Going to Universal Orlando tomorrow with my BFF. It's been planned for months. Didn't even consider that being pregnant now I may not be able to do ANYTHING lol. According to their website almost all the rides have restrictions for pregnant women, but I'm not sure if they mean like really pregnant or what. We went about a month ago (I was about 4w along but didn't know it yet) and I didn't do a ton of rides but that was bc we had DD with us.
Just curious if anyone has had experience @ theme parks while prego? I'll be 9w on Monday so still pretty early. Didn't think to ask my Dr bc we haven't even had our first appointment yet.

Hmm. I don't know. Did you Google? Does the friend know you're pregnant?

She does know I'm pregnant but I'm sure she wouldn't be thinking I couldn't go on rides haha. I'm sure it would be fine if I didn't, but I'm just curious since I've never been on most of the rides there before...not sure what would be too much.

Hmmm.... I guess I would be more concerned further along. But that's me. I'd probably be selective and take the slower/safer ones but I think it's a personal choice.

I would go on ones that aren't like full-out roller coasters. I'd personally avoid any with loops, big drops, etc.

Based on what I could google, a big concern was placental abruption, but I'd think that would be more concerning if you were over say 12 weeks. I'd just be mindful of not doing anything too crazy or like PP said, pay attention to the lap bars and stuff.

Thanks y'all!! I did a few kiddie coasters but otherwise it worked out great-- I kept wanting to sit down every 20 minutes so I took breaks while my friend rode the rides she wanted.
