What do I give a good friend who just had her second baby?
Reasons why I'm stumped:
1. She's out of town, so I need to mail something. 2. She's super minimalist so has no patience for clutter. 3. She's very creative, so she DIYs all this super cute baby and kid stuff already. 4. It's her second girl in two years, so she's probably all stocked up on all the kid things.
Maybe just see if there's Uber Eats in her city and mail her a gift card?

Find a way to send food or a gift card for food delivery.
I usually use munchery, which delivers food you just need to heat up.
That or a spa gift card if you think she will use it.

i think it's hard to go wrong with a food-related gift card (to uber eats or a local place you know she likes, or someplace like costco where you can stock up on snacks). or if you know what snacks she likes, you could send her some kind of bulk snack like boxes of kind bars via amazon. personally, i would also be jazzed to get diapers and wipes, but that's maybe not the most fun gift ever.

I've never heard of Munchery. I've always been looking for something like that. Alas, it's not available in her city. OR in mine. Boo!

I just bought my buddy an amazon gift card for her second son (also within a couple years) which is kind of boring, but I'm hoping she'll just use it on herself. I think uber eats would be great!

I think a gift card for food delivery or maybe a Winc box would be lovely.

Something personalized for the baby- a book, a blanket- and food or booze for the mama.

+1 to gift card, amazon, target, food place, any of those would be good.
And as a soon to be STM, I would love it if someone like sent me a bunch of diapers. Because man you go through them so quick in the beginning.

I would do some sort of snack box that you put together for your friend, her so, and maybe something for the older one.

I can’t imagine the sleep deprivation of 2U2. I would be inclined to send a small token gift for the new baby but put my $$ into little amazon primed books/games/videos for the 2YO after the baby arrives and mom is partially narcoleptic. Having the older one occupied was such a relief.

Does she have a carrier? A lot of my friends didn't use one with their first, but it's almost indispensable the second time around when you need more hands to deal with your first child.

I would send food. You know I raved about the ice cream sandwiches someone sent me post-baby. HilarityEnsued sent me Baked by Melissa and they were gone in four minutes. Especially when you’re so hungry and having those sweet cravings during the newborn weeks, any and all sweet treats will get put in my belly immediately.

Because man you go through them so quick in the beginning. I was thinking diapers as well. But I've been on the receiving end of well meaning gifts and (home made) food that got tossed. A giant box of diapers is golden, though.
