I also had an OB appointment today, which was boring. I LOVE boring! I want to stay boring, pretty please. goldenbird, my GLT is scheduled for 5/30 too so we get to be buddies drinking the nasty sweet stuff. Glad your OB is cool with the treatment for your eye. I'm not looking forward to it lol. It will be my first time. I need to look at my paperwork and see what time I need to not eat past. I have to work that day and my appointment is an hour after work. So I can't fast but I should be able to cut off the food by five hours or so before.

Haha... I had an appointment today too. I need to schedule my GTT. My BP was 142/87, but I was crazy at work and left a field trip to be there. Every thing else was good.

kam3100, I've got all the things crossed for you! I might start watching one of H's coworker's baby a day or 2 a week beginning of September, and I'm trying to figure out car seats too. DD is still rearfacing, and I'll have two infants, so I'm thinking DD might have to go in the 3rd row if I ever do need to go somewhere with all 3, and put the 2 babies in the second row. But mostly, i plan on just staying home those days.

Peeing in a cup when you can't see your lady parts is fun😂😂😂 I got pee on my hand today and my belly isn't even that big yet lol. Surprisingly I have good aim, but I did have DS with me and he was just looking at me like I lost it lol. I sure hope I don't find him trying to pee in a cup one of these days😆

Omg. My husband is being such a baby about a vasectomy discussion. I had to explain his own anatomy to him. He thought he would not be able to ejaculate anymore after having a vasectomy. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry lol. He is also super freaked out about being awake during the procedure. I was not nice when I told him to stop he being a wimp.

Does he not know how c-sections work? Also, I had to explain to a male friend once that women do not pee out of their vaginas, and there are, in fact, two holes down there. We were 25. He had a girlfriend.

It's been wet and chilly here all week so DS hasn't been able to go outside. He's cranky and all of the whining/crying is driving me nuts.

DH would be willing to have a vasectomy, but I never want a period again so Mirena it is unless my ob has some other option for me.

sending good thoughts to you, kam3100moms of 3 or soon to be moms of 3 ohreally, notmoose, catspajamas2, tarheelmom and anyone else i forgot... assuming you and your SO each have a car-- are you going to have both cars set up to be able to fit all the kids? or will just 1 car be able to fit all the kids? we have to get rid of my car (12 year old sedan) and get a minivan, so obviously we will be able to fit all the kids in that. but i'm wondering if we should try to set up DH's car to fit 3 across in the back. like what about when the minivan needs service-- the other person would be stuck w/o a car... DH has a subaru forester, and even though it's wider than a sedan i think we might still have to re-buy narrower car seats to make it work with 3 across, and i'm just wondering if it's worth it. Just my car will be set up for all the kids. It's the only one that will fit all of them. I drive an explorer. It really doesn't matter for us though, we're a "special" case. We have 4 vehicles between the 2 of us. It wouldn't be ideal but if my explorer needed to be worked on I could fit the 2 LOs in my fiesta and MH could drive one of his trucks. But MH owns a body/paint shop, so if there was something wrong with my truck he'd make it a priority to fix it. And I also don't work, so I'd likely just stay home instead of trying to make one of the other vehicles work. Eta: DS is rear facing still in a Graco 4ever (I think) And I have no plans to switch him. Baby will be in the bucket seat until probably 8ish months and then we have an evenflo convertible. DD is still in a booster seat. My explorer has captain seats not bench.

I mentioned the idea of a vasectomy to my DH once and his reaction was immediately and vehemently negative. He faints every time he has to have blood drawn so the idea of snipping anything near his penis elicits such severe anxiety that I've learned that it's not a topic I can bring up again. Ever. I gently reminded him what enduring pregnancy and childbirth is like and he quickly concluded that women are definitely the stronger sex. Fortunately I'm really old so birth control will only be a short term issue after this LO is born.

I don't know how they came up with their "guaranteed" list but I don't believe it. They say that two Dionos and one Graco Nautilus can fit in an Accord. We can barely fit the Graco Wayz in there and it's a few inches narrower than the Nautilus. I also don't see how any Britax seat would fit with three across. Perhaps they aren't accounting for overlap or wide headwings? We also could not make an infant seat (Graco Snugride) fit, even baseless, in our sedan with three across.
Disappointed there aren't any more affordable seats on their list. Our next issue will come in a couple years when a boostered child will have to be able to buckle in!

ohreally, that first link i tried to put in was messed up but i fixed it. yeah, i dunno, i'm assuming that the site that gives you combos for specific cars is just going by interior width and just assuming the seats will puzzle in together? RE affordable seats, the cosco scenera is cheap ($50), and various colors of the combi coccoro are often on sale (the red is $150 right now on amazon).

My kids are too tall to make the Combi worthwhile, especially for extended rearfacing. But it seems like a great seat for compact cars when it comes to three across. I've heard the Next is narrow but never tried it. I might pick one or two up to try in my parents' car. It'd be nice to have some spare seats that would fit in their vehicle. Maybe even three across with the right combo of kids. ohreally, that first link i tried to put in was messed up but i fixed it. yeah, i dunno, i'm assuming that the site that gives you combos for specific cars is just going by interior width and just assuming the seats will puzzle in together? I knew someone that was in the office with her H when they did his vasectomy. The doc offered to let her cut the tube!!

tarheelmom, I have heard so many anecdotal IUD pregnancy stories. Most are with paraguard but I still can't risk it. I actually plan to get Mirena to help with my chronic anemia but will also be scheduling his vasectomy.

H said he would get a vasectomy after he saw what I went through with DS's birth and it helped that many of the neighbors got them too. I also may have told him that if I get pregnant by accident, I may kill him for the insurance money. And allergy season + no good meds = a very high chance of peeing myself today.

MH is on team vasectomy. The idea of another kid terrifies him more than surgery to his junk. I support this, because I’ve been on birth control since I was 16 and I’m so over it.

Our plan was vasectomy, but I think I want to have a mirena put back in after a year or so (not while I have to pump at work, I think it killed my supply), but H says he's all in for the V still. Fine with me! I need to remind him to start asking around his hockey buddies about doctors.

H is getting a vasectomy, or else I've threatened to never have sex with him again. He's pretty amenable to it anyways though, which is nice. I just think he doesn't want to deal with another 9 months of me whining about me pregnant ever again haha. pbandjelly, I sneezed yesterday and peed on my kitchen chair. So there's that. Toddler decided to wake up at 10 pm from her "nap" and didn't go back to sleep til 2am then was wide awake at 6:30. I don't drink coffee, so I'm barely functioning right now and she's climbing all up on my kitchen counter rooting through the cabinets and I'm letting her, because, tired.

MH is fine with getting a vasectomy. He'll probably get one some time after the 4th kid. Although I am iffy about it. At this point I'd be open to more than 4 kids, he absolutely is not.

I'm tired and grumpy because of my leg/foot. I want to take a nap, but that'd be pointless since MH is due home soon and my gpa keeps coming in and out doing laundry and going to the bathroom. And now my stepdad says he's coming and staying until Saturday.
I just want everyone to leave me alone.
