Age: 3 Milestones: Challenges: he’s extra clingy all the sudden and I am not in the mood to be touched a whole lot but he’s got to be next to me or on me and I feel bad asking him to back up, but I also think it’s probably a good way to set some boundaries. He doesn’t eat hardly anything. Basically eats the same 5 foods everyday and none of them are all that nutritious. Funny/cute stories: How are you? I dropped him off at class today and he was sobbing so that was difficult but I know he will have a good time there so I left him there crying after a long goodbye. Anything else? Any advice of getting your kids to stop saying “naughty” words? He heard and learned the word stupid and thinks it’s so funny to say at the worst times. We’ve tried not reacting, time outs, etc and it does go away for awhile then he starts it up again. QOTW: Just based on your little one's personality and interests now, what do you think s/he will grow up to be? (And this can be done with babies; at 6 months old, I would have told you my son was going to be someone's pet rock. ) Ha this kid is so rigid so maybe an accountant no offense to accountants. He also likes to connect with others so maybe a nurse, I think he’d have great bedside manner.

Then Little Miss demanded they take pictures with her as well. That is so cute!

enchanted I have not tried that yet so it’s definitely worth a shot.

Age: 3
Milestones: More verbal/imaginative stuff
Challenges: I'm pretty sure he's going to go to college in Depends. We're back to the "miralax cleanse" routine.
Funny/cute stories: He is OBSESSED with my dad and insists on calling him almost daily lately. Then he tells his Bobba every.little.detail of his life. It's a good thing my dad is mostly retired now!
How are you? Pitiful. I strained my ankle over the weekend. It was so bad I actually went in for x-rays and ended up on crutches for a few days. Of course it was when H was out of town for work. He's back now and I'm walking again, but it's still sore and I'm still whiny. It has not been my year so far!
Anything else? He's either going to be a con artist or a doctor. I don't think there's anything in between for him. He's so smart and so manipulative (usually in a good way...).

Age: 1 1/2 Milestones: lots of new words, she has to have 2 of everything, she can point out the number 2 on things and know when she has two of something Challenges: Daycare started this week 2 days so far- she cried hysterically when I dropped her off, last night she was so tired when she got home because she barely napped, today she had a good nap there but she cried hysterically at dinner when put in her chair she had to eat dinner in my lap. They tell me she gets settled after a while and does fine the rest of the day Funny/cute stories: Daycare sent me a cute picture of her playing with a girl in her class. How are you? so tired, emotionally and physically, this transition from nanny to daycare is going to be rough for awhile. Anything else? nope QOTW: Just based on your little one's personality and interests now, what do you think s/he will grow up to be? Vet she loves our cats and knows most animal sounds. Or a musician she loves music. Read more: howeverithappened.proboards.com/thread/15532/infant-toddler-preschooler-check-16#ixzz5FipmAcQW

Age: 2 3/4
Milestones: She's got her confidence back and is really enjoying preschool and the childminder again.
Challenges: She's got a bug this week. So no childminder yesterday. Hoping she's better in time for H's fortieth on Saturday.
Funny/cute stories: Yesterday, when she wanted more cuddles, she threw her arms around me and said, "I look after you, Mummy!"
How are you? I'm struggling. This is the worst time of year for depression and grieving. Two years ago last Saturday it was confirmed that we were losing Gracie Wren. A year ago last Saturday I had a surprise BFP for the twins, and since we lost them too that date is a double whammy now. Two years ago yesterday I heamorrhaged and had to have emergency surgery to save my life. I feel as though I'm swimming through glue this week. And poor L is very clingy and needy because of this bug, and of course she couldn't go to the childminder yesterday so I didn't get my usual self care day. I'm basically struggling not to cry all the time at the moment.
Anything else? Very minor in the grand scheme of things, but I'm getting stressed about finding time to wrap H's birthday presents.
QOTW: Just based on your little one's personality and interests now, what do you think s/he will grow up to be? Possibly an academic. She's very good at counting and is beginning to put letter sounds together to make words (entirely under her own steam. We support and encourage, but learning to read so young is not our idea!) She's also very thoughtful. I've discovered from other people's comments that most two-year-olds don't spend time lying on the floor thinking!
Otherwise, she might be a musician, or an engineer like Daddy.

I know I'm late... whatever LOL
Age: 15 months
Milestones: All the words and all the talking and all the screeching. He's so loud right now LOL
Challenges: Did I mention loud? And he's definitely got the 2nd kid jealousy. He wants everything my DD has and will SCREAM to let you know about it.
Funny/cute stories: Unbeknownst to C, I was watching him try to get water out of the fridge door. He grabbed a plastic cup and tried to get water. It was adorable. He eventually became frustrated, threw the cup, and moved on LOL
How are you? I'm not great. Long story short, my mom is really sick. We found out last week it's cancer of some kind, 99% sure it's upper GI, but we won't know until this week or next. We have a bad history with cancer on that side of the family, so it's not looking great. I'm... not well, but functioning. Well, as best as I can anyway.
Anything else? Just catching up at work. I was gone almost all week last week to help with my mom's surgery and recovery. It'll be nice to get some routine back.
QOTW: A soccer referee. He runs quickly and likes to yell. He also has an affinity for whistles LOL
