Oh no jewels! Google bee keepers in your area, they are always pumped when someone needs help.

sands42, chop up whatever veggies they like (I do zucchini, yellow squash, red onion, sometimes mushrooms, brussel sprouts or broccoli), then slice up some turkey sausage. All of it goes on sheet pan, into the oven, done. One meal, super easy. I usually make mac & cheese with it because Cadence will not eat the veggies, but she'll go to town on the sausage. Veggies they like.... lol.

I was just sitting in the living room and heard a bee. Then another. My H is home so I got him cuz I’m terrofied. He’s killed 6 so far so it’s obviously a nest somewhere. Ben and I are sequestered up in his room but I am freaking out. He leaves town tomorrow and everything I’ve heard is it’s impossible to get bees out once they move in. I want to cry. If it makes you feel better, you can absolutely get rid of them. We had super old windows when I was a kid and I had a few little hives in the corners of my windows. We cleared them out and replaced the windows and I never had a problem again. Aside from a lifelong fear of bees, of course.

tgrimes that’s a good link! Lots of good recepies! guster My older two will eat spaghetti but Letty won’t tallb Breakfast is usually cereal and/or toast. But my older two will eat eggs sometimes. Letty will not. Gunner hasn’t eaten at preschool before yet- he leaves before lunch. So I’m not sure what I would try to give him! lahdeedah I do use onion powder sometimes! I like the flavor... just can’t stand knowing they are in food. It’s dumb. flamingo.... I don’t know how to work the grill. I need to learn. Letty WILL eat steak. She’s a weird one.

MH went up to our attic and saw a ton more. We called about 84628 pest control places till we found one that will come today.
Did I mention I have an irrational fear of bees? Like one bee terrifies me? This is not good

My kids eat similar to wedding. We don't have a lot of time for meals in the evening so it's usually a simple "lunch" meal. Some sort of main course (mini bagels, turkey dogs, turkey sausage, Rice-a-roni, mac-n-cheese), fruit, and something else (corn, carrots, bread roll, whatever). I want to try to get more into meal planning and regular meals going. There's always someone who won't eat something in a meal. I usually just roll with it and let the girls trade with each other. Maddie often takes Cass' bread and Cass takes the berries if we have any. No treats/extras if they don't eat what's in front of them.

joelies, I’m more concerned with the residual bees over the next few days - MH leaves in the morning and is gone for most of the rest of the month... only home a few days here and there!! I don’t want to deal w this alone!!

I thought with the exception of a few most people around here wouldn't know obscure 80s horror movies. I hope the bees are gone ASAP.

We're in a house searching/prepping for sale frenzy. We are selling and we've narrowed it down to a few options with strongly leaning towards the first house that caught our eye. We're looking at 2 more tonight, 1 which might be a contender and 1 I think we will cross off the list. Our house needs to be majorly decluttered for staging. We hope to make a decision tomorrow and put in an offer. We really like the house we're leaning towards, but it's not perfect (le sigh...if we only had the money and ability to buy property and build to our specs), but it'd be a big upgrade from where we are now and would be great for us all through our years raising the girls.

They just arrested a creeper following teenage girls at our Target. From my job I know to keep C close in places like theyC, but seeing it so close to home is disturbing.

Help, please. MH bought the generic children's Benadryl. It says 12.5mg per 5ml, but the box is labeled ages 6-11. Is this the Benadryl that we can give our 4yo) if there's an allergic reaction? I don't remember if the name brand box specifically listed ages, but it might have.

Hi there! Haven't read yet, but I wanted to check in. I've been in more pain today so I've been trying to rest. The siblings came back today, and they are so in love with her. It's really cute. We are getting closer on a name, will share soon...I don't want to jinx it! Most of my photos are on my good camera, but here are a few from my and H's phones:

Dentist went horrible. He needed X-rays and I couldn't be in the room which freaked him out and he wouldn't cooperate. I asked C to take him but he didn't want to.

I feel like we've had this discussion before, but I can't remember the consensus, so humor me: are we terrible parents if we miss Halloween due to a trip? Honest opinion, I can take it.
(If it matters, haven't booked yet but rates are insanely good if we go that week, plus we are trying to coordinate grandparents babysitting and to a lesser extent my H's work schedule)
