So my official due date is 10/30 (I had calculated it to 10/31 because my cycles range 28-29 days, but based on ultrasound last week, midwife says we're going with 10/30), but I'm sticking here because I'm convince I'll go late anyways.
We went on our weekend away to Chicago and 2.5 year old did great at grandma and grandpa's house! We had a really nice trip, Hamilton was amazing, and we ate a ridiculous amount of delicious food and walked a ton exploring the city. Came back and toddler wakes up the next morning with an ear infection, thank goodness for weekend Urgent Care! Can't believe I'm 12 weeks already tomorrow! I feel like last time, the first 6 weeks went by so slowly, and this time around, the first couple of weeks were slow, and then they have flown by.

Stick around My EDD based on O is 10/31, but the doctor gave me 10/28 *shrug* I’m not getting my hopes up for an early baby since DS was late. Sounds like a great trip! So glad y’all had fun! Sorry about your sweet baby being sick Yes! First tri is taking forever! I’m glad it’s been fast for you! I guess I could say I’m in second tri as of yesterday, but I’m still going off of 10/31.

Glad I'm not the only October one here! My last BMB on the Bump, I was one of the last to give birth (on the 26th) and was 8 days past EDD, so it was excruciating to watch everyone else post their birth stories and not be holding my baby yet! Kind of excited I'll be on the early side for this board instead

We saw a gestational sac and a yolk sac!!!
Measuring 5 weeks, where I’ve had it tracked to 5+5. Due date is now December 17. Ovaries look perfect. Ovulated on the right side, actually. So why the pain on the left? 🤷🏻♀️
Had HCG levels checked as well. Won’t know those until the OB calls with their final reading.
Ultrasound tech broke some rules by showing me everything. Nobody tell. She said there can be a pseudo sac with an ectopic, but since there’s a clear yolk sac, that thought went out the window.
Sigh of relief will be complete once the OB calls. I should hear either today or tomorrow morning.

I had my intake appt this morning, and the nurse did a quick/informal handheld ultrasound. Got to see the little nugget and the heartbeat was strong!
I wasn’t expecting that they’d do that today so it was exciting. Last time I didn’t have an ultrasound until 12w and it didn’t feel “real” until that point.
I have a dating ultrasound this Friday where they’ll take measurements and such.

That's wonderful news, quijibo!!!! Those little pains in the beginning can be so paranoia-inducing, especially since you've had an ectopic already. Hoping for a smooth ride for you in the coming weeks and months.

I have had a day y'all. This morning I started bleeding, and had some clots. Call my OB and they can get me in this afternoon. So during this time the bleeding never stops, but isn't filling a pad or anything. Go to my OB, my cervix is still closed, they do an US and find NOTHING.She is poking around trying different angles, still finds nothing. So they have me go get a beta draw, with a repeat for Wednesday and want me to come in again on Thursday for a repeat US because everyone as thinking at this point I've lost the baby and already passed the tissue. So I call my RE Nurse who works some magic and gets me into their office immediately. Have another US and BOOM BABY! AND HEARTBEAT!!!!!!!! It turns out baby is hiding up at the tip top of my uterus and is snuggled right up against the gestational sack. All measurements and HB are on track and I'll be going back to them next week for a follow up US. I do have a pretty small SCH that is causing the bleeding but it is not near the baby so they are hoping it resolves itself soon. I am emotionally done withe day and comforting myself with some Arby's mozzarella sticks.
TLDR; Baby and Kaiser gave me a heart attack.

Anyone else still feeling like this isn’t real?
Already having 1 kid and also working, I am pretty distracted & simply not as preoccupied with this pregnancy as I was the first time around. I also had more dr visits as reminders/confirmations that I was KU the first time around.
I was just scrolling through recent pics on my phone and came across a photo of my 10w sonogram from earlier this month. It seriously took me a second and then I was like “oh yeah...”

Like my mind is blown that a baby can so successfully find an undetectable place to hide. Uteri are not that big, right? I think it had more to do with the OB US machine vs the RE one. My understanding is the RE ones are a lot better and more sensitive.

Diordra Oh my gosh I got so anxious reading your post.. I can’t imagine what you must have felt today! I’m so very relieved that all is well with baby! charlotte I still feel like this isn’t real a lot of the time. Even while feeling all the first tri feels. I dunno. lol

After my ultrasound it felt more real. I'm so busy with my other 3 though that it slips my mind from time to time. I'm inching closer to the second trimester and I cannot wait.
Also, I just bought tickets for my oldest and I to go back home for a visit in early June! I am so excited, I've been so home sick lately and miss my family in AZ. I'm also excited to take a one on one trip with my oldest. This will be the first plane ride that he will remember and he's super excited.

We did PGS testing on our embryos just prior to this latest FET cycle, so at our last ultrasound where we found the strong heartbeat, we had our RE tell us the sex, and that has made this pregnancy feel a lot more real. That, and the fact that morning sickness has been way worse this time around makes it hard to forget, lol.

Diordra that's so scary, and such a relief they were able to find baby on the ultrasound finally! I know that relief, thinking you're losing your pregnancy and then seeing a heartbeat on the screen. Eat all the mozzarella sticks and try and catch your breath <3

charlotte the only reason I remember I even am is because of this god damned nausea. Other than that I would probably forget.

It won’t feel real over here until I hear a heartbeat. Soooooon!
The ultrasound tech yesterday put my stuff in as a 24-hour read instead of STAT because she didn’t find anything distressing. So, I’m staring at my phone, willing it to ring. I just want to hear from the doctor that the ultrasound and blood work are good and we’ll see you May 1.
Anyone else measure smaller than expected, though? With DD, I was dead-on. This one is measuring 5 days behind what I’ve tracked.

I am measuring 11 days behind. I am waiting for the dr to call for a follow up u/s for proper dating. The U/S tech said that where I was there was a +- 2 week for dating....
