My brother is getting married in October and I'm helping throw the bridal shower for he and my FSIL in August. We are only going to do one game because I hate games at showers.
What are the best shower games you've played? I need ideas.

I think the one where you ask the groom questions beforehand and then ask the bride them at the shower and see how she does is always fun. Assuming the bride isn’t shy.

Or, if it’s a joint shower (I just read your post a little closer) you could do some variation where you ask them both things.
Another fun one I’ve done at a joint shower is the hosts blew up some funny pictures of the couple’s faces and we played Pictionary, but with the couple’s faces as props. It was hysterical.

thanks robot - to clarify, my brother will be the only man there it's a thing with our extended family showers, the groom comes, especially since they are both traveling out of town (and my poor FSIL doesn't know any of my mom's crazy relatives!).

larzhope, we don’t do bridal shower back In France but one game that is really fun at weddings is the Me/her/him. You give the groom a written double sided ‘stand’ with Me/Her on each side and the bride has Me/Him on hers. Then you sit them back to back and you ask them questions like who fell in love first, who farts in bed, who says I love you the most, and anything you want. It is always a big hit at weddings and I could see it play well for a shower !
