It's like microbes don't want us to eat healthy 🤔 lol. Salad, fruit, eggs, hummus. The Listeria in ice cream was just a tragedy.

So the tap water in my office has suddenly turned black. They are doing water main work outside and apparently that has caused some minerals in the water. I am very very grossed out by this even though intellectually I know it isn't harmful. Like, I don't want to eat in the cafeteria today or wash my hands in the bathroom. Drinking it is obviously not in the cards. Now to see how long I can go without eating or using the restroom.

This 2019 BMB is messing up my browsing flow - lol. I'm so used to 2018 being the first year on my app that I always just click 2019.

Just had an ultrasound and baby girl is measuring 28w, which is a whopping 99th percentile based on my “official” due date of 7/25. Since I think they should be using the original due date of 7/17, baby isn’t quite that huge....but still big.
Still waiting to see the doctor and am stuck here for another couple of hours doing my 3hr GTT again. I so love sitting in the drs office starving. At least they have free WiFi!

I'm very sorry to the earth, I recycled it afterward though.

tarheelmom, this one is measuring a bit ahead too, but my original due date was 7/10. I'm pretty sure they got it wrong lol. I think they got DD's due date wrong too, bc she was early, but looked full term. Plus she was 9lbs. If I had gone to term, *shudder*. Hope your test passes quickly!

😲 Just checked and my carton of eggs are listed on that second article. I just used some last night in dinner. Also have a bag of hearts of romaine in my fridge. Unopened, since I saw the recall on Sunday.

It's such a depressing day here! Ice, rain and cold, so DS got lots of screen time this morning. I debated on going out but decided that staying in was the better option. I'm very proud of DS 😊 He's done so great transitioning into his big boy bed/new room. I was worried that he wouldn't stay in bed since he was going from a crib to a queen but the only time he jumped out was on his first day taking a nap. My little boy is growing up so fast😭😭😭 We officially finished ds room but I am making excuses not to move him. I'm not ready! 😭😭😭

I'm not ready! 😭😭😭 I got emotional taking his nursery apart, especially since I left the rocker in there. We used that thing every single night for the last 3 years and our cuddles have not been the same on his bed😭😭😭I think part of it is my belly and trying to get comfortable reading on his bed but it has cut bedtime time by a few minutes which is good since it used to take us over an hour.

Yikes, I hope you and the toddler are feeling better today ohreally! I'm back to work and he's back to daycare so definite improvement! I'm still eating mostly crackers and bread but I can at least remain upright for extended periods. My weight gain was getting a bit out of control but this is NOT the way I wanted to manage it.

omg, i lucked out at the dentist. he was able to just patch the chipped off part of my molar rather than doing the crown right then. i was concerned about the mercury released when drilling into the old filling (it's a silver amalgam), and he said he was more comfortable just erring on the side of caution and waiting until after i had the baby. what a relief. i mean, it's annoying that i now have to deal with it at some future time, but i was so dreading having to deal with major dental work right now.
maybe it's just that my uterus is more stretched out each time, but god i feel like this baby is already really pummeling me! i can already feel what i assume are sharp little heels poking me in the side.

Unopened, since I saw the recall on Sunday. They said on the news that the eggs are ok if completely cooked through. All the sickness is from eating soft scrambled, runny yolk, raw or cross contamination during food prep. I have eaten my share of runny yolks this pregnancy so lucked out not getting any bad eggs. Especially considering they came from N.C.

DD stole my ultrasound picture, lol. She keeps hugging it and saying that she loves her baby sister’s skeleton.

I had my A/S today and baby girl kept yawning and sticking out her tongue. It was too cute. We took DS, almost 2 yrs, and he was a bit of a turd and hard to entertain. He's normally chill when out and about and at appts, but he refused to listen. I felt bad because H was trying to reign him and listen to the US tech. She was so quiet, I could barely hear her. But she confirmed that baby girl is still a girl and she is perfect. And I have another US in 8 weeks to check on her again. DS was IUGR due to my pre-e, so they're going to check on her often, which is fine with me.

Oh and my OB almost always has a student with him, which is awesome. He was talking her my uterus should be near my belly button at 20 weeks, so he had her check. Then she booped my belly button. I mean, I don't care, it was all in good fun. One reason I love my OB so much is because he's so laid back. It was just so odd.
