Question....I’m going to be in STL for an appointment on the same day as my nieces preschool graduation. Am I supposed to get her something for preschool graduation? If so...what? Toys, clothes, a keepsake? My other nieces and nephew didn’t go to preschool. They stayed home with my sister who was a SAHM. Now my sister is back to work as a ...preschool teacher. CFA or Steak and shake gift cards?

Afternoon ladies! MH and I have been pretty busy lately doing all our own evening activities so we spent some free time this week talking budgets and calendars. He has 3 week long trainings this summer that have 1week between them and I'm trying to schedule some family trips. I planted some bulbs and poppy seeds this morning. 2min ago I read we will have a frost tonight. Oops. Fx something grows.

lfig I’d just get her a little bouquet, like a couple roses or daisies, or a corsage to wear during the graduation. klong11 sorry FIL is showing clear favoritism. I hope C doesn’t notice.

Happy Saturday! I am sitting in the parking ramp about to head into work. Wedding reception ended up being kind of lame last night and they shut it down at 11. We went to a bar with a couple of friends after until like 1:30. DH picked up the girls pretty early because MIL wanted to go to an exercise class and FIL was going golfing 🙄. DH is taking H to a father daughter dance this afternoon and S is going back to the ILs during. I hope he gets better pictures this year than he did last year. My sister came over to borrow our computer so she did double French braids in H’s hair, it’s cute.

He's a fairly athletic kid but it does seem like he has pretty good hand-eye coordination for his age. My cousin actually played major league ball so he is taking all the credit It definitely did not come from my H or me!

That would hurt my feelings a bit, klong11. Jealous of your night out, dapostrophe. Enjoy! Hope everything is okay with your sister.

Woof.
X was up from 1-6 shaking and crying hysterically while he his fever was breaking. Also pooped and vomited all over his room and bathroom so we spent the morning decontaminating and taking him on walks in the stroller to keep him calm. He's napping now and I hope it's a good one.
I'm totally spiraling on his lack of eating. Anxiety is definitely hitting the roof because of this situation.
Pete is feeding Poppy and I'm taking Dude to the mall play place so he doesn't feel trapped inside all weekend.

Last night was a lot of fun. I threw a going away party for a coworker who is transferring at a bar by our Work. We had a huge turnout and everyone had a great time. He was very happy and the Chief was happy with me pulling it off. I left at 10:30 but would have stayed out later if my former supervisor that just got fired didn’t show up uninvited. She wasn’t even close to my coworker. Things got really awkward so I left. It’s so odd that she showed up.
C slept until 6:30 today which is way better than 5. We had tball opening day which was meet the team, get shirts and hats, and do pics. He did really good, although over smiled. Then we went to Kohl’s and Target. He’s upstairs now not napping. I was able to finish a book and take a nap though so that’s good.
Nothing planned tonight. May suggest we all go out to eat if I’m feeling brave.

Col's first tee ball game was cancelled because of yesterday's rain, so we spent all morning playing in the yard because of course it's beautiful today. My parents visited so DH went to the barbershop while my Mom and I played all the sports. It was nice. Then Colin helped me make a big batch of muffins for the freezer and I baked up some cookie dough that I had stashed in the freezer.
In other news, I ran 13 miles this morning and it's all short ones until race day. I'm so nervous!!

My brother in Houston is now on the hunt for Cadence's dollhouse too. There's a frozen one on letgo for his area, so hoping we can get it. I'm not going to show Cadence though, just in case it falls through.

Not that anyone is counting but we're currently at walk number five for the day. He has been much better this afternoon so I think the injection is working.

I just did my first run since surgery and my first exercise at all since January. Only a mile but I want to ease it. It was wonderful. My coworker wants to do a 5k in June so I’m hoping I can do it.

About to dig the basement myself. Pretty sure that's the only way I'll get the house where I want it. Losing my patience and I didn't start with much.

I tried resolve and magic eraser on the pillow. It lightened but the stains are still there. According to the interwebz, Murphy’s oil soap will lift it, so I’m going out to buy some tmrw.

We're catching up on this week's episode of The Americans. I freaking hate Elizabeth. I'm rooting for Phillip but I really hope she gets it by the end of the series.

Great job! I’m not a runner, but I like to walk briskly for exercise. Lol. And I did 2 miles this evening. It was my first time out since my surgery. I usually do 3 miles at a time but didn’t want to over do it, so I stopped at 2. I’m hoping I can make myself do this more regularly as well as ride my bike. I lost 20lbs in the 2 weeks after my surgery and once I started eating real food again I put 7lbs back on. So I’d like to not gain anymore back. I’m still figuring out the right balance with food. And I’ve been eating too much (although less than pre surgery). And been having a lot of pain from it. But I’m finally getting better at gauging the right amount to satisfy me, yet not cause me pain. So I think now that I’m doing better with that, if I add in activity, I should loose some more pretty easily.
