Frig i hope that's not true, I've always heard that after the saline sono your chances go up. Fx for you! I read that too! I also read a study that the biopsy can help your chances as well. It said it can make it easier for the egg to implant. My hopes are high this cycle!! Maybe too high Hope does not make bad things happen ❤️ I'm hopeful for you too!

sharebear Thank you! The biopsy is the reason for no intercourse, not the saline sonogram. Maybe I'm worrying over nothing though and he will also tell me to get busy ASAP

stayingblonde Welcome! Do you have a LO? What cycle are you on? What CD are you now? Yes. All the nosey questions:) We always love new additions! Thanks! I have a 2.5 y/o son Been through 6 cycles so far AF started today, so I'm on that day where I want to throw things and burn everything down I have never formally tracked my cycle because I tried to "not stress" about it. (I got pg w/ my son the one month I didn't track anything at all because I knew I would be OOT during O time, so I feel like I have no idea what to do this round.) I use the Ovia app and take an ovulation test each month. BUT I'm old af (39) and it's clearly not working. SO I'm hoping to start tracking more formally/temping and see if I can get better results that way.

I have my saline sonogram and endo biopsy today! I'm so nervous. I was reading online that you aren't supposed to have intercourse for up to a week (when the spotting usually stops) after the biopsy! I hope that's not true because that would mean I would be out this month. I usually O on CD 12 which is Sunday. GL!!! After my hsg I wasn't told to wait at all, I can't imagine it's that much different? I think it would only be because they had to open your cervix a bit and there's a risk of infection? After my d&c the doc said it really only takes a few days for your cervix to close, that the "2 week" rule they usually give you is really old school medicine.

I recently switched from ovia to FF when I started temping but with my DD I only used OPKs and the same with our loss baby who was conceived last June. You would think they should make TTC easier on us oldies. Not harder. It's already hard enough chasing a LO around at this age;)

stayingblonde I’m SO glad you came to play! I’ve only been here a few weeks, but it has helped my emotional state so much already. Also the ladies here are really good at FF, reading OPKs, and interpreting BBT charts. Also also, I’m on CD 4 so we are almost kinda period twins

Age of LO(s): 2
Month/Cycle: 13 in all? 3AL and 1AL
CD/DPO: 10/na
Timing: na
RRCS: Oh you know...just plodding along. I have my annual exam on May 8 and I am going get an order to have my blood drawn to check progesterone on 7dpo. I am going to make a plan to figure out how I get betas and progesterone tested if I ever get another bfp, in case low progesterone is the culprit. I also want to make a plan because when I will be testing in June I will be in Florida visiting my mom, so how would I get betas and a progesterone check if I am there and get a bfp.
If I get my progesterone checked at 7dpo and it is fine, would leave me to expect that if I had a bfp, the progesterone would be fine as well? Or, even if this test at 7do is normal, there is still a chance that low progesterone is an issue with a bfp?
I feel doomed to have a zillion chemical pregnancies.

sammysam, sorry about the OPK confusion. I'm glad at least you're able to still get a few extra days in even if you do O later. I'm kind of sad we're not cycle twins anymore really lol.

Yogurt re: testing while you’re away, can your doctor give you a lab order with and request results STAT that you can take to a national lab (like a Labcorp or Quest) that has a location near where you’ll be? When can you check in with a doctor to figure out a plan for labs and progesterone? ETA: see the May 8 comment. Can you come prepared with a list of requests (lab orders, progesterone RX, etc) and questions?

I am for sure going to be the most annoying patient on earth if its comes to that on getting all these things, but I plan on being pretty relentless in advocating for myself. I will make a list before my appointment. Maybe you guys can help me make it. Oh and as an aside, I went to get some bloodwork done on cd5 and it was thyroid, clotting factors?, vit d, hcg and...something else. All normal, and I assume hcg was totally neg. But normal is good.

Age of LO(s): 5.5
Month/Cycle: many/many
CD/DPO: 21/10
Timing: -4, IUI at O
RRCS: no pregnancy symptoms at all. Face still an explosion of high school acne (thanks, progesterone). I feel grumpy and ready to get on to the next cycle. I don’t think this is the one.

9dpo over here. Testing out my trigger, yesterday's and today's are basically identical - which means I spent like 15 minutes this morning staring at them. Oy.
I just need the next 2-3 days to fly by so I have some answers! AF will be here Sunday (and temp should drop tomorrow or the next day if not KU).

So...in the opinion of TFAS how important is DTD on O? I had a slight temp drop today which would put O either today or tomorrow. I'm trying to get SO to power through the next 2 days but I'm not sure tonight is going to work out. I figure with -2 and -1 O doesn't become as important...I hope.
Sorry for being a little OTT this cycle. I've had my hopes set on this cycle since the start so I know if it doesn't work out this month I'm going to be more disappointed and sad than usual.

You're not being OTT at all! You've had such a crazy cycle with your OPKs, I would be feeling the same way. I definitely feel like 1- and -2 are more important than O. Better to have the sperm waiting for the egg from what I've read.
