AF is due today. I won't test again, if I couldnt turn a frer yesterday, I'm not going to turn a wondfo today and I won't waste another frer. Maybe a wondfo tomorrow, if AF doesn't appear.

sammysam you get nauseous and bloated before O? I usually don’t but I feel like hell today, have since last night. I hope it’s just some O symptoms that I’ve never experienced before. It's newish for me. The past few months this has been a thing. I've always been nauseous around O and AF but the bloating is new. At least it gives me a good idea it's coming. I knew my reading would be high even before I tested (a regular OPK would still give an undeniable negative at this point bit the monitor picks up the estrogen surge and O am super sensitive to hormone changes in my body). Anyways, hoping it's O for you too soon:)

Radley The blue dye tests aren't as sensitive as the pink line. I'm still so hopeful for you!

Thanks guys. I only had the one FRER, so I tried the blue dye today. But I picked up a 2 pack of FRER this time and will test again later.

I feel like I’ve been so absent lately. Busy I guess? I have been lurking and reading, I swear.
Just sitting waiting for IUI #3. Will update more later today.
Love to all ❤️

Month/Cycle: 21/4AL
Timing: -4, -2, -1, O (x2), +1 <---tentative
CD/DPO: 16/0
Symptoms: Less EWCM this cycle, wonky temps... in general it's been a weird cycle.
RRCS: I'm frustrated. This is IUI #3 and I feel like we keep messing up the timing. I've been thinking about it, and talking to H, and -at the moment- I'm thinking we might take a tiny step backwards and just do Femara or Clomid and TI as opposed to IUI. I mean, we did get pregnant on our own on cycle 14... I truly believe that if we just continued without any help that we would eventually get pregnant it's just that we don't want to wait another year or two or three. At the same time I'm also thinking we might look into IVF come this fall for financial reasons. Our insurance will cover fertility treatments up to $20k (plus $5k for meds) AFTER we meet our deductibles. So we are basically paying for all of this OOP currently, it makes sense to try IVF this calendar year since it will cost us less in the long run. At the same time, we'll have to pay that money towards the deductibles no matter if we continue with IUIs or IVF so why not just keep trying IUI (and not just TI). Ugh, none of this is easy.
Oy. That's where I am. On the other hand, even though I feel like our trigger/IUI timing was "off" this cycle I'm still hopeful. I've been trying to be more positive about this journey and life in general, so there's also that.

Month/Cycle: 17/17
Timing: STILL WAITING TO FREAKING O. WTH.
CD/DPO: CD20
Symptoms: Definitely having PMS-like symptoms this week but AF isn't due til the 31st so I'm not reading anything into it.
RRCS: I do not know what's up with this cycle. O should have happened CD14 or 15 and yet I sit here, waiting, waiting, waiting. I have some open circles on my chart this month, I haven't been as consistent as I should, but in the past, pre-O temps have always been below 98 and post O temps above 98. My temp has been hovering around 97.2-97.5. I live in Florida, so it's not like there's cold weather affecting my temps. I even changed batteries on my BBT the other day (after 17 months I figured it might be due for fresh batteries). Definitely had O-like symptoms around CD15. I see a pattern that looks like O on CD18-19, but again, my temp has ALWAYS gone above 98 post-O and it's not there now. It's strange. My chart is in my signature if anyone wants to look but don't feel obligated.

Yogurt, sorry for the BFNs, but I've got FX that AF stays away this month and you get a BFP and a sticky baby!! Radley, I'm excited for you on the FRER!! I saw the line there too! blue dye tests are so unreliable, FX the FRERs you got today give you a BFP! Sorry for everyone who's having a rough time this month. Thinking of you all <3

radiantfate would Sunday/Monday count as O? Just based on a temp dip then rise, and ignoring the absolute number? FWIW, I changed my FF to only base O on OPKs. My temps are all sorts of wonky. I'm the anti-temp temper.

I'm the anti-temp temper. Yeah, if I'm basing it off the pattern and not the temp, it looks like O was sometime between Sunday/Monday. We shall see if my temp stays high. I'll be sad though if it was because that'll mean we missed the FW. I stopped using OPKs but I'm thinking about maybe giving the CBE a go again next cycle.

charliefox What was it about the timing of your trigger that you didn't like this cycle? I don't know much about all of this yet but hopefully it was better than you thought. Also I think the IVF makes total sense financially. Part of me wants to go straight there just because I figure it probably has a higher success rate. But I've also read some of the risks that can be associated with it which have me freaked out. If it weren't for our ages I'd say we'd just keep doing what we're doing until it works out. But age is the big factor for us right now. We don't really have the luxury of time:/

radiantfate OPKs give me a bit of piece of mind. Plus I figure they don't hurt. I'm only on mobile so can't see your chart...otherwise I would totally chart stalk for you.

RE confirms that I have not ovulated yet. No u/s today so I didn’t get a new follicle measurement. Finally got a positive OPK though so I’m very hopeful this nausea will end soon. Radley any updates?

AF is supposed to start this weekend, and I am just avoiding coming in here to chat because I know you’re all going to tell me to pee on something but I don’t think I can handle it right now.
I THINK I’m about 12 dpo, but I am just not ready for another BFN, ya know?

charliefox I hate the money issue of all of this. I mean, obviously we have to pay for things, but it’s just hard to have money factor into these big life decisions.

Much sympathy to everyone who is finding this month hard work. This whole process feels like a punishment.
A couple of people asked when I'm going to test again. If it gets to Monday and AF isn't here then I'll have to, but I hope CD1 comes before then and I don't have to. I don't feel pregnant at all. Occasional mild cramps and swelling boobs are my normal premenstrual symptoms. And there's an element of fear which I know you'll understand, because this time last year I didn't feel pregnant but I was, only it was never a viable pregnancy and it was always inevitable that we'd lose the twins. So if it's going to be like that I don't want to be pregnant. If I felt pregnant (the way I did on Monday night before my BFN) maybe I wouldn't be so gloomy.

I'm sorry Radley. Lots of hugs purple. I want more graduates here. Come on, eggs! Go meet some sperm! It is fun! You'll like it! I've been having mild asthma symptoms all week that aren't responding to fast action inhalers and am getting scared that a full-blown attack is imminent. So I'm waiting for a callback from pulmonology on what to do. I'm sure the answer will be steroids, but those always mess with my (already wonky) cycle so I'm praying they have another plan for me.

CD1. I'm at work and just want to cry. I mean, I knew I wasn't pregnant but it just gets harder every month.

Yogurt Yeah, looking at my chart after this morning, I'm leaning toward day 18. FF hasn't confirmed O but day 18 wouldn't surprise me. Sucks, because that means our timing was off. Boo. sammysam Yeah, OPKs give me peace of mind too. I was kind of trying to "chill out" for a few months since we were pretty TTC obsessed for awhile, but I know when I was TTC my daughter, OPKs really helped. Gonna go back to them next month. Radley and remi I'm so sorry
