I need some stories to cheer me up. What’s your crazy workplace story? Got a drama filled coworker? Work an insane job? Lets hear it!

Old work lady just yesterday suggested my H and I should try this restaurant that she went to the other night.
Nothing new here. I’m just admitting I still haven’t shut it down.

We just had to let a guy at one of our contracts go because he was caught peeing in the emergency eye wash station.

Oh and this lady who is now retired but used to work in my office used to randomly eat everyone’s food and act like she didn’t know it wasn’t hers.
Example one, we ordered Chinese take out, two of us ordered egg rolls- she did not, however she immediately sat down at the table and touched them all then ate one- ok no big deal she may have forgotten which sides she got.
Example two, we ordered salads- she said no thanks I have food. Salads get dropped off we all grab ours, one coworker was caught up on the phone so he was late, gets into the dining area and she is eating his salad. He says C you didn’t order food- she says oh do you want to share? Never offered to pay to get him a new salad.
Example three, we go to ice cream take out place as a company outing. She orders whatever she orders then proceeds to eat my salad while I help out my boss with some work issue that popped up. She tried to give me the half eaten salad as well, I said no.

I’ve never met him in person but I used to talk to him all the time so I asked his boss why he ended. Definitely not the response I was expecting.

meggriffin, reminds me of the office I worked in where the boss would walk up and take a bite of my sandwich and another manager (they were brothers) treated us all to ice cream and helped himself to a spoonful of mine. I don't mind if you take a french fry or something, but do not put your mouth on my food.

One of our project managers got drunk at the company wide meeting and ended up peeing in a plant in the corner of the room.
Which was right next to the table the owner was sitting at.

Last week, DH was offered a temporary position in NOLA with a few other co-workers...A MONTH AFTER THEY SENT HIM THERE AND SENT HIM BACK BECAUSE THERE WASN'T EVEN ROOM IN THE BUDGET FOR JUST OUR FAMILY TO GO.
So, not funny as much as WHAT.THE.FUCK? We aren't considering it this time for a host oof reasons, but man, his company is the worst sometimes.

This is old, but my old supervisor sent a dick pic to a vendor who then forwarded it to our company wide email address.
And he didn’t get fired. 🙄

I used to be a chef and then got promoted to restaurant manager. I could write a book. A coworker and I started one a few years ago. It was titled "Did you know there were mushrooms on the Mushroom Pizza?" Which was a verbatim question someone asked us. I could probably add a few chapters about co-workers as well.

A few months ago, I met with the CFO to discuss some issues I'm having with one of the financial departments under him and the dept manager specifically. He told me to make a spreadsheet of exact examples, attaching emails and other documentation so he had something tangible to look into. So, I did. There were like 10 technical items such as missing void to vendor X. But then the last item on the list was where I attached an email from the dept manager and said how her response to me was completely unhelpful, unprofessional, she made my problem worse and then refused to help me fix it, overall poor leadership qualities.
Well.....the CFO is apparently too busy to actually read anything even though he requested it from me. Within 15 seconds of sending it to him, he FORWARDED it to that manager, copying me. I guess he thought it was only going to be technical issues that she could fix, so he didn't read it first. My mouth dropped and I was practically having a heart attack expecting her to call me screaming (she's in another location). I never heard from her, and she has actually been slightly more helpful now.

The scandal when she finds out about your co-worker perusing you The best part of it all is that all of my other coworkers have been notified of the antics and we just go along with it. So she says “Peach’s husband...” and we just shake our heads in agreement. This all sounds so crazy typing it out. Lmao

I had to fire a guy for screaming obscenities at a co-worker in front of patients. Apparently she slept with his boyfriend or something. It was like a bad reality show. He also stalked her at work to the point we had to take out a restraining order against him.
That was not even the only time we had to involve police/courts against an ex-employee.

Like the woman from HR who would use a horribly inappropriate Chinese accent when we ordered Chinese food for takeout.
That one stopped me dead in my tracks.

I worked for a doctor who had multiple affairs with staff members. It was awkward AF when his wife would come in. I felt so bad for her.
