I posted in randoms asking for TV show recommendations since I listen/watch stuff on my Kindle when it's slow at work. And itsmemeg said it was threadworthy so here we go! Recommend your current and past faves. Bonus points to you if you tell us where they are available for streaming. 😊

I'm just about finished rewatching Weeds and need something I can binge until I go out on maternity leave May 4th (and after once I'm stuck in newborn feeding/nap jail).
I also currently already keep up with: Riverdale, Lucifer, Good Girls, Roseanne, Supernatural, Shadowhunters, New Girl, Shameless and as soon as it comes back, The Originals.

I've recently been binging The Ultimate Beastmaster on Netflix which is similar to American Warrior Ninja. H makes fun of me whenever he finds me watching it.
I'm usually super into baking competitions but have watched all of the ones on Netflix.
I plan to (finally) watch Outlander during ML time. I have them on bluray (and have ready all the books at least once) just haven't found time to watch them.

Netflix - I just finished watching Timeless, Outlander is of course amaze-balls (I now have 5 books in the series to keep me company on my leave), Altered Carbon was good, but lots of violence and nudity if that's not your thing, Travelers I rec'ed to my Dad
TV - I'm enjoying Siren, I have to catch up on The Good Doctor, The Runaways, Burden of Truth

Grey's Anatomy, The Office, Parks and Recreation....those are my go tos if I don't know what to watch. All on Netflix. These are also my go-tos to rewatch, along with Gilmore Girls, which I recently went through again. I’ve been saving Grey’s Anatomy in particular to rewatch during maternity leave. Other series I’ve enjoyed that can be found on Netflix: Shameless Lovesick Broadchurch Sherlock

Last newborn phase I watched Friends. Not sure what I'll do this time with a toddler around the whole time.
But the shows I watch on Netflix that don't require a lot of brain power are: The Magicians, 13 Reason Why, Scandal, Grey's, How to get away with murder, Blacklist.

robot fun fact: 13 Reasons Why is partially filmed in my tiny hometown (still live here). All the school parts, at least. I went to that high school. It's bizarre watching it because I'll recognize bits and pieces but the way they do it also makes it semi-unrecognizable. For example, the real name is not Liberty High. And it's funny because we'll drive by it when they happen to be filming and they legit change the name on the school at the main entrance sometimes. I would have thought they would just edit something like that in. It's a pain in the butt to get around when the crew is here because they put up directional signs and we have a lot of one way streets in our small downtown area. You can tell the people who are just in town for filming because they get super confused trying to find their way. Makes traffic...interesting. I've always thought it's weird they come all the way here to film...I'm sure they could have found a comparable school in LA or something like most shows do.

One of my BILs is an actor and he’s in some of the school scenes of that show. I know which town you mean. It’s gorgeous there! All of mine and DH’s family live not too far away. Do you know the show Veronica Mars? They used to film a lot of that on my college campus and it was always a mess when they were filming. But that was in San Diego so at least it makes a little more sense, locale-wise.

We are plowing through Shameless right now. I don't know how I ever missed seeing it before but it is so easy to watch a couple episodes in a row.
I also liked Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (Hulu?).

I did Grey's Anatomy last time. I want to do One Tree Hill but I will probably skip to later seasons because I have seen the first so so so many times.
I will probably rewatch Hart of Dixie and I want to do Harry Potter. I haven't watched the first few movies in a long time. I'm on my second round of listening to the audiobooks.
I've also thought about doing Private Practice, which I have only seen bits and parts of, and ER, which I stopped watching around season 7 or 8 (?) when it was on.
