Is coming on tonight at 9 pm eastern time on MSNBC for those who care to and can tune in. It's a town hall style show hosted by Joy Reid and Chris Hayes.
There are also some new threads on the Current Events board not about Trump.
Just figured folks might be interested, especially in light of recent discussions here.

Thanks! We binged Dear White People this weekend and I think this might be the perfect time for B to be open to some discussion.

Sherrilyn Ifill’s point that demands for treating black people equally in public space was more than about “hurt feelings” or even fairness, it was about dollars and cents.
For every missed taxi (that won’t stop), is another minute late to a business/fundraising/networking meeting. Every Starbucks intervention is a missed business meeting/term paper written/etc. It was enlightening to me to frame racism in this way too. Being treated unequally in the public space has tangible, dollar and cents effects that add up over time. Of course I know this, but her no nonsense serving of this gave me some more tools for my toolbox.
