J actually started kind of running today. I was shocked. She’s been walking for about a month and I guess she felt like she wasn’t moving fast enough. She doesn’t care about falling at all. We are still fighting the shoe battle. She refuses to wear shoes, which means she can’t walk outside and this frustrates her to no end. I don’t know what to do to get her to wear shoes! I'm in awe of these babies walking so early. I wonder what it is about shoes that she hates so much? Maybe now that it is warmer you can try sandal types that are more open? You know honestly I would take less mobility and more communication. She gets so frustrated when she can’t communicate what she wants. We will go buy some sandals this week. I really hope she will wear sandals.

Let her go out without shoes. She’ll learn

DS is *so* close to crawling. He does baby yoga instead. Either cobra or child's pose. He will briefly get up on hands and knees together, then get mad and roll on his back and scoot. It cracks me up, but I also think he'd be so much happier in motion so he could follow me around while I'm largely out of commission.

J started out army crawling and kept at that for a while before he got on his knees. He was pretty good at it too.

He's kind of like his sister in his DGAF-ness. "Eh, there's another toy that's closer. I'll play with that instead of crawling." He'll be the last September baby at school to crawl, but he was the first to sit. It's interesting how differently they all develop.

DS2 can walk but he knows it's easier/faster to crawl and will not do it for me to take a video of. Every time I start recording he just sits down. Stinker.
