We finally have SPRING you guys! Hopefully y'all do too?!? I'm nursing DS and can see deep blue sky and an assortment of birds hoping around by the hedgerow. The huge forsythia looks like it's gonna bloom soon. 🐤🐦🕊🌞🎶

Yes, we have spring here too! DS played outside most of the day yesterday. He's outside with my mom right now digging for worms. It feels so nice to go outside and not be cold 😊

Oh glad to see this thread, I thought I lost track of days!
We are on day 2 of potty training DS1. Send all the good vibes my way please and thanks. (He’s actually doing pretty decent on recognizing he has to go, he’s just scared to actually release anything. Like he went 4 hours yesterday without peeing despite tons of fluids). DH and I are trading off watching the baby and DS1. I’ll give you one guess which one is easier!

I’m hoping spring is here to stay. Lows in the forecast are basically all above 40 and it looks like we’re going to hit 70 next week. I’m so glad. I’ve definitely found getting outside for a walk makes a huge difference in my mental state.

I thought surely someone would post on this board about the royal baby.
In other news I'm pretty sure you could see DS's cheeks from the back of his head of not for his ears lol. He's getting chubby. 😆

We have L’s 8 week check up tomorrow... with shots. Any recommendations for handling the shots and the grumpy baby afterwards?

Mostly lazy - we should have done this a few months ago but we were traveling for Christmas so no and then work was insane until I had the baby so we decided to wait until my leave. We are now on hour 5 with no pee. Damn that kid can hold it.

So it’s beautiful outside - I’m contemplating taking baby for a walk.... to the mailbox.
Also I leave for a seminar in Tulsa on Wednesday - with her. It’s my first time flying with such a tiny baby... but I’m excited too.

I have no idea why they fascinate me so much but she’s now had two of her three babies within a few weeks of both of mine. I mean we could totally be friends right?

It's been warm here the past couple of days too. We went to the zoo yesterday and it was so nice.
D1 is at school but I'm going to set up her water table today so she can play in it in the evenings and on days she doesn't have school.
The baby continues to spit up a ton and we are both having to change our clothes a few times daily. I don't know what to do about it since she doesn't seem to be fussy or anything. She fusses a little when she spits up but otherwise she is a content baby.

It is known I’m obsessed with Kate Middleton, right?
In other news, we just got home! Waiting for DD1 to come home. I miss her so much.

My first day with both kids by myself and it’s raining so we’re stuck inside. It hasn’t been too bad yet knock on wood. Js Thrush looks like it’s almost cleared up.

My BFF (who moved 2 years ago and lives on the other side of the country now) had her first baby this morning. We were so excited to be pregnant together, due only 10 days apart, and both with baby boys. I legit cried when I got her message at 4:30 a.m. So, so happy for her, but sad that we no longer live close to each other.
In other news, it's spring here too and I went for an hour long walk with my neighbor this morning. It was so nice to get out of the house, but I'm super sore now too. I can't wait to be fully healed.

mattsgirl2004 that is so sweet that your BFF had her baby so close to yours! And all the baby boys. I knew 3 people IRL(friends my age) having babies within 6 months of me. All four of us had boys within a month's time. I figured Kate would have a girl then lol.

Spring here in Michigan, too. Toddler was a sweaty chalky mess when I picked her up from my mom following my NST this morning, so she's since been wiped down & changed into shorts and a boho-y top. It's currently 70 degrees.

cp3 Sorry about all the spit-up. That seems like more than a normal amount for a young baby to be having. Hopefully it starts to slow down and lessen with time.

mattsgirl2004, I went for a walk today too and discovered out new playground does not have benches yet. I am legit dying over here. How big is too big for clots? I am a little concerned. I am resting quietly on the couch now, but obviously that won't last long as the kids will be up from nap soon. ArielMermaid, Congratulations! That seems fast to go home. How are you feeling? yianna, What's the conference for? Is anyone going with to help you with baby or how does that work with a wee one at a conference.

It looks like I’m in the minority in that I’m not excited about things warming up. I hate bugs. And sweating. And summer clothes. I’m a huge grinch about the heat. sunshinedaisies Good luck with PTing! DS1 has peed in the potty for the past two nights before bathtime, after asking to, so I’m torn on whether to start working on it here too. Also, thank you for the encouragement in the other thread ❤️ We’re just trying to be the best parents and advocates we can for DS1. It helps to hear the reminder that a diagnosis/label doesn’t change a thing about him like how sweet and funny he is, and I wouldn’t want to change him! Well, maybe some of the meltdowns...

It's been springish/early summer here the past few days, too. It's supposed to get up to the 80s this week and I'm already a melted pile.
Give me back my early spring and 50-60°F/10-15°C weather. 😭😭
