Bed between 9-10 usually by 9:30. We wake him up at 7am everyday so he has a consistent eat play nap repeat schedule each day. Helps him sleep better at night. He’s doing one wake up, time varies. Sometimes 12:30, sometimes 3:30, 4:30... 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve given up. I'm glad to read not everybody puts their babies to bed around 7. D's bedtime has been between 9-10 for quite a long time, recently I've started her bedtime routine earlier as she starts falling apart earlier and I want to try get her in bed before that heh. Sometimes it worked, but lately even if we start early, she'll be fussy till for quite a while and it'll be 10 by the time she's asleep anyway. Wondering whether to continue the earlier bedtime routine or to just go back to her old schedule. Her nap schedule sort of doesn't mesh with the earlier bedtie either

@easilyunamused, I would probably call the nurses line to ask, like king26 suggests as well. I don't think I would make a seperate trip, but rather would not give him peanutbutter and wait for his next scheduled appointment since tis just a couple of weeks out.

@easilyunamused I think I would wait to make sure it doesn’t happen again with other foods. And, make sure you have Benadryl on hand in case the reaction changes.
T had hives, so we called on call when she had her peanut butter reaction. We were told to give Benadryl and an appointment was made. She was sent for a blood draw and was referred to an allergist.

@easilyunamused, yeah I probably wouldn’t make an appt either but might call just to mention it.
M broke out in a rash like 4-5 days ago and I had fed her peaches that day. I also put aveeno lavender lotion on her for the first time so I’m not sure which it was. I use the regular aveeno wash on her no problem so I’m thinking maybe the scented lotion? I tried peaches again yesterday so we shall see.

J had a text book nap day yesterday. 2 one and a half hour naps and then a 45 minute nap. He just slept a 6.5 hour stretch at night. He hasn't slept that long in months! I don't expect it to happen again but it was a nice day all around lol. Your living the dream! 😛 I wish M would figure out sleep again soon.

I need to sleep train. I was hoping to hold off until her 9month checkup since her weight kept dropping percentiles. But she was up every 45 min-1.5 hrs for the first half of the night and then every 3 hrs after midnight. I'm exhausted, she's exhausted.
But I start my week of 4 days on at work tomorrow. I don't get home until midnight and the kids are up for the day by 6. And she doesn't eat more than 1-3 oz the whole 12 hrs we're apart so she definitely needs the calories overnight. Next weekend though. Probably.

No. She never has. 😢 She won't eat a bottle at daycare, ever. H can usually get a bottle in her before bed. But a lot of times she just screams when he tries so he has to get her to sleep and then dream feed her.

Is she at least getting solids? I’d have a hard time sleep training too, if the baby was getting nearly all of his calories in the MOTN. With that said, I’m so glad we finally sleep trained. It’s made a world of difference in the Amused household.

Thanks ladies! I’ll probably give the nurses line a call today, just to see what they say. jt2378, good luck with the peaches! It could be the lotion, A seems to have really sensitive skin too. Which is interesting, my skin isn’t super sensitive but when I was pregnant it was.

I mean, it could be worse. I only work part time, so 5 days of daycare and 2 weekend days a month I'm not home all day with her. And she's eating more solids now which helps.
We also have her first tooth popping through. So that may be affecting things too.

Oh, also I can't remember who else was struggling to get iron supplements in, but we found one she doesn't notice mixed in food! NovaFerrum pediatric drops on Amazon. Not cheap ($25), but she didn't notice them.

N is miserable trying to poop. He’s like face turning red angry and screaming about it. Prune juice? Apple juice? Any kind is ok?

I don't know if it was coincidence and he obviously has super sensitive skin but we stopped using that early on (along with 3 or 4 other lotions)

We usually go with pear juice though haven't had to in a while ( of course I said the other days it's been like 2 months since we used juice and his face has been bright red and purple while trying to poop today... )

You have a stubborn girl 😂😭 I agree with holding off on night sleep training since she’s getting most of her calories at that time. Woof. Sorry about the rough nights lately

R slept 5:30pm to 5:30am. Normal bed time is between 6:30-7:30pm. Hopefully, she’s working on crawling and not getting sick. Although, her sister used to sleep 11-12 hours at night.

Does anyone have a umbrella stroller they love? I want one for our Mexico trip next month and can’t decide. There are too many options once again.

After last week of both kids being up 3+ times each overnight, they seem to have gone back to sleeping most of the night. Thank goodness since DH is out of town.
@ easilyunamused We have a Summer Infant 3D Lite for our umbrella stroller- it’s been great for traveling!

Ugh. Facebook showed me a pic a week or two ago of a memory- from when I was 19. And in the pic my shirt is riding up so you can see my belly and I was super skinny and tan and every time I pump and see my mommy pouch or eat another donut I just think of that flat tummy and 😭😭😭😭
You’d think this would encourage me to do something about my belly pouch but 1) I think it’s 50% diastasis recti and idk how to fix that without spending $$$ on those workshops I see offered and 2) I just really love sweets and food in general which doesn’t help the 50% of fattyness.
I’m going to go eat a KitKat dh bought.

addymac im the same. But I still have 7lbs left before I’m back to pre pregnancy weight and I didn’t even gain that much. 😫 I love my sweets and wine too much and can only get an hour walk in a day because the baby refuses to nap anywhere but on me still. And just as I try to start a yoga program, he’ll cry for me.
