Oy, ran to the pharmacy to get my Femara to start tonight and they never heard from my doc. The gal was super nice and asked the pharmacist, and they were going to advance me the pills for tonight (woot!) but at the last minute found my prescription was just at one of their sister pharmacies and now I’m waiting for them to fill the whole thing.
I almost cried when she said she’d give me the pills for tonight so I wouldn’t miss out this cycle.

Like can't the unpredictable nature of it all be enough? Why are there so many other stressful factors! lol

The past 3 days I was working with a lovely woman with a very new baby whom she had with her (she was volunteering) but at no point was I sad or jealous...but I saw DDs teacher sporting a neat little bump at pick up yesterday and I was very envious. I am admittedly not a huge fan of the baby stage (I'm hoping I will be next time around since I'll have DD to entertain me and since I know what to expect) but is it weird that I'm totally indifferent when I see other people's babies?

No not weird I think everybody had certain things that kind of trigger them. For me since I've been lapped so many times but friends and family, most of the people my age that I know just had their last babies that complete their family. We would like at least two more and it's been so hard for me to accept that I may never get the family we always planned for. So when I see my friends that have like three kids all exactly two years apart I get so jealous.

I'm so glad it's not just me! And I was not a fan of pregnancy either. I had HG and was super sick from 6 weeks up until DD was finally out and in my arms. And she was an ECS. Same with my loss pregnancy. My hcg kept rising despite what was going on so I was throwing up until a few days after the d&c...so not sure why seeing pregnant people gets me.

sunny75 Yeah. Makes sense. I guess it's not the pregnancies or the babies but more the mourning of the place I feel I should have been at by now.

BFN again today at 10 dpo. I think I'm done testing unless AF is late. Oh and I also realized that CD 1 will mostly likely be this Sunday on Mother's Day. So that will be fun 🙄

So that will be fun 🙄 Sorry:( I was actually half thinking that mother's day can suck it this year. DD is too young to realize what it is and SO won't remember (but will throw a big fit if I ignore father's day despite the fact that I've been parenting alone for 4 years...) so yeah. I've decided I'm holding off testing until the 15th. AF should be here by then so the 15th will be definitive one way or another.

I woke up with a lymph node that feels like a ping pong ball in my neck (dramatic, in reality it's a marble), so I think all my symptoms/exhaustion were just actual illness. H is a bit fed up with me but I'm like sorry for being sick? He's a big man-baby when he gets sick but when I'm sick he gets all stressed out because he thinks I'm going to ask him to take off work. Reeeeelax and just let me be miserable while I go about my day. (MH works from home so we cross paths a lot/he's around in the mornings.) I had a BFN this morning but feel fine, it's 9DPO and I was testing just because it would have tortured me more not to.

Sympathy for the illness, Tlex. Hope you feel better soon. Also, sympathy for everyone who isn't looking forward to Mother's Day. I'm so thankful that we celebrate it in March. I don't think I'd manage if it was this weekend. If you know your partner won't do anything and your child is too young, definitely treat yourself!

My kids are too young to do anything for me for Mother's Day too. I'm taking the day off work tomorrow and booked a hydrafacial while the kids are in daycare. I'm definitely treating myself. It's been a rough fucking year. sunny75 Ugh, so sorry about the BFN. If you get AF on Mother's Day, please do something extra special for yourself. You deserve it! Tlex Sorry for being sick! My DH is the BIGGEST baby when he is sick. If men had to deal cramps from AF every month, we would never hear the end of it. I'm still so hopeful for you even with the BFN. You've had such crazy symptoms! sammysam I'm testing the 16th, so we will almost be testing buddies! Time is going by sooooo slow. And I too feel zero jealousy seeing babies. I didn't really like the first 3 or 4 months of that anyway. I have the worst longing when I see pregnant women though. I just stare and stare. They probably wonder why I'm such a weirdo.

It gets so much better the first time your kid is old enough to shakily write "m o m" on a card and cover a paper in stickers for you. This is my first year of that and it beats any other Mother's Day I could have had by a landslide! Next year will be better. ❤️🤗 I think we should have a Mother's Day treat yo self pact in this thread! I hereby promise to treat myself to something chocolate and delicious, probably a cupcake. You?

Month/Cycle: Month 17/Cycle 17
Timing: n/a (WTO)
CD/DPO: CD 8
Symptoms: nada
RRCS: I'll re-intro here since it seems like a lot of you guys are doing that, and I've mostly been AWOL. I'm 37 (will be 38 next month), DH is 43, we just celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary this week. I have a nearly 10 year old daughter from my first marriage. We're Floridians and in addition to my daughter, we have three feline furbabies. We also both work in the marketing field - I'm an analyst at a local college and he's the head marketing guy for a privately owned medical IT company. TTC-wise...My DD took 12 months to conceive and I was much younger then, so I wasn't expecting things to happen quickly this time, but DH and I started TTC a few months before our wedding to "get the ball rolling". Here we are, a year married, one C/P (in June of last year) still trying. We're giving it probably two more cycles after this one and then consulting with a doctor. (We'd do it sooner but we did take a short hiatus for a couple months last year when DH was laid off and I was having a medical issue, all of which is now thankfully resolved!)

Late to this but wildhoney, I'm also in Utah!!! You'll have to tell me where the good places are to kayak. We bough a blow-up kayak last year for our annual Tahoe trip and can't wait to use it more this year. The only place we've been kayaking here was up at Mirror Lake which was beautiful but a little cold (in July).

Tlex I hope you're feeling better!! sammysam I also feel the same as you about other people's babies, though I didn't before I had my own. And I LOVE the baby stage...I know I'm weird, but I'd do the baby stage 100 times over before living through the preteen years again (like we are now...oh the drama). I mean, please, show me all the pictures of your (generic "your") baby, but I just don't get as giddy about them as I did before I had my own. I also get jealous when I see a pregnant woman but I use that to push myself/us to keep trying.
