It’s been a while since I read it, but I don’t think they really kissed, although that would add an extra level of awkward to all those Harry as a third wheel pics

If they did, I could only see it as portrayed in the book, something mostly innocent that was stopped quickly. I thought a bigger deal was made of it in the book than perhaps was necessary. Geez Nick.
I could also see why Meghan would adapt to this lifestyle much more easily/quickly being used to the paparazzi and gossip scene already. What a way of life.

As an actress and by the way her old friends talk about her she was just like Lacey and craves/lives for the attention

I have to say I loved the nickname (if you will) of Night Bex and Night Nick. I don't know why I thought that was so great.

I listened to the audio version and the narration was on point. I'd definitely recommend it.

Since Meghan gave up her US citizenship I feel like that part about them wanting Bex to give it up seems legit

I listened to the audio version and the narration was on point. I'd definitely recommend it. So random, but I was watching the show Hollywood Darlings and looked up Christine Lakin(Step by Step). Turns out she is the one who narrates the audiobook of The Royal We. Also I was looking at the book this week at B&N and saw there’s now a bonus chapter from the younger brothers POV. I’m sure the next book, with a faux Meghan is in the works.

Just finished the book - I thought it was a really fun read! I was surprised by how long it was.
I don’t think anything physically has happened between Kate and Harry in real life, BUT I have always suspected that Harry had feelings for Kate. Maybe a little crush, maybe more. It’s just always something I kind of saw peeking through by the way he used to look at her during group engagements. Who really knows though.
Aside from visiting the UK to research places is the book, do we know what other kind of research the authors did while writing? Like, did they talk to anyone who would operate in those circles? Just curious.

Taitai, I wondered if they had gotten some type of insider gossip, but I have no idea. I haven't looked into the development of the book at all.

@angelashley Yep - I think him seeing Kate and Will happy together made him motivated to find his own Kate too. I actually think it’s very interesting that Will didn’t marry a blue blooded/titled aristocrat, and neither did Harry. I wonder if Harry saw what Will has, and was like - I want someone who grew up middle class like Kate did. byjove I think I’m going to check into the background of the book. I know one of the blogs i follow (what Kate wore) had a giveaway when the book came out, and she shared some info on its inspiration and how the authors developed the story. I’ll try to find the post and share a link here. ETA - I found the post...but not much background on how they researched their book. Bah, oh well! Here’s the link in case anyone is interested: whatkatewore.com/tag/royal-we/

Harry has always said that Diana wanted them raised and did so when she was alive in a normal atmosphere.

I liked it. I don’t think any of the Bex and Freddie stuff is based in reality.
