Black panther was amazing. My absolute favorite thing about black panther was that the fight scenes were not too long and drawn out. I sometimes feel like the other marvel movies go a tiny bit overboard in the fight scenes. On top of that, it was gorgeous to watch, every single actor/actress did phenomenal and I left the movie smiling from an all around well made movie. I wish I was half as beautiful as Lupita Nyong’o. +1 to all of this. The fighting in some of the other movies honestly caused my eyes to glaze a bit. I fast forward a lot of fight scenes when I watch them over again.

Had these exact same thoughts. Also, where was Chris Evans?! (uh, clearly I am Team Cap, in case anyone was wondering.) Oh wait, he's on Broadway right now and probably couldn't make it. This just made me realize that 3 of the 4 Chrises will be in this movie! This made me think of this tweet that Hemsworth posted to Jimmy Kimmel:

Got to ask. Do you Dr. Strange fans like the character and the story or Benny? Just trying to figure out why this movie was popular.

I don't want to spoil Ragnarok but.....um.....yeah. There is something wrong with your theory. Obviously my brain doesn’t have room to process all the movies even though I did indeed see that one. He’s back on the leader list now. But he still is technically king because they “crowned” him at the end, and deferred to him for where to bring all the remaining Asgardians. Like the movies said, Asgard is a people, not a place. But maybe since Asgard is gone he won’t care as much about leaving earth?

Well at the end of ragnarok, when they asked him where they were going in the spaceship, he ended up deciding on Earth, so that’s probably where you got it! lol.

Ragnarok was just so so funny, but also badass in a ridiculous way. I liked the Shakespearean drama of the first Thor and the Loki stuff in the second, but I love that in Ragnarok, they really embraced that the whole gods in space thing is, you know, kind of silly, but without mocking it. Yes! It was hysterical. Plus add in Hulk/Bruce Banner and more Loki shenanigans? Perfection. Also, the soundtrack rocked. Second only to GOG1.

So excited, we have our tickets for Saturday afternoon.
H and I are probably going to start rewatching Ragnarok tonight. It's been my favorite of all of the Thor movies.
I'm also a big Guardians fan. And I loved Ant Man because Paul Rudd is fantastic. I love a funny guy.

I do think Loki probably dies, which I'm trying to process emotionally. If you take the mid-credit scene from Ragnarok, together with the fact that Thanos's henchpeople seem to be stepping over dead Asgardians in the trailer, the fact that Loki seems to be handing the Tesseract to Thanos in the trailer, and the fact that you only see Loki in that one scene in the trailer, then yeah. He dead. Which just sucks right after he and Thor came together at the end of Ragnarok. I hope it at least happens in a redemptive way, and not in a "surprise Loki betrayed everyone again!" way. [/p][/quote] Noooooooooooooooooooooo! NOT MY LOKI! *shoves fingers in ears* *hums lalalalalalalalalala"

You won't regret it. I could watch it 100 times. Not just Thor and Loki either -- Tessa Thompson is awesome as new character Valkyrie, the Hulk parts are hilarious, and Jeff Goldblum is a fucking scream as the Grandmaster. I second this. It is everything another Thor movie needed to be. Also, in case nobody has seen this yet, you're welcome: OMG. This is perfection.

I'm so excited to talk Infinity War. H hasn't wanted to delve into theories which is killing me. I'm your H. My husband keeps reading all the theories and conspiracies and spoilers. I have to remind him not to tell me anything. I like going in blind. I still haven't forgiven him for spoiling the second Sherlock Holmes movie with RDJ, while we were sitting in the theater watching it.

Dr. Strange and Ant Man have been my least favorites. I watched them because I had to. As much as I love RDJ, Iron Man 3 was a miss too. I much preferred Iron Man 3 to 2. I liked how we got to see Tony dealing with the aftermath of the Battle of New York. I feel like it set up Ultron nicely. Iron Man 2 is definitely one of the worst, if not the worst. And yet it's my husband's favorite. *shakes head*

I totally forgot about the new Spider-Man. Damnit. My list is getting longer. I really enjoyed it, much more than Andrew Garfield or Tobey Maguire. Has everyone seen Tom Holland's Lip Sync battle? Hot as fuck!

I'm trying to think if Thor was the movie we saw really late at night. It was either that or the last Star Wars. MH bought 9:00 tickets which was annoying, but then they had to delay the movie because they were showing it too many times at once. So it ended at like 1 am and I was so tired. I think it was Star Wars, but I must have been tired at the end of Thor to not retain any information about how the film ended.

I think there is a good chance that Cap and/or Tony die which means I am devastated. I am a Team Cap girl all the way.
I would be fine with Black Widow taking over as leader, her and Cap were co-leaders before Civil War.
Civil War spoilers................
I actually hated Civil War but Im team every one made some really bad choices here. I hated the Zemo storyline, so much of his plan relied on sheer luck. And to give them 3 days to sign the Accords is ridiculous, there were definitely some issues with it and nothing good comes from pushing through legislation like that. And coming from General Ross, hello did everyone forget what he tried to do with Hulk? And Tony, lets not forget who made the murder bot. And Wanda saved way more lives than people died, the only reason it was such a big deal is because they were Wakandans. That shit would have taken out the entire market if not for her.

I also think they kill Hawkeyes family, set pictures from Avengers 4 shows him dressed as Ronin.
I am pretty meh on Doctor Strange, but I did love the visuals. I also thinks hes important not just because he has the time stone for Thanos but because there is speculation that they go back in time in Avengers 4, there are set photos showing Chris Evans in the suit he wore in Avengers standing by current Tony Stark.

Got to ask. Do you Dr. Strange fans like the character and the story or Benny? Just trying to figure out why this movie was popular. Both. I thought the movie was visually stunning (I initially saw it in the theater) and I enjoyed the storyline. Plus I think Benny played the character well. I am not a Benny fangirl usually.

And you have to deal with the consequences. With great power comes great responsibility. LOL. H and I say that to each other all the time. Then dissolve into laughter.

We got our tickets a month ago for Saturday but then I had a death in my family and we have to reschedule. I am so bummed. Obviously I am sad about the funeral and stuff but I was SO FREAKING EXCITED to see this this weekend in the IMAX and all of the other showtimes we wanted to see are sold out. It had better still be there the next weekend.
