Love that color scheme. I’m away from my desk, but I’ll pull some things.

I really like that second one, Tlex. I want to paint my front door and that might be the color.

Above: For this house in Connecticut, Brooklyn’s O’Neill Rose Architects used low-luster Benjamin Moore Brilliant White, which principal Devin O’Neill calls “a standard that always looks good.”

This is my favorite: Above: Interior designer Meg Joannides of MLK Studio in LA recently completed this Brentwood Park home. On the exterior, she used Sherwin-Williams Pure White, a true white that barely hints toward warm. The charcoal gray shutters are painted in Benjamin Moore Onyx.

For door colors: Take a color cue from your oldest, softest pair of old blue jeans for your front door. It gives your home an instant welcoming warmth. Just like your jeans that go with anything and everything, this color will too: try it on a white shingle house, a log cabin, a hacienda, or even a stately Tudor. It is key to select a finish with some shine to give your door some liveliness. Paint it: Daydream (26-8); prattandlambert.com

People typically fall into two categories: blue lovers or green lovers. Make everyone happy with this pleasing shade that’s equal parts blue and equal parts green—and it looks just as good on a shingled house as it does on a stone house. Paint It: Quarry (1342); prattandlambert.com

This cool grayish-blue (Behr’s Oslo Blue) makes a great complementary pairing with the warm neutral palette of the surrounding house. The color also echoes the soft blues on the stone porch.

The colors that I found for the front door that I'm debating are: BM Buckland Blue BM Blue Nose BM Five Dollar Bill. I love the buckland.
