Anyone have a kiddo with reflux? I’m pretty sure DD has silent reflux, as she rarely actually spits up. Anything I can do other than just propping her up after feeds?

Ugh. I’ve hit 41 w today. Last night I had one contraction. 1! I was really hoping it was the start of labor but alas, I’m still pregnant. C’mon baby! Sorry ☹️

F put on just under another ounce between last night and this morning, yay!! He's been borderline jaundice so they took some more blood and we're just waiting on the results :-) That's great! Hope you guys get to go home soon.

robot I'm just over two weeks and haven't cried in two days I think. But I also contribute some of my recent crying to this last hellish week. I hope things start to regulate for you soon.

The going home outfit I brought was 0-3 because I thought he was going to be bigger, but the poor little guy is just absolutely swimming in it. I need to go get him some more NB clothes because I have exactly 3 sleepers

J got to meet his three great grandmothers today. All the snuggling has put him in a deep sleep, but I really need him to wake up and nurse some of this milk out.
My mom brought meatballs and my grandmother brought a rotisserie chicken, so we’re set for meals for a bit. So incredibly helpful.

I think we just managed to push through the hard part of BFing. My milk is in on my left side and after I got him on (which was the struggle), he got a lot in just a few minutes. By the look he gave he was very confused about why he didn't have to work so hard to get it lol. Now we just need to get the milk in on the right and we're golden!! Breastfeeding is not easy that’s for sure .... I feel like I’ve never had a “hard” time with it but I wouldn’t consider it easy. Just a lot of work and patience (especially when they’re newborn). Hope the rest of your milk comes in

Luckily I had everything saved from my first son, so we had clothing in every size ready to go just in case. We only bought a few newborn outfits this time, but I was fully expecting based on my experience with V to use most of what we already had in that size for awhile. V was in newborn for two months, and I don't think L even made it two weeks. He'll be 6 weeks on Tuesday and I'm pretty sure we're going to be in 3-6 month clothes by early July. L's rolls are precious though. V never had rolls, he's been skinny since he was born.

We met my parents and picked the kids up this afternoon. DD(5.5) was so excited to be home but after about an hour rubbed her lower abdomen and said it kind of hurt. Apparently she hadn't pooped the whole 3.5 days she was gone and promptly went after I asked her. She perked right up and told me how much better she felt 😂
I have a feeling it'll be another week before baby decides to make an appearance. I'm very paranoid he'll flip breech again but FX he stays put. He's been very active. He also feels a little lower, so hopefully he's dropped and can't get his head back up again!

I knew this was going to happen. I cried on the way to drop DD off at daycare because I just knew that someone was going to make a comment on the fact that I’m still pregnant. And what do you know? As soon as I walked in the door, I heard DDs teacher say “You’re still here? I just knew you were going to have that baby this weekend.” After dropping her off and debating going into work today (where I have NOTHING to do, I saw 3 of my coworkers and they made the same freaking comment which sent me into tears again. I just want to go home. This sucks.

I'm so sorry kookie3631. Why can't people just keep their mouths shut?!

kookie3631, I'm sorry. I was overdue but out of work before my due date, so I didn't have to deal with coworkers. I did get really tired of the text messages from extended family asking whether I'd had the baby yet. Just assume I'll tell you when I do and stop asking!

I'm so sorry kookie3631. Why can't people just keep their mouths shut?! yes. And the random woman in the parking lot who asked me how much longer I had. I looked at her and said “I’m 8 days overdue”. She almost had a horrified look on her face. Like have people never met/seen someone go past their due date before?!?!?

Everytime I call my parents, the first thing they ask is “are you in labor?” Um, no. I called to find out what time your coming up for father’s day lunch mom. Trust me, when I’m in labor, I won’t be the one calling. LOL.

kookie3631 people are the worst. I told my mom yesterday if people don't stop asking like assholes nobody is going to know when we have the baby. People lose all filter regarding pregnant women and need to just shut their traps

So we're at the hospital again, just waiting for blood results. The results from the light weren't good, so it's looking like F and I are going to be here for another night. On the plus side, he gained 30g since yesterday. But I now need to get a better pump since they want me to pump after every feeding since he gets so tired he falls asleep before he gets the good milk. Thank goodness we got a ton of money from the baby shower MIL threw for us.

Okay, so his levels went up, but they're still under the limit, so they're sending us home. We have to go back again in 2 days, and in the meantime he gets fed as much as absolutely possible

DH is at DD's first swim lesson and he's sending me pics and videos while I'm stuck at work. She's having a blast and she looks so proud of herself when she's "swimming". It's so cute I can't stand it!

E is taking epic naps today. I’ve had to wake her twice to eat. I hope the whole sleep begets sleep thing is going to be accurate for tonight.
