My DS turns 3 in 11 days, and he's been hitting the threenager phase hard already. Everything is a battle, but then he puts on the cutest little voice and says, "oh, you're so pretty mommy," and gives me a big hug just when I'm seriously considering putting him up for adoption. I'm very much worried about having this baby in the midst of three, just at the start of winter when we'll be cooped up in the house for a solid four months or so.

My son turned 3 on 5/10. For the most part he is fine but good god when it's bad it's bad.

Dr. Cox I have a March ‘15 kid and she’s an absolute monster. 1 was fine. 2 was chill. 3 is... something. Damn, so it gets worse, huh? Mine hit three and flipped his asshole switch. I really miss alcohol right now lol

Dr. Cox DD made me cry on Sunday. Same reason. I was so done with fighting over every. little. thing. And then she apologizes and pats my head. Infuriatingly adorable. I am so stuck in this cycle with my M15 DS right now. GDI three-year-olds can be infuriating. And cute.

Welp, I walked into this thread completely satisfied for once, and now I’m about to leave with 5-6 cravings I have no way of helping tonight. Rofl
+1 to the toddler hell... B won’t be 3 until August, but dear lawd. Halp. Hopefully getting out a little more this week will be beneficial. I feel bad that he’s been cooped up so much, but I’m doing the best I can. We’ve been so busy with other things and I’m exhausted.

Anyone else feeling more frequent movement? I’ve been feeling stretching and rolling off and on for a week now, but the last couple of days have been insane. I swear I might have felt a jab earlier.
B was always so low so having L using my ribs as a jungle gym is a new experience. Lol

notelsie I am experiencing the opposite! Almost 19 weeks and I still don’t really feel anything that stands out as definite movement. I thought I did several weeks ago, but nothing really since then. My doctor said to expect to feel movement earlier this time but there’s still not a lot going on here.

I’m sorry you haven’t felt much. I know that’s something reassuring during the waiting.

I know it’s fine and all, but I’m anxious to hear the heartbeat tomorrow.

I can’t wait until movement is consistent every day for that reassurance.

N/T scan is today! Excited and nervous and nauseous and all the things this morning. Why did I schedule it for 1pm? That’s so far away!

Good point - mine will be up to three days a week by the time baby comes, and we're definitely keeping it that way through my maternity leave. And at least by then I can drink again! If I'm awake enough to do so, lol.

I always kick myself for scheduling any appointments (especially ones I might be remotely nervous about) not as early as possible in the day - the waiting around for it all day is the worst. Hope 1 pm comes soon for you!

I found out today I have an anterior, which explains why i'm barely feeling anything. Baby was wiggling and flipping on the ultrasound and I didn't feel a thing.

I'm at my OB right now, which is in a medical building connected to the hospital. When I got off the elevator, it smelled like my grandma's house. Then I passed a woman who smelled like her. My grandma and I were very very close and she has Alzheimer's and doesn't remember me anymore. So by the time I got to the desk to check in, I was crying. So that was kind of embarrassing, but I guess they probably see hormonal pregnant women all the time.

Well, my OB won’t let me have my A/S until July 3rd and I can’t wait that long to find out, so we’re going to hopefully do the elective ultrasound this weekend.

I lost the appointment thread and the app is being weird about scrolling. Anyway... had the n/t scan today. All looked good! Just have to do the blood work and keep my fingers crossed that all genetic screening comes back low risk. After measuring a bit behind at first, baby has caught up and is measuring on track with LMP! Woo!

Age 3 was a pain but 4 is being kinder to us. There are still some...very special moments, but at least now she has some ability to understand logic and reason. It’s the whining that kills me. JUST USE A NORMAL VOICE and we will all survive, child.

Re: cravings
BAGELS is all I want. Breuggers bagels with ungodly amounts of cream cheese. I’ve been buying 13 bagels and 4 tubs of cream cheese every other week and god forbid someone else touch my stash. 🔪💣
