We are at the museum and the baby is finally content and napping in the K'tan. D1 is overwhelmed by all of the kids though and she gets too scared to ask to share and play with them. It's funny she will talk to adults all day but has a hard time doing the same with kids.

I walked both kids over to play group today- G in the stroller while I had A in the carrier and the backpack diaper bag on me. Laughed about how crazy I must look and the program leader looks at me and suggests putting the backpack under the stroller for the way home....
Oh.... right.

snowmoon lol 😆 I’m sorry, I laughed so hard at this. I put a dozen eggs away in my cupboard where I keep my butter. I left the butter on the counter. I understand your pains mattsgirl2004 that is disgusting and I am so sorry.

mattsgirl2004 ugh i’m so sorry that sounds like a nightmare. truly. you need to catch a break. cp3 glad the museum was a success! it’s always so much worse thinking about what could go wrong when you go out (most of the times anyways)

E's preschool sent an email about an "extreme illness" going around so I'm trying not to spiral out on what that could be. I played the newborn card and asked them what it was so hopefully they tell me.
My H handles the first MOTN feeding, but I swear he never gives her enough time because she always is still fussing 20 minutes later so I have to give her the rest of the bottle anyway.

Thanks guys. After our walk to the park, I got back to discover he also pooped in his kennel. So, I had to drag that outside and hose it out. Makes me gag thinking about it all. I'm glad that yesterday is over and today is a new day.

The universe wants to fuck with me- my dryer is broken and I have a newborn at home😑
We ordered a new set online (the ones we have now came with the house when we bought it 4 years ago and who knows how old they were before that) and should be delivered/installed tomorrow. Please oh please🤞🏻

mattsgirl2004 ugh...I hope you get a break today. Tuesday night both boys slept great. Last night both boys slept terribly. Older DS was up 3 times due to scary dreams and younger DS was super gassy. This morning DS1 got my husband’s cologne and accidentally sprayed some in his eyes. Now he is at daycare and smells like cologne. 🤷♀️

I'm glad that yesterday is over and today is a new day. My 90 pound lab did something similar once, and rolled in it. It was so, so bad and I probably need therapy for it. You are a super human dealing with that on top of kids. Bless you.

I'm so glad I did, because he did it again!! DH will be home tonight and it's his dog. He can deal with it. Not cleaning that kind of a mess again 2 days in a row. It's warm out today, so the dogs can spend the day hanging outside in the yard.

I was in such a haze overnight. I don’t know if the baby actually gave me a 4.5 hour stretch between feedings for the first time ever, or if he woke up somewhere in there and I just nursed him and put him back down without fully waking up or logging the feeding in my app. I guess, either way, I still feel more rested today?
Also, I finally got the full gallery from our newborn session and I’m in love 😍

I’m here for my ultrasound. It feels so weird to be doing this and not be knocked up.

Today was one of those days where everything seems to go wrong and I have no idea how I'm going to survive SAH.
And D1 didn't nap at school so she had a meltdown at her follow up hearing test so we have to go for a third time because they couldn't finish it.

Thanks guys. I’m sure my dr is just being overly cautious because everything feels back to normal. It was a nice hour away from the children though.

I’m glad your doctor is being overly cautious AND everything seems well leatherpantsI read a spoiler for the movie Tully and I’m pretty upset. I was really excited to see it but it’s NOT the comedy/“real life” movie I thought it was. Charlize Theron’s character has post partum psychosis and it’s basically Fight Club - the mom is Tully. That’s the big plot twist after Tully offers to (and ultimately does) sleep with the dad. Obviously that is a very real experience for some moms, but I guess the movie also doesn’t show her getting any real help for it. A few articles I read expressed concern that the film depicts symptoms of severe PPP and PPA/D (as well as suicidal thoughts) as a normal part of motherhood instead of something that requires treatment, care, and respect.
I thought this would be a movie to see with a mom friend or even go alone and have a good laugh/cry over the amazing/challenging parts of motherhood.... apparently not.

Wow Leaf 🌱, that’s not at all what I thought it would be. How disappointing. I would have been pissed if I spent money on that.
