The Trying to Conceive After a Loss thread is posted once a week (generally on Tuesday) for those of us who have unfortunately experienced a loss. No matter what type of loss you've experienced, from miscarriage to stillbirth to the loss of a child, it is heartbreaking. This thread is to help us commiserate, get support, and to try to navigate trying to conceive, after a loss, every week.
Out of respect to all the ladies here, please add a trigger warning if you decide to talk about any living children and please hide your signature if it contains pictures or tickers of babies or children. We also kindly ask for grads to refrain from commenting in this thread.
If you get a BFP, kindly either spoiler alert it or do not post it here at all.
**If this is your first check-in, and you would like to provide a gtky loss history intro go for it. If not, no worries!**
How are you doing?

How are you doing? Needing to vent.
Status (TTA, TTC, Benched): TTC
Diagnosis (if applicable): NA
Updates/questions: RE appointment set for July 12th
Debbie downer (a place to vent ) : I'm feeling like we lucked out with our loss pregnancy and that it just isn't going to happen for us again. I'm trying to decide how I'm feeling about everything. I don't know if I feel like I'm done or not. I think we can still fit in 3 cycles before our RE appointment and I will likely still go to the appointment to hear what they have to say but I'm also feeling like I might be done at that point. I gained about 10 lbs during my loss pregnancy and then being so sad after, I gained even more. And the loss caused me to stop BFing as well so all of that contributed to me gaining weight. It's like a constant reminder that I should have a baby right now. Getting rid of this weight will help my mental health and maybe make me feel a bit clearer about what I want to do going forward. Vent over.

sammysam I’m so sorry. That sounds incredibly confusing and difficult. I’ll be hoping you can come to a decision that will bring you peace. Maybe the RE can give you some answers but don’t feel like you have to go if you don’t want to.
