Any one super happy with a baby item or just want to throw it against the wall?
Rave: Cloud Island sleepers! They are only $13 for a three pack and they have the good zipper direction so you can just open up the bottom. I wish they had more colors.
Rave: Old Navy Rockstar 24/7 jeggings. I went 2 sizes up from my regular size - reviews agree they run a little bit small and I wanted to be comfortable. They look great and are high enough to keep my tummy in check. Two thumbs way way up.
Rant: all nursing bras. I can’t find anything that fits and I look terrible.

Also, shout out to cloth diapers for never, ever giving us a blowout and saving all of my favourite outfits.
This post brought to you by the blowout we just had in a disposable that ruined the little white eyelet romper with the peter pan collar before I could get a picture.

Leaf 🌱 I love the cloud island sleepers. They also seem to be longer than other sleepers which works well with DSs length.

I will join the rant about nursing bras. So so frustrating. This is my second post about my stupid giant boobs in the last 5 minutes. Lol. I have seriously bought and returned so many bras from Amazon. Infuriating.

Rave:. Halo bassinest. Love it. So easy to calm her in the MOTN because she's right next to me.
Rave:. Copper pearl bandana bibs. So absorbent and cute.

Rave: +1 to the Cloud Island sleepers. I just bought them in every color and every size. They’re soft, stretchy, and I love the inverted zipper. Rant: add me to the list of nursing bra haters. nuggetrn I swear amazon must think I’m trying to pull one over on them with all the buying/returning I’ve been doing.

I read your post in the other thread and was like yep, that's me. DH thinks I am completely insane. Hey, free shipping and free returns.... I have like 5 things in my trunk to take to UPS tomorrow.

Another Rave for cloud island sleepers. Inverted zipper and longer.
Also Wabsnubs (or however you spell them). They really do make it easier for the baby to keep the pacinon their mouth and from rolling away.

Our bed is really high, so the halo has to be high to be level with the bed, and it’s hard for me to lift him up and in without bumping the side and waking him up. Plus I just could not sleep with all his noises right next to me. We should probably give it another try. We haven’t used it in over a month and L is sleeping a little better now, so it might work out.

I’ve always wanted my kids to like the pacifier attached to those bc cute (oh and also bc it seems like it would be easy to keep the paci in their mouth) but both my kids hate those green soothies. The only pacifiers my kids will take are the mam ones. Case in point: this kid hated pacifiers for the first 6 week. We thought he just didn’t like them and then we bought the mam ones (smart us - it only took 6 weeks to realize this is what DS1 likes) and now he won’t let go. 😂

+ eleventy to the cloud island sleepers. DS just outgrew all the ones he had 😢
These are all raves:
Halo Swaddle Sacks are the BEST. He loves them and uses them for all sleeping. I am hoping my mom is sending me more because the newborn ones are almost too short.
A white noise machine. He will sleep anywhere and go back to sleep easily with this. I can't really recommend the one I have because I wouldn't be able to go to sleep with it in my room. I hear the loop repeats and weird background noises in the recording. I want one that has batteries plus plugs in, can be run continuously(not only on a timer), preferably small enough to put on his carseat, and under $50.
The O-ball toy bar. He has the Nuna Leaf seat and I have it on there, but I plan to also put it on the carseat and stroller when he's bigger.
Dreft laundry spray.

Okay you all convinced me to go look at those sleepers everyone keeps recommending.
I definitely agree about the white noise machine. Both of my kids love them - they are like magic.
For stains - nothing ever works better for me than Fels-Naptha. It takes out every kind of stain - blood, grease, random undetermined stains, and as I’ve recently discovered baby poop.
I’ve gotten two different kinds of the bandana bibs and damn those things are absorbent. I don’t remember which brand - just have gotten them off of amazon.

+1 on the Cloud Island sleepers. I bought two sets of 3 in NB and 0-3 months size. I love the zipper for MOTN diaper changes.
Raves: Baby K'tan has been a life saver especially in the evenings when she wants to be held constantly.
RNP and bouncer for elevated sleep which helps the spit up, receiving blankets to help contain the spit up as burp clothes are not big enough. Aveeno baby wash and lotion. Other stuff makes her break out but this doesn't.
Not really rants but things we got that aren't being used: bassinet and sleep sacks. She will not sleep in the bassinet and hates for her arms and legs to be contained so she goes to sleep unswaddled.

cp3 I was about to come in here to express my love for the baby k’tan. I got it last night, B had been fussy AF today, I put it on, put him in and he’s out. Finally. Plus I can sit to eat and it was super easy to figure out.

Raves: - Rock and Play really helps with sleep during the spit up stage. It also seems to provide a cuddle that neither the flat pack and play nor crib can.
- Dr. Brown's formula pitcher if you are FFing. Make multiple bottles worth your have at hand, especially for the growth spurt days.
- Nose Frida is better than any hospital issued bulb syringe. I can see what got sucked out.

Raves Love to dream swaddle up suits. Sleepers with two way zips. Basic cheap sorbelene cream- use on a wipe to get poop off baby’s balls. TMI. Sorry. For in a couple of months- the fisher price sit me up- without it I would never have gotten a morning shower when I was home with DS1 Rants Sleepers with snaps or buttons. I have been gifted so many but fuck me they are a pain in the arse. Ergo cocoon swaddle suits- they’re too tight in the neck area I stupidly bought three while I was pregnant and im annoyed at myself for washing them all before he was born so now I can’t return any of them.

I think that may be the only one available to me through insurance 😬 but I may be able to pay to upgrade to something else. Everybody raves about it but I don’t love the setting options. I have to stay in the “letdown” mode the entire time to really empty. I had a PISA last time and I plan to pull it out and try that today to see if there is any difference in pump volume. I definitely think it’s a personal preference because like I said, basically everyone else loves it🙈
