I just joined a group to do the 21 day fix! I'm excited for a structure and keeping me accountable! Has anyone done this before?

Just out for my daily walk. Walked home and heading back to work shortly. I will walk to art class with DD tonight too so I should get my steps in at least.

Ultimate goal: feel good in my clothes, bikini ready This week's goal: yoga everyday (always!), and at least 2 long walks. How are you doing so far? I wanted to get in a walk yesterday (DS is in school mon/tues so that’s when i have the most free time) but it was SNOWING. Definitely trying for a walk today. RRAW: Yesterday was day 50 of yoga! I can’t believe it, honestly. It’s become such a regular part of my day and I’ve become much better at prioritizing it. Sunday afternoon H asked if I could cut his hair that night, I said “well, i still need to do my yoga” and his response was “Oh, then do your yoga. That comes first, it’s the only thing you ever do for you.” It’s really nice that he realizes the importance too One more win to brag about: the past few years I’ve had a slipping rib. If I bend or scrunch my midsection the wrong way one of my lower ribs will pop out of place and it is quite uncomfortable. It’s only gotten worse and was happening almost everyday, getting more painful, and taking longer to slide back into place. There were certain things in yoga that i just couldn’t do because it was the wrong kind of bending. In the Yoga with Adriene videos she loves to do this thing when you’re lying on your back, you grab your feet and rock back and forth until you land sitting up. There was no way in hell i could do that....until last week!! I still have to be careful and mindful but all the core work has finally stabilized by rib somewhat. I am thrilled.

charliefox, I know the exact move you're talking about and it was my favorite to finally get to do! Congrats on 50 straight days, that is seriously something you should be so proud about!

I started my yoga yesterday and plan to do it until I get my 21 day fix stuff. I just got an email that it shipped, so hopefully I will get it by the weekend! I might try to fit in yoga after the workouts that you have to do for the 21 days.

Just got back from a 5 mile walk!
Forgot to add earlier that one of my goals is to focus on my eating. I fear that I'm not eating enough and at the same time eating the wrong things. When I'm hungry I reach for carbs, dinner is usually pretty balanced but that's about it. My goal is to cut back on simple carbs (bread etc) and add in more fruit and veg. I've been keeping track on MyFitnessPal which helps keep me accountable.

I hit my steps yesterday but today is a total bust. Hoping for a better day tomorrow.

I just did 72 minutes of yoga! And my DD joined me for the last 45 of it!

I took my “before” pictures and was feeling really down and upset by how I looked. Especially because I couldn’t suck in like I normally do when I know a photo is being taken. But then I did my yoga and I’m feeling much more at peace. I’m starting. That’s what I can do now, I can’t continue to feel this way.

But then I did my yoga and I’m feeling much more at peace. I’m starting. That’s what I can do now, I can’t continue to feel this way. I feel like I could have written this. But the daily walks and not eating after 5pm are starting to make me feel calmer at least. I think I need to start doing some yoga too. I'll try tomorrow and see how it goes.
