We forgot about dinner again tonight. I don't want to order out more than once a week, but it's been so crazy I think we'll get pizza.

Driving back from our weekend away. We had great weather, DD loved all the outdoor play areas and really a great area, we will be back.
Got a call on Friday from the recruiter I’ve been dealing with, I’ll be getting an offer in the next few days. I have some feels about working full days and DD going to daycare.

Another soccer game yesterday, another loss. There's no wonder why I'm overhearing a lot of moms saying their kids weren't really wanting to come. Maybe because losing every game sucks? Our season this spring is an exact showcase of how they've been coached. She has just not been in it this spring, showing up late to practices or just ghosting us completely for 1/2 hour showing up late sending no message & not apologizing, not having proactive practices when she is there. It's been a mess. We're done. We have one more game next Saturday but we've decided to not go. We're not gonna be qualified to go to the spring classic even if we win (& we're playing the #1 team in the division that has no losses so that's not gonna happen) so practices & games have honestly just been a waste of time especially with a coach that is putting her team on the bottom of her priority list.

My son’s dance recital was on Friday and it was so cute. He did great and got his three year certificate at the end of the recital. I was a little bummed they read the names for the five and ten years but not for the three years. The kids didn’t seem to care though.
Dance is over for him until the fall. The summer session (one class a week for four weeks) would interfere with his swim lessons. Which is fine because we would have to buy him tap shoes for that class and I don’t want to spend the money on them if he decides to do jazz/ballet again in the fall.

NamasteBirches that sounds so frustrating. I don’t blame you for being done.

So parents weren't allowed on the field trip today but teachers were allowed to bring their kids & own parents along. Makes sense. That is so freakin' stupid.

NamasteBirches that's frustrating. She's only hurting the kids by flaking every time. No wonder they aren't wanting to play the last game.

We had a good weekend. Nothing grand but it was nice to just relax. It was 95 yesterday so we didn't grill like we originally planned. No thank you to July heat in May.
