I’ve got a baby sprinkle shower today at the same place mine was hosted. I’m looking forward to attending as a guest and enjoying the brunch. H is watching the girls too 🙌🏻
The forecast has been so crappy so we most likely won’t end up going to my camp, which stinks. Hoping to find some plans with the girls tomorrow. I might go to a bbq Monday if the rain holds off.

Hi!
Super busy again today. I am going to get ready for work in a bit. I’m going for about 5 hours because I have a decent amount of stuff to do while there. After work, I will come home for a bit. Then it’s cooking dinner, baths for the tiny ones and bedtime. MH is playing D&D tonight so I get some free time to watch Netflix and do cross stitch. Lol I hope everyone has a great day.

I just pumped hunched over for a half hour and then proceeded to spill a full bottle's worth of fresh breastmilk all over the carpet. We are off to a great start over here....

The baby and I are up. It is supposed to be hot this weekend so not sure what we will do. Both boys are on the mend but still on antibiotics. I kinda want to go to the water park but crowds.

I just went to a big consignment sale with my SIL, and I'm now waiting to do blood work at the clinic.
I got such cute stuff at the sale, and my SIL got all of the things she was looking g for, so I feel like it was a win.

Faith just rolled over from belly to back! She had a great night and has been playing on her play mat, she turned herself around almost twice and scooted off the mat completely. DH put her on her belly and she rolled herself over!

It’s naptime for the girls right now. When they wake up we’ll be going to SIL’s house for pool and dinner. Much excite.
We had our first beach trip of the season yesterday. H slept on me pretty much the entire time in the Tula. I forgot to put sunscreen on my back so I have a Tula-shaped tan/burn line on my back haha. Oops.
The next couple days looks crappy weather-wise so I’m glad we’re able to take advantage of the nice weather we’re having now. DD1 thrives when we can be outside all the time.

My mom defrosted a bag of milk but the baby didn’t drink it. Anyone know how long it’s good for? I remember nothing.

Earlier this week I purchased a "blind" box of used boy clothes on Poshmark. I paid about 45 dollars for over 30 items. I was nervous that I was going to receive junk.
I just received the box and I am very happy with the items. There is a wide range of sizes from 18 months to 3T. A lot of the items are pants in great shape

DD had a sleepover last night at my mom/step-dad's house. The house was so quiet without here last night and today.
They are on their way to our house now and we are having a cook-out with them

LO basically didn't nap all morning. We went to the pool this afternoon and I brought him home early. He will only nap on me today.... i love baby cuddles but I also wanted to be productive.

We had DSs 4th birthday party today. We just had family over, but it was nice. We had too mishaps though, my father-in-law backed into our deck with his car twice, and my moms chair fell partway through the deck and she hurt the arm she broke badly last year. I think she’s okay but she was crying and it made me cry. So needless to say we are tired! Tomorrow we are driving an hour and a half to Maine to stay at a hotel with my mom. DH and I are going out alone tomorrow night for the first time since baby though, so can’t wait.

TTMA bug spray... what are you guys using on the babies? I used the babyganics on DD1 and hated how oily it is. What’s ok to use on them? I just got rocked by mosquitos and am really hoping the baby is fine

I’m prrtty sure the baby just made me bleed by biting my nipple. Holy fuck. She’s been biting me so much lately and it HURTS with her little razor blade teeth!!!

Update on my IUD: I tried to check and all I could feel are strings. I don't particularly like putting my fingers (not hands! I originally wrote hands! Good gracious) up in my vagina (weeks of progesterone suppositories were just wonderful for me...) but I did not feel anything besides the string. DH thinks he was feeling more than that though. I guess maybe I'll see how it goes one more time then maybe call OB for a check if he still feels it.

I just got rocked by mosquitos and am really hoping the baby is fine I am not a crunchy person at all and I eyeroll at most essential oils but lemon eucalyptus oil is actually proven by the CDC to be a great mosquito repellent. I know that doesn't help the oily part but it smells better than most repellents so I don't mind the mess! I don't remember the brand name but I found some at Target. Also the mosquitoes here have been fucking awful. DH and I usually sit out on the porch after the kids go to bed but I have been boycotting it because I am still itching week old mosquito bites. |

It is so hot and miserable here. DH works every day this weekend and I don't feel like dragging all 3 kids anywhere when it is 100 degrees out so there is a lot of movie watching happening this weekend. As soon as DH gets home each day he has been staying in with the baby while I go outside and the girls run around in the sprinkler.

tiffbabey happy birthday to your LO! easternshoregirl oh yay that was me! But lol sorry they broke so fast. The guarantee is definitely nice! We had a huge city day today! We got up early to get in and catch some of our pro football team’s training camp (CFL goes June-November). They play regular season out of a different city a little farther away so it’s fun to take the kids to this for free and get some preseason exposure before loading them all up for a big game haha. Hit up Once Upon a Child and got N a summer wardrobe which was fun! She’s opposite season from my other two and I’ve been able to make do until now when all I had was long sleeved onesies and pants for the size she’s growing into so that wasn’t going to work haha, it’s already been a hot spring for us. Went to the mall and ran a few more errands, I got a dress for a wedding next month and their baptisms in August so that’s fun for me! They did so good trucking along with us everywhere to do all these little things that had been adding up that we stopped for ice cream before leaving to go back home.

Re bug spray you could also mix peppermint oil and water. My brother in law swears by it. We get our yard sprayed so I haven’t tried it myself. We went to a train theme park yesterday and DD1 was so excited. It was adorable. This was her on the way home holding her map.  |
