Good morning ladies! We are up and have had breakfast. MH is showering, G is on my iPad and I’m feeding the baby. It’s going to be sunny and warm today. I excited but it’s going to be 30 degrees colder tomorrow. We are going to the park later. Then we may do some grilling too.

I'm up, showered and breakfasted. DS had his first taekwondo class this morning, and I'm waiting at home to hear all about it from him and DH. DS also has a birthday party this afternoon, and i have to get groceries beforehand.

Morning!
Tonight we’ll be going to our town’s big year end hockey fundraiser. It supports all the local hockey teams and I’m so excited that DS will be included in the huge group pic with their jerseys that they do! It’s going to be sweet. Supper, visiting, general fundraising stuff, it will be a nice night out, but likely emotional given the timing. My parents decided they are going to come with us too. Otherwise probably just catching up around the house the rest of the weekend! It won’t be “warm” in the actual sense of the word, but the warmest we’ve had all year so it’s sure going to feel like it!

We’re playing outside while Mike the Wildlife Guy stands on a very tall ladder and patches all the holes around our house that might be letting in the squirrel my cat was stalking in the bathroom.
Wildlife Guy just said, “Your house is beautiful...I don’t like it. It’s making me work too hard.”
....Sorry? Thanks? 🤷🏼♀️

DH is being a jerk today. He has no patience and freaked out when he had to make a grilled cheese for DS. Starts saying how no one could wait a minute and he always had to jump up right away blah blah. I didn’t say anything because I don’t want to fight in front of the kids, but honestly what the hell does he think I do every day all day. I’m at the beck and call of both kids all the time with no breaks. I was almost in tears and I’m pissed at him. And to top it off, we actually had sex for the first time since December last night. I wasn’t feeling it at all, but I did it for him. But the baby interrupted us because she was hungry and when I got back I think he expected me to jump right back into it, but I was too tired and went to bed. So maybe he’s still irritated this morning, but too bad, he’s lucky I did anything at all.

It’s beautiful out today. We spent the morning at the playground and let DD1 fun wild. She made lots of friends and I ended up prying her out of the playground crying because she didn’t want to go. She must’ve burned lots of energy because she ate a huge lunch and passed right out for nap. She’s awake now and we’re gonna go back outside.
H is still sleeping. She slept in the Tula the whole time at the park. She now fits in it without the insert and it’s glorious. So much more convenient than having to finagle her into the damn insert ugh!

I went to DS1 swim lesson this morning thinking I had broken my fever. Jokes on me as it’s 101. This is fat freaking 11. I’m seriously getting depressed because I can’t do anything with my kids. So I guess I’m spending the rest of the weekend in bed.

Hi! I’m here. Very tired but here. We went to the park because it was very warm outside. We spent almost 3 hours there. Then we came home and grilled dinner. Now MH is attempting to put the baby to bed. G is watching big hero 6. She needs a quick bath before bed which will be very soon. Tonight is MHs D&D night. I have to figure out what I am going to do with my night. Probably sleep. Lol

Pretty good night and day over here. She slept 6 straight hours before waking to eat and then she got a little fussy until I took her back to bed with us. We got up for the day around 9:00 and she did her happy cooing and playing on the play mat so her Grandma could see her. MIL and I went out and did some craft shopping and stopped at a baby consignment store. She bought F a Baby Einstein walker thingy that I was going to buy. It was only $30 but it was nice to not spend that money and still have the stuff.
F and I took an almost 3 hour nap together this afternoon and it was lovely. I've missed my naps since I went back to work.
It was warm today but rained this afternoon. the weather is supposed to be mostly crappy next week so I'm still waiting for spring to show up, but it was nice to have some windows open for a few days to get some fresh air circulating in the house.

I survived Saturday with both kids while DH flew to LA for the day. My back is killing me though. DD1 was clingy and needy at gymnastics so I had to keep picking her up while wearing baby.
Later in the day we met some people at the park then went to a brewery for a beer while the kids ran around.
This morning when DH gets home we are going to walk to our favorite restaurant that’s a few miles away so I can get some exercise.
So my doctor prescribed me progesterone to jump start my period and they said to expect it on day 3 of the 7 days of pills. I just took the 6th day pill last night and still nothing. Now I’m worried that something is wrong. Hopefully it shows up tomorrow

The ice storm continues here today... so we probably won’t leave the house. Most of the businesses downtown (including mine) closed early yesterday because it was so bad. Will just get worse today.
I should really pull it together to go to aquafit at 9:15. It’s only a 20 minute walk from my house but I don’t know if I want to go outside.

Our interstates are still closed and no travel advised within city limits. I need out so I may walk to MIL a couple blocks away.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
I tried the Gerber soothe drops on Thursday night and last night, but I think they are causing diarrhea. Nothing else has changed in my diet and he had sooo many poops last night, I feel so bad for him 😭 If he is still having plenty of wet diapers do I need to worry?

Hmm sarahh, I always thought you were supposed to get your period a few days after you stop the progesterone. That the progesterone levels dropppng triggers your period.

sarahh I agree with flippinchica. I took progesterone a lot during IF treatments and my period usually started 2 days after stopping (one time it was 4 days). I took it for 10 days (I can't remember how long you said you're taking it).

Morning!
Last night was fun. Going to events in our town have gotten so much easier as the kids get older, they just run around with their friends most of the night. Eventually DD1 fell asleep on my mom’s lap so we came home then.
DS was such a sweet little ham on stage again for their big group team picture with all the players from town, like one of my friends who also had a kid in the preschool Christmas concert too came up to me while he was waving huge waves with both hands to our table and said “I really hope he never changes” 😂
H drank enough to buy us a portable BBQ in the auction so yay new camping toy!
I invited a friend over with her 3 year old to come puddle splashing this afternoon. It’s supposed to be 7C/45F which will be the warmest day it’s been this year!

DS2 came down with a stomach bug yesterday 😱 he was at my parents at the time and my mom insisted on keeping him which made me feel guilty but also helped me avoid the night of terror and cut down on germs here. I’m still terrified though.
I think a few families on the board have been hit by stomach viruses after baby was born. Did any babies get it? If you got it what precautions did you did for baby not to get it?
