Also, I'm pretty sure DD was in the same diaper for over 5 hours today. We cloth diaper so I know how many she goes through in a day and she was only sent home with two. Her paper says she was wet twice and pooped once. I think they just added an extra insert over the wet part and put it back on after she went potty. I'm trying to be rational and reasonable about this, but it's not working. So there was an extra insert in the wet bag? Are your inserts microfiber? Because those aren’t supposed to be against their skin (I know you know this). Regardless, why would they do that??

Um, I thought the sun *was* better for you than tanning UVs. I could be wrong though.
And I just realized, I don't care.

Sometimes drinking threads aren't very fun DD’s dance recital is Sunday and today was the dress rehearsal. 10 3-4 year olds in red sparkly tutus and huge hair bows are amazingly cute. I also got a sitter for DS and am going alone...the venue serves booze and DD will be with other parental volunteers in a dressing room for the duration.

I'm so old that we used to sit outside with baby oil on our skin. Then I moved on to tanning beds in college.
So, y'all can just feel sorry for my skin and cancer risks.
I am a faithful sunscreen user now and haven't tanned since my 20s, so nothing to flame that I can do anything about now.

I guess where I’m at is... would y’all come at someone this strong if they said they stepped out to smoke a cigarette?

It's H's birthday so we went out for brinner. So many pancakes.
I bought a cross stitch thing to try since I'm trying to spend less time zoned in front on the TV. I'm also hoping it's mentally engaging enough to distract me from my anxiety.

Seeing what her chest looked like was all I needed to see to never try tanning. I have a natural tan so that kind of helps, but DNW a giant freckle on my body.

I've never gone to a tanning bed. My high school health teacher/school nurse told us once about burning her nipples so badly while tanning that they blistered and scabbed. That was an effective anti-tanning PSA for me.

Because those aren’t supposed to be against their skin (I know you know this). Regardless, why would they do that?? I send extra inserts for naptime diapers since she was leaking through them. Yeah, they are microfiber sometimes, but it's only for like two hours. It's easier to send the extra inserts and have them add as a layer on top than having to send specific diapers for naptime and make sure that's the one they use. So by her diaper having the extra insert on top means they either kept her in the same diaper since naptime or they added an insert over it after she went to use the potty at 3pm.

I'm too drunk for sunscreen and also drunk enough for a cigarette.
Is that right? Is that what we are doing right now?

Here’s a funny random. So my boss and I haven’t worked at the same time in two quarters. She worked remotely and I covered those hours.
This quarter we work 3 half days together. We apparently have the exact same aesthetic, because we routinely show up in almost the exact same iteration of outfit daily.
Today we both had black dresses with tights and turquoise jewelry. Last Thursday we both had black pants and striped shirts with copper toned jewelry.
I shall update the ransoms tomorrow if we are wearing the same thing again.

H got a form of skin cancer from a tanning bed, so I’m a no on them.
That’s not to say I didn’t have a tanning membership in my early 20s, because I did. I’m pale as a ghost and vain.

So I just completely depressed myself---I figured out the total number of days we have spent in the hospital since December. Non consecutive it has been 72 days.

I could go for a cigarette I’ve never been a smoker, but occasionally when I smell the hipsters cloves, I am taken back to sharing with my college roommate. I don’t think I could actually smoke one, but the thought occasionally crossed my mind. Totally trashy and accepting of that.

I think it's equally stupid to smoke and tan nowadays when we know both can kill you.

I used to smoke them with my late college bff. Sometimes when times are really tough I light one up. It helps me think about what he would say. He was that "fuck it-follow your dreams" friend that I truly believe everybody needs. I nocurr if that makes me trashy.
