I loved Arthur but I like Louis too. Welcome to the world Prince Louis!

Did not see that coming, but I think they have chosen a good name.

UO, I don't like it. I actually didn't like any of the top choices, I was definitely hoping they'd switch it up. I was hoping for Alexander or a nod to her family.

I’m surprised they reused one of George’s middle names in the first spot. I like it though.

I'm lukewarm, but I'm sure it'll grow on me when he turns out as cute as his siblings.

I think it’s a little weird to use a middle name of the older sibling and father as a first name, but I’m not royal.
I like Louis well enough.

I love Louis! It fits perfectly with his siblings’ names, too.

Arthur was just starting to grow on me. I like Louis, it’s unexpected but in a good way.

I’m not a fan (but I also don’t care for George, either), but if they love it, that’s what matters

William has both Arthur and Louis as his middle names (along with Philip).
I do like that they used Charles as well.

ArielMermaid thank you! I was googling everyone’s full names to figure out where Louis came from! I’d forgotten Lord Mountbatten’s first name.

Does anyone know, will they say the name phonetically (ending with an S), or like “Louie” (like Vuitton). I guess I mean, any Brits in attendance who know how it is generally pronounced?

If you listen to William say his full name at his wedding, he pronounces it like "Louie" so I imagine it's the same for the baby.

MH has decided Albert is a good name for the boy I'm currently cooking. I can't decide if I'd like it or not, but Bertie is a cute nickname. At least he wouldn't be a prince Names are so much based on taste but I do really love Albert. It's also a very international name and you have it in most European countries, although it's pronounced a bit differently. I also would have loved to have a little Bertie.

I love the name. It seems perfect for the "baby" of the family too.

Love Louis!
Had we had a boy, Louis woukd have been the middle name.
The full name flows well and it's a nice homage to Mountbatten.

I have friend who named her DS Louis and calls him Lou. It’s adorable.

I think it's cute and miles better than Albert or Arthur. Also like that it's one of Wills' names.

I don’t like it, but it’s better than Albert. I also don’t like George though, so I guess I just need to accept that they don’t take my baby naming advice.
Rude.

I didn't even know Louis was an option and I now love it the most.
Plus, I'm partial to Brits named Louis.
