Today I take the girls to a nature class. The class is really cute, and DD1 loves it, but lately going anywhere is a stressful coin toss on whether she’ll have a public meltdown, or just be defiant and uncooperative when it’s time to go.
Yesterday we drove to a far away playground because some friends invited us. DD1 only wanted to swing, and when I took her off so others could have a turn, she threw herself on the ground crying and kicking. Refused to play anywhere else, just wanted to cry about the swings. So I told her her behavior was unacceptable and we were going home. She keeps trying to yank her hand out of mine to fall to the ground. I finally get her in her car seat and she is SCREAMING. We will never be going back to that playground.
tl/dr my two year old is a nightmare.

Woke up for the first wake up with DD at 2:45. Go to feed her in the nursery and hear “mommy, I threw up.” Ugh! I had to get DH up to clean him up since I was feeding the baby. He had to change the sheets and his clothes and wash him up. Thankfully we got him back in bed with a bowl within 20 minutes or so. He got sick one more time but went back to sleep until 6:15. Now we’re up for the day and he’s just lying on the couch watching tv. He’s taking sips of liquid so we will see. I really hope it’s just a short thing and I can send him to school tomorrow. We have DDs two month appointment and the in-laws are coming to stay with DS.

E is at the back up center at my Hs work. It's just me and Liv. YAAAS.
She fell asleep on me though and when I transferred her to the swing she woke up. But it looks like she's asleep again 🤗
I'm reading for school. I have some returns to do at the mall today and maybe I'll even like.. Do something I like. Like bake. I'd see suck pads but I'm waiting on my order with Zorb to be shipped from the internet.

So I ordered a trunk from Trunk Club because I go back to work in a month and I wanted new clothes that fit this new pp body a little better.
Holy balls, the prices are crazy.
And I didn't like most of it!
I did however like a pair of jeans ($108 - wtaf), a cardigan ($58.. I can stomach this), and the sandals & flats she sent (Tom's, so $80 a pair - again, eeeep). But that's still like $350 in total for 4 things! Holy crap.
I have a Stitch Fix box on the way too because I have a Style Pass so I don't pay for boxes for the year. I'm waiting for it to ship so I can peek at it. I reeeeally liked the jeans from Nordies but I'm not sure I can really justify that price. But they fit me now! And they're high enough rise to hide me pudge. At the same time, they fit me now, and I'd like lose some weight.
But I won't get another Trunk Club box. Eeeeep.
I am the worst at shopping even though I really like it, which is why I do the boxes. I never pick out things that go with everything. I just don't have that kind of eye.

Dear L, 5:30am is a very unreasonable time to wake up for the day (especially after waking every 2 hours MOTN). GTFBTS. Love, Mom
I guess I’ll just get up and make coffee, sign. 😴😞

We usually go out to eat every Saturday but have taken a break because by dinner time we’ve usually had a few melt downs and I don’t think my patience can handle one at dinner time. He doesn’t listen and we almost always have a tantrum when leaving somewhere. But I continue to try because I don’t want to stay home all the time and naively think it will somehow be different one of these days.

I’m so tired. DH has been working long hours after work on his business so I’ve been doing all the wake ups which are still every 3 hours. And B is going to be 4 months in 2 days! Her 4mo check up and shots is next week so I’m anxious to see what she weighs since her last weigh in was at 6w. Here’s a pic from daycare last week And both girls in their matching pjs!

For the last week Faith has been sleeping like crap after weeks of 1 wake up and sometimes sleeping all night. She is 13 weeks today and I see there is a wonder week/leap at 12-13 weeks. I hope this ends soon because I feel like I have a newborn again. I've been bringing her back to bed with us after a few wake ups because she sleeps a lot better with us. I do not want to have a long term bed sharing arrangement... Last night there was a lot of screaming for no reason (fed, clean diaper, etc.) which was making us both pull our hair out. I'm not talking just a little fussy, this was full out tantrum with red/purple crying. I'm hoping today goes better. She is still sleeping in our bed for the moment... Here is her 3 month picture from yesterday.

sarahh where are those pj’s from?! Love em! Hope everyone else feels and sleeps better tonight. It’s my 3rd day back at work. Things are going well and I like having a routine again. I miss my little baby, but already feel a little more like myself again. Also baby only got up once in 11.5 hours. Holy crap it was amazing.

Oh sorry I am talking so much today.
But O gave me a 5 HR stretch last night!
She didn't wake up until 230 to eat. Or I was too tired and didn't hear her anytime before that 😂 THEN she gave me another 2.5hr stretch! I'm so full of energy today!

aprilz81 leaps are fun. You'll soon learn your baby's "leap" behavior, it's very fussy / not sleeping type stuff.. Wait til she picks up new physical milestones. She won't sleep and will rather stay up and practice!!! I keep telling myself it gets better. My DS1 STTN finally by like 16mo. There IS light at the end of the tunnel!

Today the kids and I have to go out to pick up a used exersaucer I found on a localish Facebook page (I have to drive to another town on the same highway as us, not a big drive). I thought I’d get a second one to put outside so I had more places to set my poor immobile baby haha. My other two did the 4-9ish month stretch through the winter so I have no outdoor baby toys! We go past my mom’s work to get there so I arranged the meet up so we could go for lunch with my mom after. I took so many pictures this week lol! I’ll cut it down. DS did everyone’s hair one night, including baby sister! My partner in crime at the indoor playground while the other two ran around All 3!

I noticed yesterday that her flailing arms were a little more intentional on the play mat. Several times she intentionally looked at a toy and reached out to grab it. I was Facetiming with my mom and we both saw it. I won't say it is the first time she has done it, but it was the first time I saw her reach for something. This is the first really fussy period that has lined up with a "leap", we've sailed through the others relatively unscathed, but this is rough. And I'm dreading the 4 month sleep regression... Or maybe she is doing that a month early? lol

We are doing well here. I'm in my final stretch before going back to work next Tuesday so I'm squeezing in all the stuff I didn't do during my other 11 weeks off! I sorted some of DS's clothes that we got from friends and re-organized his closet. I've also been making yard sale piles! Get it all out of here! I made a ham and bean soup in the IP for our dinner for tonight. V had an amazing night. I had sleep anxiety and hard boobs for about an hour before she woke up but that's OK. She went down at 7:45 and slept until 4:30 and then back down until almost 8. DS still doesn't reliably STTN at 2.5 years old so I feel like I earned this one! Hopefully she keeps it up. And our naps were crap yesterday until I put her down for her afternoon one on her side. Did that this morning too and she's been napping for an hour already (with a couple of cries that were resolved by popping the paci back in)! Way way better. I'm also logging a couple of her days to provide for DH/my mom for when they start taking care of her next week! I'll probably give too much info. I also sent them a bunch of links about breastmilk from Kellymom. My mom is great though and read it all and asked a couple of questions. Hopefully DH gets a chance to do so also.

PS bassa, my son's daycare provider is German and speaks German to the boys all day (it's only boys there!) and he switches the "v" for his "w" all the time. "I'm verking." "the biggest dino in the verld" etc. It is cute.
