These pics are from breakfast this weekend. DHs mom sent DD1 some necklaces that she had to show off. XP from Facebook.

Sorry I haven’t been around much. Juggling work and kids has made my life crazy busy! I’m reading and keeping up with you guys, just not finding the time to post. Three months already!

Faith went to daycare for about 2 1/2 hours yesterday while DH went to do some onboarding/training for his new job. He officially starts Tuesday and then she will go full time. I was more nervous than I expected to have her go, up until the night before I was easy breezy about day care then I got nervous that she would be scared or they wouldn't know how to comfort her. She did great for her first time there, but I had to laugh that they said she "enjoyed tummy time" because she usually hates it. lol Faith will be four months old tomorrow, it just doesn't seem possible. I've been doing dream feeds for almost a week now around midnight and our sleep has improved dramatically. She now only wakes up one time to eat and then maybe one other time for a pacifier. Last night she ate 4 oz at midnight and then 4 oz at 4:00am. We've been trying to increase her formula to try to spread out her feeding schedule but so far no real luck. When she doesn't nurse she is still 3-4 oz every 2.5-3 hours. I feel like she should be eating more and less often, but maybe I'm wrong? I weighed her on our bathroom scale (with diaper and sleeper) and it was 12 pounds exactly and that puts her in the 10th percentile for weight and gives her a pretty flat growth curve, but it is consistent with her growth so far (she gains about 1 pound a month give or take a few ounces). I'm a little concerned but she is mostly a happy baby, she is super strong and can consistently support her body weight with her legs with minimal assistance, keeps her head steady when she is pulled up by her hands, etc. I've googled signs of reflux and I don't think that is the issue. She sometimes fights the bottle but it isn't consistent and the only symptom she has other than hiccups and poor sleep.

aprilz81, DD2 will be 5 months in 4 days and she is the exact same. We are still doing the same # oz for her as we were at 1 month. She takes 4 oz every 3 or 4 hours. Before bed we give her 6 oz which she doesn't always finish and she is still up at least once. I am not sure how to make her spread out her bottles and feed more in each one. I feel like DD1 naturally went longer between bottles when we upped her oz. but even if we do a bigger bottle during the day with DD2 she will still only go 3 or 4 hours.

4 months here today! We are struggling with some weight gain and respiratory issues but otherwise all is well. This is what happens whenever I lay her down on her play mat 😂🙄

yes 😩 N was an early teether but not this early! She had 4 teeth between 4-5 months. MH and I were both early teether too, as were all our siblings so we were expecting it I guess!

We have officially arrived at the distracted nursing phase. Ugh. She pops off my boob at the smallest noise. So that’s fun.
She also is at the stage where she attacks and eats my face when I put my cheek up against hers. I freaking love it when babies do that 😍

Hello! Last week was crazy busy. MH’s sister and her boyfriend were in town for a week. I think we had like 4 outings with my IL’s in one week and all were completely disastrous. 😳 So, I needed some time to unwind and collect myself. DD2 is 3 months, will be 4 on the 12th. I don’t know how this is even possible! Time is flying. I just got this pic sent to me from daycare. She’s one happy baby! I could nom on her cheeks all day! And, one of both girls. DD1 is 4.5. She graduates from preschool in 2 weeks. I’m not ready 😢

I’m slacking on the sister pictures this week. But here is baby at 4.25 months 😊 She always clasps her hands when she’s doing tummy time and it’s stupid cute. She rolled back to belly for the first time today. I missed it but I know I left her on her back! Sounds like we’re not the only ones with weight gain issues. Arden hasn’t gained anything since last Monday (lost an ounce if anything) so they’ve asked me to somehow get her to eat an extra time during the day, and come back for weekly weight checks until she maintains a curve. I finally freaking get a good sleeper and napper and I can’t even enjoy it. 🙄🙄🙄 She’s still pooping green and her eczema is flaring, and she spits up all the time, but nobody seems convinced it’s a food issue since we haven’t seen any improvement with 3.5 weeks dairy free and 1.5 soy and egg free. I dunno. Just going to keep trucking along.

I haven’t looked at the BST page, but the Tea website is having a 25% off Memorial Day sale and it worked on sale items I just picked up. Just FYI.

I saw I saw some adorable bubbles for baby but I am trying to stay strong. I bought a blue rainbow bubble from HA a few weeks ago at pretty much full price and said that was it. Until I bought a sweater for fall from a lady shopping at Rack today. Gah I have no willpower!

Question RE: breastfed babies...how many oz is your baby taking while at daycare? C was taking 5 oz every 3 hours. We recently switched to a daycare center (remember my drama??) and the teacher told me yesterday that she thinks he is ready to be bumped up to 6 oz feedings. With DS1 we never fed more than 5 oz at a time. I think she is over feeding because I mentioned paced bottle feeding and she didn't know what I was talking about. So I explained it...I don't want to tell her how to do her job but isn't 6 oz per feeding a bit much? Also- I should mention that he eats 5x per day (3 bottles then 1 nursing session in the morning around 6 and at night around 7). I am overproducing still so it's not like I am pumping less than 5 oz at a time and I have quite a stash of over 1,000 oz built up, so it's not that I don't have enough. I just don't want him over eating on bottles and not nursing like the normally does.
Thoughts?

Hi! I am here. I just have been crazy busy lately. I have a few minutes to post now because G is watching the Lion King and I am watching the baby try to roll back to belly. The dr told me to put him on his back as little as possible but he has learned to roll from tummy to back so as soon as I flip him, he flips back over. Lol. All of this repositioning is helping though. Not only has he learned to roll from belly to back but his core strength and head strength have improved so much. He can almost sit unsupported already. 😮 He is getting a bath in a half hour or so and then hopefully a bottle and bed.

stephne we don’t do bottles but at the two weighed feedings we’ve done recently she transferred 3.25oz and 4.5oz and they were pleased with that. 6 seems crazy to me, but on the flip side we’re not gaining weight so...
