How are you feeling fatpony? Love the pics robot! Just hanging in there right now. Baby is doing well but we just need to figure out best ways to get through nights.

Ha, yeah the last month is so tough. I had all intentions of cherishing it because it was my last pregnancy. I definitely was not cherishing it middle of the night with aches and pains or kicks.

Went to an engagement party last night. I wore strappy sandals that turned out to be a huge mistake. MH had to basically pry them off my sausage feet by the end of the night 😬

I forgot how tired nursing makes everyone. I feel like I'm falling asleep all the time. Omg the first week I was literally falling asleep every time I nursed. All that oxytocin Last time, at least, I was one of the lucky few who got tired AND nauseated from the oxytocin! Each and every let down for the first month or two left me feeling like I had to puke. Bodies are weird, man.

I’ve been awake since 3. Convinced my self that my backache was early labor. So, I got out of bed at 4 and have been organizing, cleaning, dyed my hair and showered. Not quite sure how I’ll work until 9 o’clock tonight.

You know you're just a few days PP when you get wayyyy too excited to find an extra bag of the super soft hospital wipes, an extra peri bottle and another bottle of Dermaplast that your H failed to mention he put in a random bathroom cabinet.
I was just about out of all these things and going to place an Amazon order. This made my entire day. 😂

fatpony I hope you are more comfortable soon and that your BP and everything stay steady. I hated that feeling of work looming that last stretch I worked, and I didn't even have the issues you are having. Positive vibes to you!

39+6. I’m not even on the schedule for work but I’m here. I will not waste maternity leave. I’m walking laps around the unit until my appointment at 230.

I am ravenous constantly. I'm sure it's the breastfeeding, but I don't remember it being this intense from last time. This baby is a much better eater than V, though, so maybe that's why.

4cm 80%. Made an appt for Thursday to discuss induction if necessary. She said I could schedule as elective for Friday if wanted at this point. I’m not really sure what to do. I guess just wait and see? DDs birthday is next Saturday so I just really want to be home for that.

I had my 36 week appointment last week. I am so swollen, my OB says I need to rest more. I wanted to laugh. We are in the process of switching rooms. DH put together all the nursery furniture, so even though the room isn't completely cleaned out, she has a crib and a changing table DD1 had her 7th birthday party this weekend, luckily it was super small---only her closest friends were invited.Because of it being small, and low key, it was not expensive. So, we then took DD out to a fancy steakhouse last night since her favorite food is steak. But I am completely exhausted. I tried to nap today but the dog kept me up.

Today was my first day home with Harper without DH. Pumping and feeding is so time consuming. Not to mention the leaking. I got up this morning and thought I had time to pump before Harper woke up. Nope. So of course I had to feed her and both of my boobs are leaking through my shirt. It was a ridiculous funny sight.

I have at least one pump/feed session a day that is me in the recliner, butterflied legged, with Audrey's head resting on my feet and my pump bottles propped up by the inside of my knees while I feed her.

Scheduled my induction for that Friday and went into active labor and had L the next day. It's science.

I need to do that. It's the first morning pump when I've gone almost 4 hrs without pumping, plus I just get a ton of milk then anyway. Are you exclusively pumping, too? I keep trying to get a latch with Harper at least once a day, but she's still so little. On the plus side, my freezer is so full of milk.

Of course then I heard about milk savers months later.

ajm, yep. I still attempt latching regularly, but nope. She did great in the hospital with latching, but stopped as soon as we got home. But this is how at least one pump session goes. Just occasionally with a bottle instead of a pacifier.
