Daycare is closed today so I have the boys all day. Is it sad I'm dreading it?
We are painting our garage this weekend so I have to make sure we're have everything for that.
Usually MIL would be up for a visit from the kids today but she's freaking out ay how behind she is on her to do list so I guess we'll stay away.

It’s supposed to be high 80’s today and sunny soooo we are going to the beach!!! I can’t wait. We’ve been to the lake a couple times so far but this will be the first legit beach day of the year. DD1 LOVES the beach so it should be a pretty good day. My sister is going to come with us too. It’s an hour away so hopefully it’s not an awful car ride with dd2. She’s generally pretty good in the car these days but she does freak out every once in a while 🤞🏻

DS1s epic fever finally broke after 6 days so things are looking up. He needs to lay low for another 48 hours per Dr orders and I’m honestly not interested in visiting any germ friendly places after stomach bug into mystery virus 2 weeks so we are going to take it easy all weekend.
Baby is very distracted at feedings already. Not easy with other kids that are constantly yelling mom.

Hi! I am here. Baby is being a pain in the ass. He won’t nap. He is tired but won’t sleep. It’s annoying af. G is bugging me to go outside to use her water table but I don’t feel like setting it up right now. She is currently amused by Darius Rucker on tv seeing some county song. She has her bitty baby clapping along. Lol.

Morning! We have a friend coming over for supper and board games tonight so I have a little bit of easy prep for that to do. I also needed to get new string lights for our fire table patio so we got the clips hung last night so I’ll string the lights today. It’s my favourite part to sit in our backyard in the summer! I gave N her first ponytail yesterday, lol! She looks so cute I’m probably going to do it all the time. She has short hair except for this long tuft on the top that always sticking straight up even without an elastic anyway haha!  Hope everyone down south enjoys their long weekend! |

The baby finally fell asleep. His has been up since 6:40! G is watching Nightmare before Christmas. This is the first break I have gotten all day. Only 10 hours or so until MH gets home. 🙄

Work is on early release today at 3:00 as long as our client deliverables are met. I worked an extra 3 hours last night to get caught up so I could leave early. *shrug* My workload is about to kill me, I have 2-3 times the work of most of my coworkers (we do the exact same thing and have the same skill sets) and it pisses me off that they barely have enough to keep them busy and I'm over here busting my but and putting in unpaid overtime to keep up.
We have no real plans this weekend. DH starts work on Tuesday and his parents are coming into town next week for a golf tournament. They are staying at a hotel but we will see them most days, especially since we have Faith. There are a few projects around the house that I would like to get done, but nothing that can't wait until later in the summer if we don't do it.

We are having DSs fourth birthday party at our house tomorrow. The in-laws are coming over shortly to help me clean and get ready for it. I have a cold and the baby is super fussy, so there is no way I could have gotten much done on my own.
Sunday we are driving to Maine and staying in a hotel with my mom and her SO. The weather is supposed to suck but there is an indoor pool so at least there that. DS is super excited about it, and Sunday is his actual birthday.

The baby’s nap lasted only 40 minutes. 😑 that means he has only slept 40 minutes in the last 4 1/2 hours and he probably won’t nap again until around 1. My poor sanity today.

Happy FriYAY and long weekend! It is supposed to be in the high 80s and 90s this weekend. This is the opening weekend for most beaches so we’ll be there along with half the population in my state 😳. DD1 is dying to go to the beach so I promised we’d take her this weekend.
What is everyone’s must haves for baby at the beach? I am buying one of those play yards with a canopy from a local B/S/T group so I was thinking I’d take that for shade. What else?

Ds2 took forever to fall asleep last night marygracerich. He was up from 5:30-10:30 with maybe a 20 minute nap in there. I was exhausted and ready for bed. We’re doing a late mother’s day at my parents this weekend with my grandmas so tonight is getting the stuff together for that. And I think I’m going to get out deck chairs and have some beers because it’s gorgeous out. |

Hey there! It's so hard to keep up but I wanted to say hi! MH and I are going out to see a movie tonight! Woo! I'm thrilled to have a 3 day weekend ahead. LO has had sleep regression but it's gotten a little better the last night or two. I tried to take him out of the RnP and put him right back in after a night of waking every 2 hours! Here's a pic of DS2 since I've missed several HDBDs.  |

👋🏻 Sorry I've been in and out. Last week of leave... Actually today is technically my last day  Tomorrow I'm going out to a Bachelorette party! I'll get the chance to try my pumping bra and car pumping. I'm so excited to drink wine basically all day. Sunday is MHs 30th bday except that I'm the worst party planner ever. 🤷♀️ he can go jump out of an ✈️ 🤣 (No really, thats his birthday present, he's going to be so excited). Plus I need to clean up, bake mh cake and cookies for a family thing Monday... And finish my hw I've been putting off. 🤦🏼♀️ |

I have always felt like I wanted a 4th kid but I have been second guessing myself in the last day or two. I am scared with 3 girls close in age, one may always feel left out. We are definitely not in the position to have another though so I feel so torn. I just got my first PP period so I am terrified of a whoopsie baby again 🙈🙈 I don't think I feel definitively done enough for H to have a vasectomy yet though.

I busted out the swaddle and L took a 2.5 hour nap earlier. He’s been sleeping epically ever since. F it, I am going to continue to swaddle, I was just getting nervous about the approaching summer and no AC. I guess we will just deal with it then.
ETA: we’re not ready for no swaddle, don’t fall into the trap. Lol

My kid has also pooped more in past 2 days than he has all last month so who knows if its contributing to the good sleep.

👋🏻 morning!
Figures I got about 3-4 hrs of broken sleep. I've been up since 4 holding /rocking DD2. Need to make breakfast and shower and look nice and all by 8 so I can head out!
I am so ready for a mom day. My H is terrified about what to do with the two of them by himself. I said 🤷♀️ I did it for 7 weeks (time between his leaves) so get over it! 🤣
