flamingo, I've always noticed accidents seem to come in waves. Nothing for months and then all the sudden a couple in a row. I think the first is usually just a fluke (overtired, whatever), but then afterward there's some anxiety/shame about it happening that inadvertently leads to it happening again.

I just got a raise. It's not much but I guess it's the thought that counts. RIGHT?!?! I mean, yes, any raise is good. But some of them feel like a slap in the face. Like, you work your ass off, hear the profits of the company, then get some measly amount. Sometimes it pisses you off. Projecting for my H who knows the millions in profits his company makes, thanks to a company wide email, then received a 3% raise. |

Like, you work your ass off, hear the profits of the company, then get some measly amount. Sometimes it pisses you off. Projecting for my H who knows the millions in profits his company makes, thanks to a company wide email, then received a 3% raise. A 3% raise would be amazing right about now... We manage to about 2% after multiple years of pay freezes. Then management wonders why we bleed talent... |

Yeah, it's weird, b/c I have noticed that pattern, too. Last night can definitely be attributed to too much to drink...he had a full water bottle at tball, then a juice pouch on the way home (thanks, Snack Mom) and then a cookie and milk when he got home (I wasn't aware of the juice--oops.) I have no idea about night-before-last, though! Oh well. Hopefully we'll get back on track tonight. |

I want to take a several month sabbatical without actually using any of my leave or doing any academic pursuits...or perhaps studying of the effects of leisure, no agenda, and sipping sangria on my mental health.

The best is when your bosses have a big project, that you've checked ALL of the work on and when the project is finished all the attorneys get bonus checks, but the person who checked ALL OF THE DAMN WORK gets nothing. NOTHING!

The best is when your bosses have a big project, that you've checked ALL of the work on and when the project is finished all the attorneys get bonus checks, but the person who checked ALL OF THE DAMN WORK gets nothing. NOTHING!
I may still be a bit bitter about that one..... My favorite was I saved a ton of money for my company, I'm not bonus eligible but my boss' boss is, he got a bonus for my work. He had nothing to do with it...didn't even know about it until I was finished. |

Shower with a wide tooth comb to massage worked for me. And lethicin (sp?) pills. I always did a hot wash clothes rather than ice though to loosen it rather than constrict - not sure if that makes sense though. Good luck, that is the worst. EtA: chug water |

Ouch! That's the worst kim22. So painful. Unfortunately I think you've covered all the bases, I would keep repeating these and watch closely for signs of mastitis. Would cabbage leaves help with this? I know that helps when you're trying to wean. |

I used to pretty a steaming cup of hot tea to my boob while pumping when I got clogs at work. I burnt my skin more than once but it was worth it.
