out at 4. I can’t wait!! My mom is always a huge help with the kids. Also in the midst of 4 month sleep regression and 2 year molars here. It sucks, but maybe they’ll end at the same time. Forecast looks great for the weekend here!

The baby fell asleep on the way home from swimming at 7:45. He had last ate around 6. He then slept until almost 6am! This is making me excited that the 4 month sleep regression will never hit us lol

DS had his first tooth pop through this week! He will be 4 months next week. I'm so sad- he's getting so big so fast!! I miss my tiny newborn but I also love how fun he is getting!

DD had it when she was 3.5 years old. I got her into the doctor right away and she was given a steroid. That help with the croupy cough but she still had a fever for a handful of days, along with a "regular" cough.

I’m convinced DS2 hates sleep. Both h and I are at the point where we are drifting to sleep in places like work which isn’t good. And it’s stressing me out because our house is falling behind.

aprilz81 just watch for the barky seal cough or her chest contracting when she breathes. DS1 gets croup at least once a winter. The cold air at night really seems to help. If you suspect anything is up I’d call her pediatrician because as much as I hate the mood swings/hunger that come with the steroids they really do help.

I always enjoyed looking through my Mom's family photo albums (not scrapbooks, just pictures in a photo album with names and dates). As more and more, and now all, of my pictures are digital I really want to start doing something with them instead of storing them on various devices and hoping I don't loose them. I've done a few one-off albums on Shutterfly for vacations and our wedding and now that we have Faith it is super important to me to have these. After Faith went to bed tonight I sat down and started a 2018 book and have put our best pictures into it. With the ones I finished last night I feel accomplished! I'm going to do short ones (or maybe one bigger combined one) for the three "missing" years between our first year of marriage and this year.
I also noticed how few pictures I have of me with Faith in her first few weeks of life. Probably because when I showered I didn't bother to do my hair or makeup... lol I need to remember to have DH take my picture with her too...

sunfrogger, do you use regular flax seeds or ground? I have an "energy cookie" recipe I use for lactation cookies. I use ground flax for those. (Sorry if that's a dumb question, I'm still learning about flax).

Its on my list to bake though! And I just realized it didn't have bake times on it. Whoops

Grinding them makes all of the nutrients available to be absorbed.
