Cadence has said she has rib pains (that's where she is pointing) the past 2 days. I think it's just gas and constipation, though. I think she has skipped 2 days of pooping, which means she will probably have a major one at dc today.

Just got lo's dental appointment for tomorrow. Now I'm on hold waiting for my HR team to pick up. How long do you think I will be in hold. It was 45 minutes for the dentist.

HR only took 12 minutes but then he put me back on hold to pull up documents. This sucks that they messed up like this.

Have you read yelp reviews of day cares? That's how I avoided a real crazy one.

snoopmommymom, my best, unsolicited advise is that you don't answer those questions. Just "It was the decision that was best for the company at this time."

Not for layoffs, but when there are disciplinary actions for things that are obviously happening and I get tons of questions about it, I always say "Look, if I had a private meeting with you, you wouldn't want me discussing it with others, right? So of course, I can't discuss X Person's private information with you, you understand."

It usually gets people to at least stop asking questions.

The one that I am looking at is new - it's a local chain (maybe a dozen or so throughout the state) but this location just opened in April.  It's a block from my current one, and opened by a family who used to go there!

But not a lot of history yet.   A bunch of families from where I currently am have moved there, but no one I actually know.

vino ugh I feel like your current place is like the one N is leaving a bit. Before putting in notice I emailed 2 times confirming I wouldn't be charged for June since my deposit was the last month's tuition. Guess who was charged last night 😠. And now she's saying I can get the check July 1.

trtlcrzy did you see Starbucks is bumping up it's strawberry & creme frap. They are adding 2 layers of strawberry puree and it will apparently be permanent on the menu.

No, I didn’t. That one doesn’t have coffee though, right? I need some caffeine in mine. I really like the ultra Carmel and triple mocha ones though.

I drink the strawberries and cream all the time. So yummy. It's one of the few drinks I get from Starbucks.
