Age: 3.5
Milestones: Nothing new
Challenges: PTing (of course), and moving prep (he doesn't get it)
Funny/cute stories: He's obsessed with the "mad" song from Daniel Tiger. He and I were driving home from the store a few days ago, and someone cut me off on the interstate. I muttered "you jerk" and DS2 said, "you mad, mom? I know what to do!" and then sang me the song. It cracked me up, so he's been singing it ever since.
How are you? Like I said in the other thread, freaking out about moving. I'm excited but also nervous/scared about all the big changes coming up.
Anything else? Does anyone have any good resources for explaining moving to little kids? DS1 is big enough that he understands, and the last time we had a move, DS1 was a baby so it didn't really affect him much.
QOTW: We're going to hang out at my parents' house with my oldest brother's family. I'm excited to get some horse time in!

Age: 3
Milestones:
Challenges: he is so active and busy just being a kid, I can hardly keep up. He is having an allergy flare up so no one in the house has been sleeping. We like to have the windows open, but it makes it even worse for him so we have the air on. I need to buy an air purifier.
Funny/cute stories:
How are you? Hot, we are having a heat wave. I need to get a pool or sprinkler for the backyard soon.
Anything else?
QOTW: Any plans for Memorial Day weekend? One family obligation that involves a long car ride and I’m very worried about my back, but I’m going to try and suck it up. Hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Age: 2 3/4
Milestones: She's mostly come out of her recent clingy stage.
Challenges: We're going cold turkey for potty training tomorrow. She's been dry at night for months, has cast iron bladder control (holds it in the swimming pool for over an hour whilst drinking half the pool) and refuses point blank to sit on the potty. She seems to have decided that it's impossible to go except in a nappy, and unfortunately she gets her stubborness from me. So tomorrow there will be no nappies, there will be sitting directly on the toilet (with seat) and we're staying at home. Wish me luck.
Funny/cute stories: Her imagination is really taking off. I love listening to her playing.
How are you? Better than last week. Apprehensive about tomorrow, but I really think we have to try this.
Anything else?
QOTW: Any plans for Memorial Day weekend?
Memorial Sunday is the closest Sunday to November 11th over here, and it isn't a long weekend. We do have a busy weekend this week. H's orchestra have their concert on Saturday evening so he'll be out from 2 o'clock till about 11. On Sunday evening I have the final rehearsal of Much Ado About Nothing before the show opens next Wednesday.

Age: 15 months
Milestones: More words, or attempts at words. He's also very interested in books recently, which is fun. We've been 'reading' a lot.
Challenges: Tantrums, not horrible ones, but we're entering that phase where he wants to communicate and no one has any damn clue what he's actually saying LOL
Funny/cute stories: He loves being outside. So much so that he kisses the sliding door and says, "Oot" (out) over and over and over and...
How are you? Okay. Trying to balance my house with helping my parents. It's been a struggle. FX it settles as she starts to feel better.
QOTW: Not really. I'm going to my parents' house Sunday to help my mom and MH is taking the kids to a cookout. Other than that, we need to tame our jungle of a yard.
