I'd like to go home now please. The weather sucks, traffic sucks, I'm tired, and cranky.

I'm planning to go on the pill after birth. The IUD stuff isn't for me. I was between pill and nexplanon, but I like the cancer reducing benefits of the pill. I'll take it for 3 years, condoms for a year, and if we are firmly OAD when kid is 4, MH will get snipped. Or we'll TTC and then he will do it. We absolutely can't get pregnant again before this kid is 4 because two in FT daycare would be impossible financially. Leaning towards one though.

And I'm not a huge fan of the pill but I can stick it out for a few years. I was on it from 2009-2012 and mood swings were the hardest part. Also my acne seemed worse on the pill.

My eye appt went well. He didn't see any cells of inflammation so that's good. I'm going to be tapering down the drops over the next three weeks and see him again in June. If it rebounds I call to get in immediately and oral steroids would be the next step. FX it doesn't!

We are done after 2. Considering our infertility struggles and our age the likelihood of us getting pregnant naturally is pretty unlikely. I was on the pill for many years, mostly to control my PCOS but a lot of my symptoms improved after I had DS so I don't plan on going back on it.

I just got home after my second IV Iron treatment. There is like a weird bubble on my arm where they put the IV. I’ve been getting this done a couple times a year for 7 years and that has never happened. It doesn’t hurt but it is grossing me out.

I haven't even done that much today except workout but my feet and heels especially hurt like hell. I might need a foot massage.

I was going to go work out today, but my groin has been killing me. Feels like a pulled muscle that twinges every time i walk, squat, sit, or lift my left leg. I'm not sure if working out will make it worse or not. Sigh.

Ugh, our air conditioner went out last night. Repair guy came out to look at it today and confirmed that we need a whole new unit. Not too surprising considering this one is 14+ years old and has been giving us trouble every summer for the last few years, but am not looking forward to shelling out the money for it. Plus, they can't come replace it until Wednesday, so hello to a hot several days. At least we shouldn't have to worry about it the rest of the summer now.

We have temps in the upper 80's until tomorrow. Then back into the 70s all next week.

Ours was acting up a few months after we bought our house. Luckily it was an easy fix and FIL brought over a couple of window units to get us through the few days.

We are almost done putting in central ac/heat. After all is said and done we will probably have $6000 in it. It would have been double if MH hadn't done it all himself. So, I feel you on the big expenses. And I'm so over it being too warm in my house already. It should be done sometime next week, but that feels so far.

Yesterday at the doctor they took bloodwork to test liver and kidney values. I do the urine catch on Sunday. Well, the doctors office called at 4:55 and left a message saying it’s not urgent but I do need to call them back, but that they are closing for the day. So I call back two minutes later and they answer but the girl who called me already left. So I have to call tomorrow. The kicker? I’ve been going to this doctors office for 4-5 years and they have never called me to tell me test results. They’ve always uploaded them to the portal. So I’m feeling like it must have been an abnormal test result.

sasam, I’m so sorry. Our AC seems to be on the fritz at the moment too. DH thinks a coil has frozen so he’s working on thawing it out now. It is so so hot in my house right now. If anybody touches me I will most likely not be kind.

The fact they said it wasn’t urgent is a good sign but I would be worried too. Keep us posted.

I don't know if it's the heat but my ankles have started to swell and they hurt. I don't know what's worse for the summer, swollen feet and ankles or spider veins? 😩

I need coffeeeee. I think I slept maybe 5 hours. I made myself stay up until 11 since we ate dinner so late and then woke up all night. MH and I are in our own hotel room but I still just didn't sleep great. I'm having 2 cups this morning for sure 😫☕

I slept better last night and DS is in a better mood this morning. I hope it continues. We should be able to get outside today.
I'm ready for the weekend even if it does mean deep cleaning the house and a bunch of errands.

kaeguri, Is it symphysis pubic dysfunction (SPD)? For me the biggest symptom is the sudden inability to walk due to groin pain. Some aliments during pregnancy you shouldn't push through. It's not just a tight muscle that will loosen up. Listen to your body and rest if you need to. I can't keep track of everyone who has a support belt, but using one may help you remain more active. My chiro also help tremendously. The other thing I try to remember is keeping my legs close together at all times. During the worst of it, that means stepping on each stair with both feet or being mindful as I get in and out of the vehicle to swing my legs around to the side together and not exit one leg at a time. I also avoid crossing my legs. Whatever it is, I hope you find some relief soon. It's too early to be so uncomfortable!

Hopefully it’s good news. I’ve been feeling anxious since the phone message. Also, I’ve been feeling hiccups since you guys mentioned it the other day

kam3100, hope you get in touch with them today! I hate when they call you right at the end of their day, and you have to wait for news cornflakegirl, FX it passes quickly for you! My main thing was that the chairs were so uncomfortable lol. ohreally, initially i didn't think SPD, because my pubis didn't hurt, but after taking DD on a short walk to the playground last evening, I'm pretty sure it is now. My entire groin/pubis/hip area is killing me with just standing or walking, swinging my legs to the side to get out of the bed is painful, and forgetting even trying to squat down for anything. Sigh. I did some yoga last night and put a heat pack on it. We're going to Disney in 2 weeks, and I'm going to die. I'll try to keep in mind to keep my legs closed (HA, because that's totally what got me here, right????). i have a natural wide turnout from dancing as a kid, so my legs are usually open and/or crossed to keep them together. This will take some getting used to.

I think I might have managed to shift DD's sleep schedule, so FX. Wed night, she woke up from her nap at 10pm (grr) and didn't go to bed til 2am, but woke up at 6:30, so she went down for her nap at noon and bed at 10:15pm. And I got a whole hour and half to myself before I went to bed. Then she was up at 5:30 this morning. So FX I can get her down at 10 tonight again. Gonna take her to the park right before nap time to make sure she tires herself out. I'm exhausted though. I'm used to 8 hours of sleep, and getting barely 5 ish is killing me, and I don't drink coffee. Might drink some tea though.

kaeguri, i've been doing these exercises for pelvic/hip pain and they seem to be helping: you just need a resistance band- i picked one up for like $5 at marshall's. there are lots of other SPD/hip & pelvic pain exercise/stretching videos on youtube. the one above is supposed to strengthen your core and your back to take some of the pressure off your pelvis. watch out for any exercises where they want you to spread/stretch your hips wide apart- i would avoid those until your pain subsides a bit. i've found sleeping with a body pillow has been helping, too-- something that's long enough that both your knees and your ankles are separated.

vvvvvfee, thanks I'll take a look at that! I've been sleeping with a snoogle pillow for over a month now, but I move so much at night, it rarely stays between my legs. Maybe I should duct tape them haha.

Thanks kaeguri! You're right these chairs are horrible, it doesn't help my lower back pain. I did start watching Santa Clarita Diet while trying to pass the time. I added it to my watch list.
