Does anyone have experience with this? DD was born with a mild case and it’s getting worse IMO. Every time I bring it up I’m told it’s mild so to just keep an eye on it and reposition her often, lots of tummy time etc. Sometimes I think it’s fine, but then I catch her at a different angle and panic. I don’t want her having a funny shaped head.
Should I be asking for a referral to another care provider that might have more experience with this? I don’t know who that’d even be. I might be overthinking, but I don’t want to be told I missed an important window of time by waiting and seeing if it resolves on it’s own.

I think it's fairly common now that the recommendation is to have them on their back all the time. Em hada decent one because she would always look one way and I didn't know to reposition. We worked on getting her to turn the other way and it worked itself out.
I would probably trust your ped and just keep watching it. I think even if a helmet is needed, as long as it's caught before 6 months it is usually not that big of a deal.

I think I’m a bit more concerned because it’s the top part of her forehead to mid head that’s flat, so I can’t reposition to compensate really. The flat spot at the back DS had a bit so I’m less worried about it this time. cornpop I’ve been meaning to check in and see how everything went with the RPOC. I missed an update if you gave one. Hope it all went well.

Oh yeah that spot makes it more difficult babybean. But I would think it would resolve since the baby isn't laying on that spot? I don't know. That's tough though... And thanks for asking about the rpoc. They did another ultrasound and everything passed thankfully.

Was it from birth? Like the way she came out? If she’s not lying on it I would think it would just get better on its own but if you’re worried because it’s not something you can help resolve by repositioning then I would get a second opinion for sure.
Is it getting better, worse or staying the same?

Is it getting better, worse or staying the same? I noticed it the day she was born but shrugged it off because she was so new, I figured it’d settle on it’s own. The top hasn’t gotten worse, but it’s worse at the back. I reposition as much as I can, but could probably do better.
