I’m super boring as far as meal planning— I am happy to eat the same thing every day. I mix up the veggies & protein for my dinners though (like this week it’s salmon & green beans) Writing it out like this helps me to actually eat enough lol. I kept forgetting to eat & that affected my milk supply a little & I wasn’t getting enough calories for my workouts anyway. So I follow this schedule loosely, depending on what’s going on & when we start our day. Basically every 2-3 hours & make sure I eat 1 hr before I workout.

I think I skipped day 14 haha. I did 15 yesterday. I usually will fast forward through the video and “preview” it before I start because she has these easy stretching days every once in a while. I don’t have time for a 25 minute stretching session! If I’m going to workout I want it to be worth my time and it actually be a workout. Hence why I skipped 14 haha. 12 and 13 were really good workouts though, I feel like I could just repeat those 2 a few times and be good! I was going to do 16 last night after V's bedtime but when I saw it was 41 min, I was like oh heck no. I wasn't mentally ready for that. I'll try tonight though, knowing how long it is ahead of time helps. I might be getting some numbers mixed up...

That's helpful dragonflyinn! I bet a smoothie would be a good evening snack for me in place of ice cream. I also like the idea of having it all written down in advance.

I usually fast forward through the extended periods of breathing haha. Again, ain’t no body got time for dat! I’ll be doing a 16 shortly so I’ll report back and let you know

Except mine right now probably has food every hour. This. Sometimes I think it's because I'm just home all day and there's plenty to eat, but then I remember when I was working and I was constantly hungry. I used to pack a huge cooler of food just for myself. I'm really trying to be conscious about not eating between meal times because we're trying to teach DD1 that she needs to eat her breakfast / lunch / dinner and can't just snack all day, if she had it her way she'd just snack constantly all day. But I'm truly so hungry, I end up hiding out in the kitchen and shoving my face with whatever I can find!

Nom. I like pistachios too. But I like them in the shell because it takes longer for me to eat them and therefore I can't eat as many.

easternshoregirl day 16 was a good one! The first 10 min is a lot of breathing and a simple stretch you could def skip. If I do it again, I’d FF through all that

1. How many weeks/months PP are you? What is your weight loss goal? By when? 9 weeks PP. I want to lose 25, but I don’t have a set timeline right now. I was 165 before DS1 and went up to 210. I lost 50 and was 160 before DS2. I went back up to 210, and I’m currently 170 and looking to eventually land at my happy weight around 145. 2. What program(s) are you planning to use to get there? Do you want to be matched with an accountability partner? I am using WW, which I like because I can arrange my days around the things I am and am not willing to give up or restrict. At some point I’ll add regular exercise, but I’m going back to work on Monday and I want to settle in there before worrying about scheduling a gym or anything. 3. What supplies (bras, yoga mats, or weights, etc) do you need to purchase or find in the garage? (oh- just me? ). What yummy but healthy foods are on your grocery list for this first week? My breakfast and lunch will become standardized when I go back to work. Greek yogurt and banana for breakfast, salad with hard boiled eggs and chicken for lunch. Dinners will probably vary a lot and be my big meal for the day. 4. What out of the box idea(s) do you have for squeezing in a bit of extra exercise throughout the day? Squats during diaper changes or morning walks? I’ve been walking with the boys and trying to be up and moving as much as possible. I actually did squats while microwaving food the other day! 5. Questions or Comments for the group? Looking forward to getting fit again!

As a Canadian who has never gotten to try chick fil a yet... I am jelly! Maybe I'd be closer to my goal weight if I never tried it either 😝 I love CFA but I rarely eat it because the lines here are INSANE!! We have lots of CFAs and they are always crazy packed - like drive-thru lines that loop around the building... twice. It's good for my waistline that they're like that though at least ha.

I weighed in for the end of Round 2 for my DietBet and beat it by 2 lbs again woohoo!
Regarding alcohol since that was mentioned, it's just not feasible for me to cut it out entirely so I'm only drinking on Thurs, Fri, and Sat. I know I'd lose weight quicker if I cut those days, but I need it for my sanity and overall life happiness lol.

I almost wish our Chick Fil A was like that lol, but we have quite a few here so the lines are long but not unmanageable. And I completely agree on alcohol...I would rather have it take a bit longer to lose the weight and enjoy my weekends!

I haven’t fully read, but can I be added?
I had a random customer ask me today if I was expecting. It’s been a rough week, I almost started to cry. Never ask someone that!

LT for being added, definitely not to that jerk. But for real I think 3 mos pp and 3 mos pregnant are similar looking for most people. You are not alone. We are starting for real on Monday so check in here and figure out what will work for your time and budget and join us!
