Alright. I've mentioned that I've been swelling for some time now and I'm only 20 weeks . Last pregnancy I wore flip flops but like, at age 30 my arches decided those weren't enough. So, I need some supportive, cute sandals that will accommodate my fat ass feet and ankles. I've been looking at the Sanuk yoga sling flip flops on Amazon. They don't look particularly supportive but they look comfy and like I can swell to my heart's desire. www.amazon.com/Sanuk-Womens-Sling-Flip-Flop-Olive/dp/B071XM571W/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1Any suggestions?

I have a pair of the yoga sandals and they are comfy, but run pretty narrow, enough that when my feet start to swell they will probably not fit width-wise. Not sure if they come in wide widths. I wouldn't say they are supportive, but they're comfy.
I actually love Reef Fanning flip flops, they have a molded foam foot bed and are decently supportive, and run nice and wide, especially if you get the men's ones (just size down one size). I wore them my whole 3rd trimester last time around.

I live in chacos and birks in the summer. My Chacos have a very solid and comfortable foot bed, but they can be a bit “sporty” looking.

I have a paid of Nike flip flops I wear a lot. They're pretty standard flip flops though so probably not what you're looking for. I haven't opened the thread but I noticed there's a Sandals thread on the General Discussion page today. Maybe there are suggestions in there since that board gets more activity? ETA: Link

Alô I have those Sanuks. They are very comfy, though not as much support. The whole recycled yoga mats are very squishy.

Bumping this because I need to more support and have to shop for better sandals. ftwr did you find something that has been working for you? Yes. I ended up getting a pair of knock off Birkenstocks and sized up as well. I've had no problems so far and have been wearing them to work and on the weekends. Sizing up seemed to give me more room in the foot bed and also some extra room in the straps.

I haven’t started to swell at all but have been debating about sizing up to be prepared. The $100 price tag on the Birkenstocks has caused some hesitation- I don’t want them if they will be too big next year.

After looking around there are several brands of knock-offs so I went with one of those since I was going to go up a size. I got mine from Famous Footwear. www.famousfootwear.com/womens-footbed-sandals?icid=wsandalsLP_popularstyles_footbeds

Haha! I had to look to see what you were taking about and I was totally expecting some kind of old lady shoe! I don't think these are very old lady-ish. So no, I don't think this makes you old. Although, I AM kinda old so.....! BUT justifying that listing price for modest shoes that support the health and comfort of your feet is some serious adulting!
