Ultimate goal: 5-10 pounds
This week's goal: continue healthy eating
How are you doing so far?
Today is technically a rest day, so I might take advantage of that. I have been doing ab work thats more geared towards diastasis recti. Have any of you had experience with that? I don't think mine healed all the way after DD (almost 6 years ago). So I might do a quick ab workout tonight.

Ultimate goal: Lose 150+
This week's goal: Lose 2lbs
How are you doing so far? Well, yesterday when I weighed, I was down 2. Of course, AF started today and I'm up 2.6. Damn water weight. I will say, though, I was able to be active a LOT this past week and my arthritis pain has been getting a lot better. I'm not sure if it's the warm pool water, the slow weight loss, or what, but I'll take it! I actually got out of bed without hobbling this morning...I can't remember the last time that happened, but it's been at least a year.
RRAW: So, kind of along the lines of what I mentioned above, since I've been doing water workouts, it's been a tremendous help when being able to be active while having severe arthritis in my knees/hip. On Friday when I was in the pool, it dawned on me that since the water reduces the weight on my joints, THIS is what it will feel like all the time once I reach a healthy/healthier weight. That's such a huge motivator for me. It was good timing on that too, because the whole day leading up to that I'd been mentally beating myself up for ever having let myself get to the state that I'm in. On top of my physical health, I also have depression. I'm on meds (which slow weight loss, boo), but I've always used exercise in the past to augment the effectiveness of them and haven't been able to do so for quite some time. I'm feeling that mental lift now though and felt somewhat hopeful for the first time in awhile when I woke up today.
I hope everyone has a great week!!

radiantfate, yay for feeling better and hopeful. Every time I read your posts in this thread I just want to wrap you in hugs - you're doing wonderfully and I know the progress might seem slow but I truly believe that those slow changes are the ones that stick. Ultimate goal: lose 5-7lbs, tone up This week's goal: yoga every day How are you doing so far? this weekend was super busy so it was tough to fit in but I'm sticking with it. Visiting family this weekend, going to see if I can get my dad to yoga with me! lol. RRAW: I'm sick, and about to start Femara for this cycle which makes me feel yucky so the next 6 or so days will be tough. Luckily, eating healthy and staying active at my parent's house will be easy.

Thank you charliefox! That means a lot to me, it really does. I hope you start feeling better soon, especially with starting the Femara.

Ultimate goal: 50 lbs
This week's goal: To start exercising again. I was doing well for months but I got sick and fell out of the habit. Now my weight loss has stalled.
How are you doing so far? Not well. Getting lots of steps in though.
RRAW: I'm 20 lbs down from where I started, I've got 10 more before I'm under 200 so I'm hoping to hit that soon. I'm under pre DS weight though, so that's nice.

Ultimate goal: Haven't weighed myself in a while. I'm going with 15 lbs maybe? But I need some serious toning up.
This week's goal: Keep on track with food.
How are you doing so far? Good! I've been doing so well with food. Just needed to get my head in the game.
RRAW: I know if we hadn't been TTC for so long and if we hadn't had the loss I wouldn't have gained this weight. I'm just frustrated because it was preventable. I'm also frustrated because I take DD places after school every day (park, swimming, her sports, etc) and we don't get home until after 7 pm. Which means I have no real time to do a workout at night (because I'm parenting alone). I need to suck it up and start working out in the morning. I have a perfect beach body workout I just need to start doing it!

I actually weighed myself this morning so I'm down 4 from my starting weight (but I think I gained somewhere in there so probably down around 6).
So my weight goals are:
10 lbs: acceptable 12 lbs: ok 15 lbs: happy at this weight 20 lbs: will be back to my normal weight 25 lbs: my secret goal that I will likely never achieve again. Haven't been here since we started trying for DD.
Plus my new bikinis came yesterday. I LOVE them but they look TERRIBLE right now. I think minimum 15 lbs for these to look ok. Maybe. We'll see where I can get to by the end of the month:/

sammysam , down 4 is a good start! I love you scale, mine is: 5lbs: ok 10lbs: my toned weight 15lbs: my secret goal that I will never again achieve, lol I am pretty petite so those small numbers make a lot of difference. Having a bit of a bummer day, I went shopping today because I have very few summer clothes (thought I'd be pregnant last summer! boooo) and it was depressing. I felt gross in everything. It's never been hard for me to shed those few lbs that make me fee a lot better but it's been super difficult this time! I've been doing yoga daily for almost 3 months and in the last 2 months have really changed up what I eat and NOTHING. The scale hasn't budged and I feel I look pretty much the same. Guess I'm going to really have to turn up the heat on my exercise.

charliefox I know exactly what you mean! I was pregnant last summer so I bought clothes that were comfortable with a growing bump. This year I needed to buy clothes that were going to motivate me. So I did. But I don't really feel good in any of it. I know they'll look good once the weight is off and I'm back to my normal weight. I'm lucky that at least I'm tall so people don't really notice small gains and losses. But 20 lbs is not small:( And even though the scale isn't moving I'm sure you have gained so much strength! We see ourselves every day so it's hard to notice a difference. Plus muscle weighs more than fat so you have likely built a tonne of muscle which accounts for the scale. And I love that you put down your scale goals:) We can both cheer eachother on towards our secret and unachievable goals!

charliefox I feel your pain. I actually purged my summer wardrobe during the winter and didn't buy a whole lot to replace it because I was counting on being KU. Now I'm having to scrounge around for stuff and I'm still reluctant to shop. I agree with sammysam though, you may want to go less by the scale and more by measurements and how things fit because muscle is denser, and if you've been doing yoga daily, you may have toned up more than you think

Alright...so I'll call the last 2 days cheat days when I was momentarily pregnant...but since that doesn't seem to be working out for me I guess I'm back to getting this weight off. Maybe my current state of sadness will help me:/
