Age: 15 months tomorrow! Milestones: More teeth this week. Challenges: Ditching the bottle. He'll take a sippy in the morning and during the day, but at night it's bottle only. And MH has not gotten on board with getting rid of it, and he's mainly the one putting C to bed. Sigh... I know we'll get a slap on the wrist from the pedi when we go at the end of the month. Funny/cute stories: We attended my daughter's dance recital on Saturday and every time the crowd clapped, C laughed SO LOUD and shrieked with joy. We had multiple people come up to us and say how cute and well-behaved C was during the recital. He is just so happy 99% of the time! How are you? I'm getting over a stomach virus, so that about sums it up. Anything else? My mom is having surgery next Tuesday and it's supposed to fix all the issues she's been having. It's a big surgery and I'm pretty nervous about it. Keep us in your thoughts please QOTW: OMG he stops in his tracks for Elmo. Of course it's Elmo. I'd pick Abby - she's fun.

Age: 3
Milestones: We've made a bit of PT progress. He accidentally pooped on the potty a few days ago. He's still not ready to talk about it.
Challenges: He has attitude for days lately.
Funny/cute stories: I took him to the aquarium yesterday, and it was the first time he really *got* it. It was pretty cute watching him run around and check everything out. He even touched several of the animals in the touch pool.
How are you? I'm really whiny. Like, really really whiny. My thumb I attempted to cut off hurts, and it's so awkward having it all bandaged up. (For those that missed it, I cut it slicing potatoes yesterday and had to go to the ER because I couldn't get it to stop bleeding.) Fortunately they were able to glue it shut instead of stitches, but they had to splint it to get the cut to stay shut.
QOTW: He's not a big SS fan, actually. When he does watch it, he's obsessed with Mr Noodle's stupidity. NO MR NOODLE, NO! DARN IT, MR NOODLE! I like Chris too.

oldbaylover1024 hope your mom’s surgery goes well! hawkward hope your thumb heals, sounds very painful! Age: 3 Milestones: Challenges: he’s just one big bruise lately, he took a crash on his scooter while my H and I were right there and his chin is all black and blue and looks terrible. He’s otherwise fine. His pain tolerance is unreal to me. He just gets up cries for a moment then goes back to tearing it up. Funny/cute stories: he’s all about his dad these days, it’s quite cute and I’m not bothered by it. How are you? Loving our spring weather, cannot complain about much at the moment, feels good to be back home. Vacations always make me appreciate my home state and house. Anything else? QOTW: Who would your child choose as the best character on Sesame Street? What about you? He’s past his Sesame Street phase, but when he was in deep he loved Elmo. I have a soft spot for big bird.

Age: 1 1/2
Milestones: E had her first day of day care "school" today
Challenges: We normally rock her to sleep and now we need to get out of that habit so she can nap at school
Funny/cute stories: She repeats almost every work you say. She has Mickey & Minnie little people and now she makes them kiss it's so funny I don't know where she got that from.
How are you? Less anxious now that her first day is over and it went mostly well.
Anything else? nope
QOTW: Who would your child choose as the best character on Sesame Street? What about you? I personally like Elmo. I don't think E watches Sesame street.

Age: 2.5
Milestones: Mostly potty trained. He had a bunch of accidents at daycare last week but fine this week and at home (even overnight!). Not sure what's going on.
Challenges: Still potty training. I am still nervous because he seems to go through phases of forgetting. Also, normal toddler stuff. Oh, the mood swings/freaking out over silly stuff
Funny/cute stories: I said "uh-oh spaghetti-os!" to him the other day to head off a freak out and he started trying to say it and it kept coming out funny ("uh-oh sabbetigoes!") and it was adorable!
How are you? So tired. Finals week is always rough. But almost done!
QOTW: Who would your child choose as the best character on Sesame Street? What about you? He doesn't watch it. I think he knows the Cookie Monster, though, so him?
