MH picked up the kids on Friday from daycare, and B comes storming in the house saying 'Mom our baby is a toddler now, she's moved up rooms'. So my 4.5 yo knew that Julia was moving before i did. That place sucks so much on the communication end, I'd take a singing telegram at this point.

She's fine so off to daycare she went. I dosed her with tylenol for pain. When did amoxicillin become white? The prescription we got for H was still pink a couple weeks ago. I feel like H has had white ammox before. Maybe it’s a different flavor?

Oh mwhip The Fishing Game is a favorite here, too (not sure if someone else has mentioned it) but it's the one where you're catching the fish with poles, not the card game

M is having difficulties taking it because it's not pink like brother's.

Do your kids play in their rooms? Just in the last week or so, Josie has been asking to go up stairs randomly to go play with the stuffed animals in her room. She doesn't have any toys in there so she takes her hats and jewelry and sunglasses out from her closet and dresses them up. Only when he is supposed to be sleeping. Otherwise he wants us to play with him. He isn't the play by himself type

It hasn't even been 24 hours and my mom has already annoyed me. She keeps trying to get me to do jumping jacks and walk 8 miles with her. Umm...no. I already have issues and my doctor said to limit exercise due to them. Chill out, chrisy01's Mom!! Jumping jacks at 9 months pregnant sounds like my idea of hell. Sure does! Can barely even do those PP without my uterus trying to crawl away from my body.

I leave in a half an hour for reading and it's my readers bday this week so I brought cupcakes. He is going to be thrilled! We ended before his bday last year and he was bummed we didn't celebrate.
After that I have my 1yr post op checkup. They always run super behind schedule so I am not looking forward to it. \
C wet the bed in the MOTN last night, which he never does. This is his 3rd accident in a week and I am at a loss as to what to do. I don't want to put him back in pull ups but what the heck is the issue?! I even tried waking him last night before I went to bed to get him to pee and he refused. I think I need to physically pick him up and put him in the bathroom. But really, shouldn't he just be getting up on his own?
Also he has been complaining a lot about his knees hurting. This has been going on every so often for a few months but lately its been daily. Sometimes one knee, sometimes both. Ibuprofen helps and it isn't enough to hinder his mobility. Growing pains maybe? He is becoming quite a beast.

Atticus keeps complaining of pains saying he has cramps, but usually points to joints or the outside of his thigh where he would be unlikely to get them so I think they're growing pains. We offer him heating pads, warm baths, massages, and Tylenol.

So many things to respond to, let's see if I can remember. 1) S plays in both his room and his brother's room by himself, sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes for a while. Both rooms have toys and books in them. He will also lay in bed watching the ipad for as long as I'll let him. 2) We play Uno, Superhero Chutes and Ladders, and Star Wars Sorry! Mostly, he just builds with Legos, he can concentrate on building a tiny spaceship or similar for hours. 3) Yey for Epidural dapostrophe! 4) chrisy01 What?? Jumping jacks?? Is she crazy?!?!? 5) Well, there were a bunch of things I thought of while typing but you guys are chatty this morning and I forgot them already!

wedding is he backed up? Constipation can cause bed wetting. Pullups are useless, j was doing fine for a while and we were about to drop them and suddenly he's leaked multiple nights in the past few weeks.. last night he got up and went on his own though.

OH vino - exact same at DC. This is so unimportant, but I literally got an email at 10:00 last night that said today was pajama day. I check my email frequently, but many don't. S BFF was dropping off at the same time as me and was POd that she didn't know b/c her kid was bummed. There's a lot of important stuff they don't communicate, but also the stupid little stuff like that. The email last night also said it's spirit week. Monday is Pajama day and we'll update the rest of the week tomorrow. Like how hard would it have been to put the other 4 days in there?? And to send it sometime last week?!? But I have gotten used to it. I still debate moving the kids all the time, but now with 1 year left for S I feel it would be disruptive. I'm not so sure about B though. Vino, you were thinking about moving J, right? Did you decide? B starts K in September, right?

My mom is crazy when it comes to pregnancy and babies. She takes pride that she went Christmas shopping the day she had me. After having LO she was going to demand the hospital to release me. I told her no. She thinks I'm crazy for wanting to bf. She just doesn't get it.

Yay for baby day!!!
My kids don’t play in their rooms because they are upstairs and we have a first floor playroom.
O has many of the games previously mentioned but one that wasn’t mentioned that i actually enjoy playing because there is strategy involved is Hoot Owl Hoot. It’s a cooperative game and I’m not sure how much O understands the strategy part but we both like to play together.

jewels if I switch daycares, it would be for both kids, I'm not separating them. B starts kinder in Sept but it's only half days, so he would still require afternoon care, and transportation to and from the school. It's a gamble though, because how do you know what you're going to? worse? better? Gah, being a working parent is hard.

Today is my other layoff at 2pm. Of course i had nightmares about it last night. And when i confirmed the time last night via text the guy immediately texted asking what it was about. I hadn’t answered back (because i was thinking of what i should say) and then he called me! 😳 i didn’t answer because i was doing all this while laying in O’s bed as i was putting him to bed. I eventually made something up via text, but needless to say, this is going to be a hard one. Plus his team is the one with the not delightful personalities so i will probably have a lot of people with “questions.”

I told her no. She thinks I'm crazy for wanting to bf. She just doesn't get it. That's so odd. I shopped at the mall and Target while in early labor with C. Lots of people are out walking (and shopping) the baby out, it's not special! My mom is the same about bf.

Nope. He poops at least twice a day. I’m thinking it’s from drinking more water because it’s been hot but I don’t want to limit it more than I do (half cup at night with dinner) because he plays and sweats so hard.

wedding I think I mentioned here that B wet the bed twice last week, which hasn't happened in close to a year. So for the last few nights we have been waking hime up and physically putting him on the toilet before we go to bed. He pees, DH carries him back to bed, and he immediately goes back to sleep. We keep all the lights off. So that may be what you need to do on nights when you feel like he's had lots to drink. Accidents are still normal at this age but I think it's questionable whether they're going to wake up from a sound sleep if they have to go. Also, I tend to agree with cagoldi 's suggestion of growing pains, B experiences them in his shins fairly often. We just dose him with tylenol. I remember feeling them in my legs and knees a lot as a kid.
