Hi!
We took the kids out for hibachi and they did great! Our chef was very personable, which helped; we've taken B before but he enjoys it even more now that he's older and can participate.
Now I'm plopped on the couch with M&Ms and a glass of milk watching Limitless. Bradley Cooper...mmmm.

So, last night I felt super run down and almost achy. I didn't have a fever but I had the chills. I was so exhausted and could barely keep my eyes open. So I went to bed. I woke up at 5am to a rock hard boob and I could feel a lump that was tender to the touch. So it occurred to me this morning that I may have a clogged duct. I've never had one before.
However, my stomache is also achy. Like every once in a while I keep getting this dull ache. It's almost like a hunger pain but I'm not really hungry. It's hard to explain. I'm not sure if the two are related.
This sucks.

waitwhat if you also already have a fever and feel flu like symptoms, you might have mastitis. I would look it up and get to a doctor if it sounds like that. You'll need to get on antibiotics sooner rather than later.

You'll need to get on antibiotics sooner rather than later. That is like my biggest fear. But I feel better this morning. I'm really hoping I caught this before it turned into full blown mastitis. But my stomache is still a little off.

@cookswithwine9 there are some delicious (but pricey) premade lactation cookies you can buy for a treat if you aren't into baking. I have not had a PP period yet, but have had definite hormonal fluctuations that seriously mess with my supply. Drinking an obscene amount of water, doubling my oatmeal intake, and having her nurse as much as possible usually did the trick until my hormones leveled out. I'm sure pumping extra times might help too? Idk.
