Ultimate goal: to make exercise part of my every day routine (and eventually get back into a bikini!)
This week's goal: yoga everyday and at least one long walk.
How are you doing so far? So far so good, really need to add some cardio as well as up my fruit/veg intake.
RRAW: 43 days of yoga! I even found time to do it this weekend with the ILs staying with us. I’m kind of excited to see how many days straight I can go!

Ultimate goal: To get back to my normal body and be back in a bikini by summer. Get rid of the extra weight I've gained since our loss.
This week's goal: To hit at least 10 000 steps a day. And stop it with the junk!
How are you doing so far? Good! Went for a 2 hour walk yesterday with DD. Going to walk during lunch hour at work this week too.
RRAW: Killed my back carrying DD up the stairs in her stroller yesterday when she fell asleep on our walk and I didn't want to wake her when we got home. Ouch today. Also we're currently living with my parents and they keep buying all the junk food...and because I'm celiac they keep buying junk I can eat...which I never waste my money on...but now I feel bad that they are buying it so I eat it. I told them yesterday they need to stop. They came home with gf brownies and pie. I might be doomed. I normally don't even buy myself bread. Someone give me some will power!

Ultimate goal: To feel good in my clothes again.
This week's goal: I want to get in at least 2 days of yoga, I'm getting the house ready to do a garage sale with my mom so I have a ton of stuff to work on, so I think 2 days is a good goal without being overwhelming right now.
How are you doing so far? Not good, in January I did the yoga bootcamp Adrienne does and I loved it, I was still doing really well in February and then fell out of it because of obsessing over TTC.
RRAW: Not too sure what this means, lol

remi - I think it means rants, raves, and AWs. One of the reasons I love Adriene’s videos is there is always something I can do even if it’s just a short bedtime yoga video. I’ve been doing some longer more intense videos lately but if I run out of time in the day I know I can force myself to put aside even 15-20 minutes before bed. It’s really helped me to give myself the leeway that I don’t have to do a crazy workout but I have to do something. It’s cheesy but, as you probably know, Adriene always congratulates you for taking the time to do something for yourself - I’m not one to take time for myself so those few minutes spent only for me feel reeeeaaally good. sammysam, I do yoga during nap time or after DS is in bed. H actually does bedtime every night so sometimes that’s my yoga time. It’s definitely tough to squeeze in exercise with kids, it sounds like your walks are the perfect solution!

charliefox, I totally get what you're saying. She's very good at making you feel like you're doing something great for yourself and it doesn't feel overdone. She's just a genuine person and I love how she does things. You're giving me the pep I need to start it up again!

Ultimate goal: Look good/ feel good for the family pictures we're having done next month. It's the first professional pictures we're taking since our wedding and engagement pictures in 2014 and I don't want the only thing I see with these pictures is how much bigger I am now. This weeks goal: go for a long walk at least a couple more times this week. I live in Texas so I only have about a month left before it gets too hot to walk long distances outside. How are you doing so far: not very good. Definitely got out of the healthy eating and working out habit this past week. RRAW: I think the main thing I need to work on is portion control. I got so used to huge portions sizes while I was breastfeeding and it's been hard to retrain myself to eat normal sizes now. I have gained back all the weight I lost while breastfeeding since December when I quit 😬 charliefox, remi, Are the Adriene videos on YouTube or do you have a DVD? She sounds worth checking out!

Ultimate goal: Lose 10 pounds
This week's goal: Get into the work gym every day and walk. I would like to hit 10,000 steps on my FitBit. Also to not snack when I get home from work and cook healthier dinners.
How are you doing so far? Today is day one! So far so good . RRAW: My weakness is the ravenous hunger I feel when I get home from work. I need to turn to healthier snacks at this time.

sammysam Thank you for starting this! I really needed this to give me some motivation and accountability. I understand the struggle you feel with parents buying you junk. My dad always buys us so much junk food for us when we go over there for dinners. He made a pie last Sunday and I find it so hard to say no when everyone else is eating it! I haven’t made it into the gym yet, but I’m going to go in about an hour. charliefox Damn girl! So awesome about your yoga. I really like Adrienne also! The last time I tried to do it though, DD would not stop climbing all over me. It was super annoying so I gave up. remi I totally know what you mean about obsessing over TTC and quitting exercise. It literally makes it hard for me to focus on anything else. It’s so frustrating. sunny75 I feel you on trying to get out while the weather is nice. Utah in the summer is unbearable so I really need to get out there while it’s tolerable. Portion control is so damn hard!

remi there is still a small and irrational part if me that feels exercise contributed to our loss...that and I always think that exercise while TTC is going to push all the swimmers out rather than encourage them to come in. So I am a super slacker during my FW and TWW. I need to fix this. But I get TTC affecting exercise.

sunny75 I breast fed DD for almost 4 years. I finally dried up during my hospital stay in Septemer/October so my loss coincided with stopping BFing...which I think is a big reason why I gained the weight. My body got so used to being able to eat more calories with no consequences because of BFing. Which of course doesn't work any more:/

wildhoney I'm also terrible with snacking. I now don't eat at all after 5pm. Only water or tea. Sounds silly but it totally works for me. And if you like bananas I throw a banana, cup of milk and 6 ice cubes in the blender to curb my sweet tooth. Like a milk shake without the ice cream:) And it's filling.

wildhoney, snacks are a good idea. H is the same way, comes home from work STARVING and then over eats. Maybe keeping granola bars or something in your car/bag so you can snack on the way home. Or setting an alarm to remind you to have a snack at the midway point between lunch and dinner?

I still need 3000 steps today but it's raining outside:( I've hit my step goal for 6 straight days but the toddler is sick so today has been a dud. I'm gonna try to get in a long walk this evening. I did do day 44 of yoga today though!

And I hear you on the not wanting to workout during the TWW. It's nerve wracking. I also don't usually feel like working out during the first few days of my cycle. So that only leaves like a week where I'm really concentrating on working out. That's probably a lot of my problem lol.

OK. Yesterday sucked. I didn't get my last 3000 steps AND I ended up eating crackers and gummy bears before bed. Gah! OK. New day today. I will have to walk in the rain but I'm ok with that! I always weigh on Friday and at the moment I feel like I've gained back the 4 lbs I lost. I hope not. Tell me to leave the sugar alone!

I also missed my step goal by like 2000 steps yesterday which killed my streak. Today is a new chance to kill it though! Also, THROW OUT ALL THAT SUGAR. I find it’s much easier if the junk isn’t in the house. GL today 😊

But thank you for yelling at me:) It will give me motivation to not touch it tonight. Herbal tea only!!! It stopped raining so I'm hoping DD and I can walk to her gymnastics tonight. That will get my steps in at least!

That I can do. And I live doing stairs. So I'm over my 10 000 steps already tiday. And only water since 5pm. No sugar;)
