sunfrogger, sarahh, maddisonrose, kyzo, easternshoregirl, tiffrobot, kbw, dragonflyinn, yellow711, pinkcat, amesie, snowyowl, stephne, helloerrbody, cake, kbwHappy Monday! Hopefully you've gathered whatever you need so we have no excuses for starting our diets and exercises today! Check in here and tell us how you're doing. Some ideas and topics to get a discussion going: 1. What program(s) are you doing and how is it going? How much time each day are you dedicating to your fitness? 2. Which is easier for you?? Diet or Exercise? 3. If Applicable: How are you dealing with feeding small children without eating endless goldfish and chicken fingers yourself?

I was just coming in here to see if this was posted! 1. What program(s) are you doing and how is it going? How much time each day are you dedicating to your fitness? I’m doing B.B. 80 day obsession. I’m almost halfway through (today is Day 38!). Workouts are from 45-60 minutes so I either do them in the AM when kids are fed & happy, or during the afternoon when they are napping (for a few weeks now they’ve been taking naps @ the same time which is amaaaazing). I’m enjoying it but discouraged about my lbs & inches...which is silly bc I feel stronger & clothes are fitting better. 2. Which is easier for you?? Diet or Exercise? Exercise is easier for me. I can stick to a meal plan but I justify all the treats too lol. 3. If Applicable: How are you dealing with feeding small children without eating endless goldfish and chicken fingers yourself? Lol 😂 I really have found that if I just don’t have that stuff around (not even for DD) then it’s easier for all of us.

1. I just signed up for MyFitnessPal and tracked my diet so far today. Now I'm trying to get both kids to sleep (it is not going well) so I can exercise. I am planning to do beachbody on demand but I'm not committed to the 80 day obsession, it says that its intended for people who are already in good shape. So I'm going to try it but if its too much for me I will switch to something else with no guilt. I tried to eat better this weekend and I think I lost a pound or two. My weight fluctuates A LOT everyday so (like 3 lbs) so I'm hesitant to call it gone for sure, but I'm optomistic. 2. Diet is way easier for me. Exercise is not something I enjoy 3. I don't really feed DD "kid food" but I do tend to just eat whatever is left on her plate. My plan is to keep her leftovers in a small baggie for the dog so that hopefully I can take strides on his training as well. We'll see.

I didn’t workout a ton during pregnancy & found it pretty easy to follow the modifier the first few weeks.

1. What program(s) are you doing and how is it going? How much time each day are you dedicating to your fitness? -I’ve been going through Yoga with Adriene on YouTube doing her “True” 30 day series. I just finished day 18. I can feel myself getting stronger which is awesome. Things i struggled with in the beginning is now no sweat for me now. One of my goals for losing thisbaby weight was to gain strength as well. I lost all the baby weight from DD1 but i didn’t work out and remained fairly squishy and weak. So it’s awesome to be able to feel stronger. I’m pleased with the results so far.
2. Which is easier for you?? Diet or Exercise? -Usually diet is easier for me since i looooooathe exercising. But I have really been enjoying yoga. I danced my entire life so it’s nice to do something that feels familiar to me.
3. If Applicable: How are you dealing with feeding small children without eating endless goldfish and chicken fingers yourself? -ugh this is hard. Not so much the snacking. But it’s hard to not eat her scraps from her grilled cheese and Mac and cheese. I find that if I throw it in the trash immediately when she gets down from her chair it eliminates it completely

. What program(s) are you doing and how is it going? How much time each day are you dedicating to your fitness? I signed up for beachbody so I am thinking im going to start out with the Alittle bit obsessed program and see how I do. I am also going to try and sneak in some yoga ones if i can. ALso going to charge my fitbit
2. Which is easier for you?? Diet or Exercise? Diet is easier for me. I make alllll the excuses to use free time to sleep. Plus my hips and pelvis is still so out whack Im usually in so much pain and barely able to walk by the end of the day
3. If Applicable: How are you dealing with feeding small children without eating endless goldfish and chicken fingers yourself? I don't really give Declan kid food too much. Especially once he finishes his easter egg chocolates we wont really have too much in the house that will taunt me
Alcohol on the other hand......... I;m still going to allow myself to drink on the weekends but ill keep it within my plan and track it on MFP. If anyone wants to be friends on there im maddiee88

THANK Y'ALL! Because of this thread and y'all, I worked out while the big napped! =))) I did 40 mins of cardio yoga. I was supposed to teach and take 2 classes of barre this morning but my babysitter woke up with strep throat, so all of my well-intentioned plans got ruined BOO. But I still got in a workout woohoo!
1. What program(s) are you doing and how is it going? How much time each day are you dedicating to your fitness? I mainly do Pure Barre, but I'm trying to do some at-home workouts to supplement since I can't get to barre every day. DS1 starts oxygen treatments next week, so I'm mainly going to have to work out at home.
2. Which is easier for you?? Diet or Exercise? Exercise for sure! It's my part time job and I love working out (although I'm not crazy about at-home workouts). Diet is actually pretty good except for weekends. I kinda go wild on the weekend, which needs to stop if I want to lose weight. It works fine when I'm just maintaining, but not for losing.
3. If Applicable: How are you dealing with feeding small children without eating endless goldfish and chicken fingers yourself? I try to keep food for the toddler that's either healthy or not really appealing to me.

1. What program(s) are you doing and how is it going? How much time each day are you dedicating to your fitness? No programs but around 30-45 minutes for exercise most days. Usually about one day off a week. Adriene's True plus running. Usually 2 runs of 3 miles each and 1 run of 4 miles. I'd like to start increasing my weekend run as V becomes more predictable. My weekday runs might be shorter some though on the days I take out the double... 2. Which is easier for you?? Diet or Exercise? I guess exercise. I love to run! And I love how yoga makes me feel good and strong. I do like cooking too though and eating healthy stuff but....I have a wicked sweet tooth. 3. If Applicable: How are you dealing with feeding small children without eating endless goldfish and chicken fingers yourself? We don't really have foods like that in our house, which helps! I do serve hot dogs on occasion for dinner (maybe once a month?) and we'll get pizza for take out sometimes too. My biggest hurdle is the candy. I buy it and eat so much at once it is kind of ridiculous. Read more: howeverithappened.proboards.com/thread/15011/healthy-bodies-april-30-check#ixzz5EGiwPH4g

1. What program(s) are you doing and how is it going? How much time each day are you dedicating to your fitness?
I'm doing weight watchers. It's going pretty good and I'm getting used to what I can and cannot eat. I think I am going to start the yoga with adriene 30 day program tonight.
2. Which is easier for you?? Diet or Exercise?
Diet. I am so tired that by the time I get home from work, get DD1 fed and put her to bed I'm done. Maybe if the baby starts sleeping more I will have more energy.
3. If Applicable: How are you dealing with feeding small children without eating endless goldfish and chicken fingers yourself?
N/A since I work out of the house. At night we eat different things (even before ww) since I'm a vegetarian so I'm not really tempted with her food. Also since I only see her 2 hours at night she normally doesn't snack so that's good for me.

1. What program(s) are you doing and how is it going? How much time each day are you dedicating to your fitness? I’m doing WW, which helps keep me accountable. I haven’t started any regular exercise. I need to find a way to fit it into my schedule, but I am going to settle in at work first.
2. Which is easier for you?? Diet or Exercise? Diet, because it’s less time consuming. Now that I’m back at work it’s easier to eat healthy. I pack my lunch at night when I’ve eaten dinner, so I’m not hungry and it’s easy to make good choices.
3. If Applicable: How are you dealing with feeding small children without eating endless goldfish and chicken fingers yourself? I throw away scraps right away. The snacks are harder... I mostly buy him stuff I don’t want, but if I’m hungry I will definitely sneak bites of his tasty snacks.

My dumbbells come today! I'm afraid though that DD1 is starting to drop her nap. So I'm going to start BBM5.0 today.
I tried to do TRUE day 1 yesterday but I couldn't get into it. I have a hard time with yoga at home and not in a studio so it doesn't surprise me.

I tweaked my back on Monday 😭😭 I had upped my weights this week in my workouts & think I went too heavy for one exercise. So it bothered me again yesterday in a cardio workout & still sore today. Trying to decide if I should skip the workout or attempt it & modify.

1. What program(s) are you doing and how is it going? How much time each day are you dedicating to your fitness? I've just recently started the Yoga with Adrienne 30 days challenge. I'm on day 3. I'm planning on giving myself 30 minutes of set exercise daily and hoping to go on walks with the boys when the weather is nice.
2. Which is easier for you?? Diet or Exercise? I'd say they are about the same for me. I have a sweet tooth and bf makes me constantly hungry so I struggle with not eating junk just to get calories in. Exercise is great when I make the time to do it, it's just hard to give myself that time.
3. If Applicable: How are you dealing with feeding small children without eating endless goldfish and chicken fingers yourself? I allow myself little bites here and there of things. Like I might have 5 m&m's. I don't deprive myself all together of it or I binge.

dragonflyinn I have the worst post part in pelvic/hip pain still. My hips are constantly out of alignment that at the end of everyday I’m limping around. I started implementing regular stretching and it’s helping my back quite a bit. Hope yours starts to feel better too!

I hope your back feels better soon dragonflyinn! Maybe sub today's workout with some stretching? Yea I might do the stretching routine from 80 day instead of the workout for today. I’m also exhausted so I think a rest day would be good for me too. It still hurts, even putting DD on the potty or doing random motions makes it hurt :/

1) what program are you doing?
Haven’t started yet but I signed up for a free beginners class at a new Pilates studio in town. I haven’t done any exercise since before my wedding (7 years ago!) but my body responds very well to Pilates (or at least it did in my 20s) so I’m excited.
2) what’s easier for you, diet or exercise?
Diet, without question. My life has been one big diet since puberty. It sounds worse than it is. I just have really good will power when I want to. I need exercise in my life to tone and feel strong and healthy. And now to help me lose these nagging 12 lbs.
3) how do you manage to not eats kids food?
I’m doing MSPI diet to help angry baby (it’s working) so I can’t eat their food or any food really.

Question for the nursing work out moms, are you wearing a regular sports bra or a special one? My boob are really clog happyvso I have to be careful on tightness. I’ve never worked out while nursing (this is embarrassing) so I don’t know what to do.

I’ve never worked out while nursing (this is embarrassing) so I don’t know what to do. I've been thinking about this. I am wearing a regular sports bra and wondering if it could affect supply. I'll be following here. I often end up wearing it for at least half the day - not just the workout.

Bump for the weekend! How did everyone do this week? My scale is being kind, if I believe it I'm down 3 lbs. Not sure I do but I'm encouraged nonetheless. I've worked out every day and three days I also did either an hour walk or a yoga class. I got basically no housework done this week though so not sure it's sustainable. I also picked up a new (to me) jogging stroller!!

I fell off the wagon hard, but I have a hard time with diet and exercise so it's not to be unexpected. :/ time to get back on.
I had a really hard time last weekend getting my hair cut because I gained all these pounds in my face. I couldn't look at my face in the mirror without getting teary. I'm also finding that nothing fits... Including last go round pp RTW clothes and even my maternity shorts... Yea.
Its just going to be hard to balance working out and my MBA that I use my nights / weekend for.
I did walk a lot of hills yday with DD1 in the stroller so, that was a work out.
